Justifies the need for conducting the study and summarizes what the study aims to achieve.

Profile of Organization/Place/Events etc.

Objectives of the Study

Summarize what you hope will be achieved by the study. Write the general objectives in a paragraph at
first and then specific objectives may be written in point as under

Rationale of the Study

Provides information to the reader on how the study will contribute. It must be specifically stated,
however, what the study will contribute and who will benefit from it.

Review

Review provides books, scholarly articles, and any other sources relevant to a particular issue, area of
research, or theory. To provide an overview of sources you have explored while researching a particular
issues. It can be written in two sections

 Conceptual literature review: The conceptual literature review helps to establish what theories
already exist, the relationships between them, to what degree the existing theories have been
investigated, and to develop new hypotheses to be tested.
