All Praise be to Allah Almighty, Peace and Blessings upon our Master
Sayyiduna Rasool Allah ﷺ, upon the Khulafa e Raashideen, His Noble
Companions, His Illustrious family, upon all of the Aulia e Kiraam and
upon all those who will follow them until the last day.
A Muslim can truly only claim his love for Rasul Allah ﷺ, if he
attempts to follow the manner and blessed Sunnah of the Beloved
Messenger of Allah Almighty ﷺ, in loving whom they love.
Loving those Whom Allah Almighty and His Beloved Habeeb ﷺlove,
whom Sayyiduna Umar, Sayyiduna Uthman, and Mawla Ali
Radi’Allahu’Anhum love. Whom all the Ahle Bait e Kiraam and the
ن
Sahaba e Kiraam ر ضی الہ ھمlove, and whom all the Saheehul Aqeedah
Sunnis love. Who is none other than Khalifa e Awwal, Yaar e ghaar,
Sayyiduna Siddique al Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
5
We are given such an opportunity after the reading of this book to
enlighten ourselves and to teach our children, true love for the
beloved of the Most Beloved Sayyiduna Rasool Allah ﷺin Sayyiduna
Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
After going through this beautiful book you will wholeheartedly agree
with what Hadrat Mufti Afthab Sahib Qibla has written in one of his
commentaries:
This further proves that the adherents of the Ahle Sunnat are on Haq,
and all the others are deviants. We should thus continuously remind
ourselves and our families, that there is only one path, and that is the
path of the Ahle Sunnat.
In this day and age this blessed path is also known as Maslak e Aala
Hazrat, for it is The Sign of Recognition of the True Ahle Sunnat Wal
Jama'at. Those who slander even a single Companion of Nabi
Kareem ﷺare deviants and have gone astray, and such people and
such sects are indeed distant from The Mercy of Almighty Allah and
they are deprived from the Intercession of His Most Beloved Nabi
ﷺ. We should always remember the important message which
Hadrat Mufti Afthab Sahib Qibla is a great asset for the Ahlus Sunnah,
who not only understands the needs of the English speaking Sunni
population, but also is fulfilling this need on a constant basis. I am
6
grateful, thankful and honoured that Hadrat blesses this Ahqar to go
through his works and it is his kind generosity and humility that he
has granted me the honour and opportunity to add a comment to his
beautiful work.
I pray from the bottom of my heart that Allah Almighty showers his
unbound bounties upon him, and makes this contribution as a means
of great Sadaqah e Jaariayah for his blessed parents. May Allah
Almighty allow all his translations to become accepted far and wide
and reward him in abundance. May Allah Almighty grant Huzoor
Muhad’dith e Kabeer Qibla a long healthy life and bless all of us with
blessings.

AN UNBIASED SCHOLARLY ANALYSIS
Hazrat Allama Maulana Mufti Quaiser Ali Razvi Misbahi
Amjadi Darul Ifta, Masjid e Khalid, Durban, South Africa
﷽
ادا و يا و ا
Imam e Ahle Sunnat, Sayyidi Huzoor Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہwas the
greatest and most responsible Aalim and Mufti of the Shari’ah and
the Grand Reviver of the nation in his era, and this is why he
controlled and stopped all the evil disruptions of the time, and he
supported the Maslak e Ahle Sunnat with complete devotion, by
opposing and refuting all the false sects of the era.
8
He elucidated and made clear the Maslak of the Noble Pious
Predecessors, by refuting all the corrupt and deviant sects. Like the
other deviant sects Imam e Ahle Sunnat, Sayyidi Huzoor Aala Hazrat
ر ضی الہ ضنہalso intensely refuted that Raafdhi and the Tafdheeli sects.
There are two general groups amongst the Raafdhis. One of them
accepts the ‘Khulafa e Thalaasa’ (The First Three Khulafa) as being the
righteous and duly appointed ones, but it regards Hazrat Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہas
being superior to all of them. These are the Tafdheeliya.
The second group does not accept any one of the Khulafa e Thalaasa
to be a righteous Khalifa, but they declare them as being usurpers
and they regard Hazrat Ali e Murtadha ر ضی الہ ضنہas the immediate first
Khalifa. They make the Sahaba e Kiraam, especially Hazrat Ameer
Mu’awiyah ر ضی الہ ضنہ, the target of their curses and slanders.
9
Nowhere else are we able to observe that which has been
meticulously and perfectly written, while explaining the unique and
outstanding Beliefs of the Maslak e Ahle Sunnat, as quoted in the
above mentioned books.

