using strategies and critical reading, listening and viewing to evaluate text content, elements,
features and properties, extemporaneous and impromptu public speaking; and using of
affirmation/ negotiation markers.

B. Performance Standard
The learner skillfully delivers a speech for a special occasion through utilizing effective
verbal and non-verbal strategies and ICT resources.

Before we start the discussion, let’s have a

topics/titles of text and the representative will
come and read the given item. After that,
he/she will determine the item if it is a topic
for description, comparison and contrast,
problem and solution, cause and effect or a
sequence.
After determining what is the way presenting
the topic, he/she can relay the answer until the
last person will give me the correct answer.
