Help a Blogger Out FREE Blogging

Cheat Sheet by Blog With Mo

Use this Cheat Sheet to start a blog and begin earning income within the very first month of
creating your blog.

Step 1. Sign Up For Siteground.

Siteground is the Wordpress Host I recommend for hosting your blog. They are affordable, safe,
reliable and speedy! If you already have a website, they will help you to transfer to them. If you
need help, read this tutorial on how to start your blog with Siteground.

Click here to sign up with Siteground.

Step 2. Install a Wordpress Theme

Choose a theme that’s easy to work with, pretty on the eyes and most importantly, one that has
dedicated space for ads.

Here are some great girly Wordpress themes to choose from.

Step 3. Choose a Niche and Research Viral Topics

The niches that will do well on Pinterest are:

● Parenting ● Gardening and homesteading
● Health and wellness ● DIY
● Food ● Personal finance
● Travel ● Pets
● Fashion ● Personal development, motivation
● Beauty etc
● Home decor

Choose one of the above niches and find the hot topics within the niche. You’ll do this by finding
blogs already in that space that are making money. How will you know this? They will firstly
have ads served by Mediavine on their blogs. Mediavine is a premium ad network that pays
much better than Google Ads or many other ad networks. They require 25,000 sessions within a
30 day period before they will accept a blog so if a blog has Mediavine ads, they are who you
aspire to be.

You can find blogs in your niche that are making money and their most popular blog posts by
following the steps in this post.

Step 4. Create Viral Content

You should now have a list of blog posts that are popular on bigger blogs within your chosen
niche and are now ready to write some blog posts. If you want to make money in the next 30
days, you will need lots of content to begin with. Go here, select some blogging content that
matches your niche and use these prewritten posts as the basis of your content.

This is another great resource for very easy to work with pre-written content in a variety of
niches.

Then follow this content creation checklist to write your posts. Flesh out the content that you
selected from the above resources so that they are much more detailed for SEO purposes.
You’ll want to edit them thoroughly so that you will not have any duplicated content on your site.

Using pre-written content will give you a great boost to be able to produce loads of content in
your first month or two. Then you can begin to slow down on content creation and take the time
to write your own. Click here to find even more places to get pre-written content and read the
benefits of using these resources.

Step. 5 Set Up Your Email Marketing

Sign up for Mailerlite. They are free up to 1000 subscribers and will allow you to set up forms to
allow your readers to sign up to your email list. You want to do this before you start marketing
your posts anywhere because it is a high possibility that one of your posts will go viral since you
are creating content that you have researched and know is high value in your niche since it
brings the bigger bloggers great traffic to their blogs.

Sign up for my free 5-day email list-building course to learn how to get more subscribers and
what to email them once you start building your list.
Step. 6 Create 2 Pins for Every Post

Create 2 pins for every post that you have written using the free platform Canva.com or any
other image editing software you’re comfortable with. The pins should all be 600*900, have
bring colours and images that pop. I love using Pixistock for bright, professional yet girly stock
images for my pins. Depositphotos is another great resource for stock images.

Use bold writing that’s clear so that they will be easy to read on mobile devices. Read this post
to get more information on creating pins and setting up your Pinterest account, which is the next
step.

Step 7. Set Up Your Pinterest Business Account

Set up your Pinterest profile according to this post and begin to add your pins from your posts to
Pinterest. Additional Pinterest tips are in this post. I recommend reading both posts because
Pinterest is where you’ll be getting the bulk of your traffic from and is crucial to your plan of
making money in the first 30 days.

Sign up for a free Tailwind trial account here. This will allow you to schedule 100 pins so that
you are always pinning. This is again crucial to your plan working. You need your pins to be
circulating everyday on your own boards and on boards owned by others, called group boards.

Read this post to find group boards to join.

Step 8. Sign up for Google Ads

Now that you have content up on your blog and you have some amount of traffic coming in from
Pinterest, it’s time to sign up for ads. Ads are the quickest way to begin making some money
from your blog and Google Ads will accept new bloggers. This will also train your readers to get
accustomed to the fact that ads are on your blog.

Ensure that you have a privacy policy on your page somewhere as this is necessary to get
approved by Google. Click here to read more on getting your blog up to scratch when it comes
to the legal side of things.

This plugin is also super handy to help you get your blog compliant.
Step 9. SEO Your Posts
You may have not written your posts with much thought to keywords and SEO in mind. Now is a
good time to go through and optimise them for search engine traffic. Pinterest is great for
bringing in the quick traffic but Google is king for bringing in targeted traffic over the long term
without you having to do much else after you’ve written your posts.

Click here to sign up for my keyword research tool that is my absolute right hand in blogging. To
learn more about blog seo click here and for specific keyword research tips click here.

Step 10. Get Traffic from Facebook Groups

Read this post to see how to use Facebook groups to get traffic to your blog posts and to
download my list of over 60 groups to join.

Next Steps
Now that you have a blog with lots of posts and you’re getting traffic from Pinterest and
Facebook, you should be earning some money daily from Google Ads. Keep adding more posts
to your blog so that you can continue to fill your Tailwind queue and flood Pinterest with your
pins.

If you’re not getting the kind of traffic from Pinterest that is making an impact, you may need to
work on a Pinterest strategy. My Pinterest ebook can help you with that. Click here to grab a
copy for $10 off with coupon HABOSTUDENT as a special discount for you for going through
this cheat sheet.

You’ve gotta be willing to put in the work. Blogging for profit isn’t a walk in the park but it’s very
rewarding if you do it well.

My new blog had exactly 40 posts in the first 30 days because I knew it would take lots of
content and lots of pins to move the needle that quickly. I made $104 in my first 30 days and
$380 in the next 30 days after that. I was also accepted into Mediavine in those first 60 days
after receiving 40,000 page views by following this exact template outlined.

Join the Amazon Associates network and begin to add affiliate links to your posts. You can read
this post for more info on affiliate marketing. Then begin continue to improve your blogging skills
and knowledge with more premium courses, masterminds and blogging ebooks.
My favourite blogging community is the Billionaire Blog Club because it encompasses all of that.
Blogging ebooks and courses on everything from Pinterest, Wordpress, Affiliate Marketing,
SEO, Blog Content and even Google Analytics.

There’s also a very tightly knit community of bloggers on every rung of the ladder always willing
to answer questions and help out whenever you have questions. The community creator is also
very active in the community. Sign up for the free blogging bootcamp by the BBC here to see if
it’s a fit for you.
