INTRODUCTION
Medical Hand washing is the mechanical removal of microorganisms from the hands and forearm with
the use of soap and water.
Personal Protective Equipment refers to a medical equipment that will protect the user against health
or safety risks at work. It can include items such as laboratory gowns, gloves, eye protection, mask, shoe
cover and head cap.

it is necessary for us to know every type of PPE in order for us to have the knowledge what is the
different kinds of PPE is for. Having the knowledge on the different kinds of PPE can be helpful and also
the information can be used for knowing what use is the specified PPE equipment is for.

The steps on Medical Handwashing are to first wet your hands with clean, running water (warm or
cold), turn off the tap, and apply soap. Then lather your hands by rubbing them together with the soap.
Lather the backs of your hands, between your fingers, and under your nails. To be followed by scrubbing
your hands for at least 20 seconds some tip for this is singing the happy birthday song. Then rinsing your
hands well under clean, running water and lastly drying your hands using a clean towel or air dry them.
VI. CONCLUSION
Knowing the different kinds of PPE can really help prevent accidents that may occur. Handwashing is
also important for our personal hygiene in order to maintain the cleanliness and prevent diseases or
infections that may happen. Attaining this kind of knowledge is beneficial to us by gaining the advantage
of preventing diseases or infections that may come.
