New Economy=New Jobs: We have to change our education. Things have changed we can’t
keep doing the same things we are doing.

Tradition vs. Traditional

● Traditions:
● Traitional: things we do that are no longer up to date.
Schools can be irrelevant for our students. Schools have to shift!
Homework is traditional.
Think but act small- attainable has to be sustainable.
Host meetings in teacher classrooms and then have the teacher write something nice about the
teachers classroom to fill up their bucket.
You have time for what you make time for.
Do 3-5 things really well nt 25 things mediocre.
Having a tech meet up. Meet the teacher where they are. Don't worry about the presentations.
Keep it simple
Leadership
● Do as little as possible- delegate!
● Should anyone be doing it?
● Listen Listen Listen, then Talk
● Find a good mentor outside of the county to get rid of the politics
● Work yourself out of a job-
● Move with seed and purpose
● Don’t get emotional
● Put in the work
● Be in charge of what yoru in charge of
● Change your perspective.
● Join a PLN- got to get connected
● Be okay with good enough. You don’t have to be perfect al the time. Progress not
perfection
● Get out of your comfort zone. If you want to change you have to get uncomfortable.
