Uganda Tourism: September 2015

Uganda has significant tourism resources including Gorilla Gorilla beringei, Kazinga Channel, Murchison Falls National Park, and snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains. Tourism is an important industry for Uganda's economy, contributing $1,734 million to GDP in 2011 and providing over 200,000 jobs. While Uganda faces challenges in sustainable marketing and infrastructure, the country continues investing in tourism facilities and education to develop its tourism industry.