There is no doubt that the status of the Sahaba e Kiraam یم رض ضوانis
greater and more superior to the entire Ummah. Now until
Qiyaamat, no matter how much of Ibaadat (worshipping) or Riyaazat
(spiritual exercise) one may do, he can never be equal to them (the
Sahaba). This Grand Excellence is afforded to every Sahabi. Even
ن
though all the Sahaba e Kiraam ر ضی الہ تاٰی مare the Radiant Stars of
Guidance, but the greatest amongst all of them is Hazrat Sayyiduna
Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
10
Alhamdu Lillah, this humble servant was blessed with the honour of
reading the entire book. Like always, I was once more very impressed
after reading the book. Indeed, upon Huzoor Afthab e Millat, are the
special blessings of the Masha’ikh e Kiraam, especially Murshid e
Kareem Huzoor Taajush Shariah یی ہ رہand my Honourable Teacher,
Huzoor Muhad’dith e Kabeer دام ظہ نی ظا.
It has been seen that whenever he moves his pen and applies his
mind to any topic, then through the blessings of the Masha’ikh, he is
seen successfully doing justice to that topic and subject. If with the
sight of love and spiritual allegiance, whilst wearing the spectacles of
love, the readers peruse the topics which have been presented in this
book, especially the explanations and annotations of the book, in
other words, the ‘Compiler’s Humble Observation’, you will confirm
the words of this humble servant, and you will instinctively admire
and applaud that which you are reading.
He has explained such beautiful points regarding the praises and the
virtues of the Sahaba e Kiraam, especially Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr
Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہthat it causes one’s Imaan to be refreshed, and one’s
11
Aqida to be further fortified. Finally, this humble servant takes the
pleasure of commending Hazrat Mufti Saaheb Qibla on the successful
completion and publication of this exemplary and scholarly
achievement.

THE FIRST REFLECTION
A BEAUTIFUL DISCUSSION WITH MAULA ALI,
ABOUT THE BELOVEDS OF THE MOST BELOVED NABI ﷺ
Naz’zaal Bin Sabrah ر ضی الہ ضنہsays that we once found Ameerul Momineen
Maula Ali رم الہ تای وج ہہ ییرمin a very cheerful mood.
17
We said, Tell us about Umar Bin Khat’tab? He said, He is that
personality, whose name Almighty Allah kept as ‘Farooq’. He
separated the truth from falsehood. I heard Rasoolullah ﷺsaying,
O Allah! Grant honour to Islam, through Umar Bin Khat’tab.
We said, Tell us about Uthman?

COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATIONS
In this narration, we are able to observe the love which was present

between the Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن ضين. We can see that Sayyiduna
Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہis being asked about who his beloved and dear friends are,
and he is responding by saying that all the Companions of Nabi
Kareem ﷺare his Beloved Friends.

It is further ascertained that, when all the Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن ضين
are his Beloveds, then those who slander any Sahabi of Rasoolullah
ﷺis slandering and attacking the Beloved Friends of Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہ
and hence such people who slander those who are beloved to Maula
Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہare not the true followers and lovers of Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہ, but
they are the enemies of Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
19
We are able to observe further in this narration, how Sayyiduna Ali e
Murtadha ر ضی الہ ضنہpraises the First and Righteous Khalifa of Islam, Hazrat
Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ننہ.
This is why Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہ says about
Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ:
Hazrat Sayyiduna Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہthen says that which is indeed what the
entire Ahle Sunnah believes. In other words, he is saying that
Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہis not just a Sahabi, but he is the
Khalifa of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ. Now, after this he says,
Rasoolullah ﷺwas pleased with him (i.e. selected him) to lead us in
our Deen.
20
What does this really mean? It means that Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us
that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺwas so pleased with Hazrat Abu Bakr
Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہthat He ﷺchose Hazrat Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہfor the

protection of the Deen of all the Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن ضينand he
was also chosen for the most important duty of a Muslim, which was
to lead the Salaah when the Beloved Rasool ﷺwas unwell (in the
eyes of the world) before departing from this physical world to
journey towards His ﷺGrand Kingdom in the Hereafter, from where
He ﷺcontrols all the affairs of the universe.
So, Sayyiduna Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that when Allah’s Most Beloved
Rasool ﷺcommanded Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہto lead the

Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن ضينin Salaah (in Namaaz), then we all knew
that which was obvious to us from before. In other words, we always
knew that there is none amongst us like Abu Bakr Siddiqueر ضی الہ ضنہ, and
this was confirmed when Nabi Kareem ﷺcommanded him to lead

the Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن ضينin Salaah, or else Nabi Kareem ﷺ
would have asked anyone else to lead the Salaah, but He ﷺ
specifically Commanded Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہfor this Grand
Duty. After mentioning that Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺwas pleased
with Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہas the Imam of the Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى
 ج
ي م ا ن نين, Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہgoes a step further and says that, So we are
pleased with him (i.e. preferred him) for our worldly affairs as well.
In saying this, Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہis making it very clear that when Nabi
Kareem ﷺchose and appointed Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہto
lead us in Salaah which is the greatest form of Ibaadat, then we knew
for sure that it is he, who is also best for all our other affairs.
Therefore, Hazrat Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہsays that all the companions and this
includes himself as well, were pleased with Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu
Bakr ر ضی الہ ضنہas their Imam in Deen and as their Imam in their worldly
affairs, thus they were all pleased with him being the First Khalifa of
Islam.
21
This is why Hazrat Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہcommenced by saying that, He was the
Khalifa of Rasoolullah ﷺ. Then, only thereafter did he speak about
him being best for their Deen and for their worldly affairs and this is
evidence that Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہwas always pleased with Hazrat Abu
Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہbeing the First Khalifa of Islam and there was

consensus regarding this amongst the Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن ضين.
This also proves that all of them agreed to the Blessed Sequence of
The Beloved Khulafa of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, with Sayyiduna Abu Bakr
Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہbeing the First Khalifa, Sayyiduna Umar e Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہ
being the Second Khalifa, Hazrat Sayyiduna Uthman Zun-Noorain ر ضی الہ ضنہ
being the Third Khalifa and Hazrat Sayyiduna Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہbeing the
Fourth Khalifa. This is why Hazrat Naz’zaal bin Sabra also asked first
about Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ, then about Hazrat Umar e
Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہand then about Hazrat Uthman e Ghani ر ضی الہ ضنہ. If this
beautiful unity amongst the Khulafa e Arba’ of Rasoolullah ﷺand

amongst all the Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن ضينhad to be elegantly strung
together as pearls of love, then this couplet of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat
Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہsays it beautifully. The Has’saan ul Hind ر ضی الہ ضنہ
says,
Hazrat Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہthereafter mentions the distinction of Hazrat Umar e
Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہand says that he personally heard the Beloved Rasool ﷺ
saying, O Allah! Grant honour to Islam, through Umar Bin Khat’tab.
22
What more needs to be said about that personality regarding whom
the Beloved Rasool ﷺmade such a Blessed Dua. This alone tells us
that Hazrat Umar ر ضی الہ ضنہwas made a means for the Muslims to be
fortified and for Islam to grow with honour.
Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہalso says that Hazrat Umar e Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہis that
blessed personality who separated the truth from falsehood and this
is why Sayyiduna Umar ر ضی الہ ضنہis known as Farooq. This is why he
further says that, He is that personality, whose name Almighty Allah
kept as ‘Farooq’.
Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہthen speaks about the grandness of Hazrat Sayyiduna
Uthman Zun-Noorain ر ضی الہ ضنہand mentions the honour which has been
afforded to him and in doing so, he makes it very clear that Uthman e
Ghani ر ضی الہ ضنہis known as Zun-Noorain, but he is not just known in this
world as Zun-Noorain, but he is known by this Grand Title in the
Highest Assembly of the Angels, for he is the blessed personality who
attained that honour which none other has attained.
23
In other words, he was blessed with making Nikah to two of the
Blessed Daughters of Nabi Kareem ﷺ. After Sayyidatuna Ruqay’yah ر ضى
ن
ا تناى اpassed away, The Beloved Rasool ﷺgave Sayyidatuna Umme
Kulthum ر ضى ا تناى ضاin the Nikah of Hazrat Uthman e Ghani ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
Hazrat Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہthen says that the Beloved Rasool ﷺtook the
guarantee of Blessing Hazrat Uthman e Ghani ر ضی الہ ضنہwith a Mansion in
Jannah. Now, why did he say this? He is saying this to explain the
Grand Excellence of Hazrat Uthman e Ghani ر ضی الہ ضنہ, but he is also doing
this to refute those who slander Hazrat Uthman e Ghani ر ضی الہ ضنہ, and
this is a refutation of the Raafdhis who slander the other three
Khulafa and say that they are apostates (Allah Forbid). Here, Maula
Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہis in fact saying that such people should be shunned; for I
have heard personally that Nabi Kareem ﷺguaranteed him his place
in Jannat. So, he is indeed in Holy Paradise, and the possessor of two
lights here and in the hereafter. Thus, Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle
Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہsays,
24
Thus, all the Sahaba e Kiraam regarded Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہas their
pride and their honour. Thus, Ustadh e Zaman Allama Hasan ر ضی الہ ضنہ
says,
Into The Oath of Allegiance, When Farooq, Uthman And Ali Took Admission
The Pride of All Spiritual Chains, Became The Grand Chain of Siddique e Akbar
25
THE SECOND REFLECTION
A LESSON FROM THE NOBLE FAMILY OF THE FIRST KHALIFA,
ABOUT HONOURING THOSE WHO REFUTE THE ENEMIES OF
RASOOLULLAH ﷺ
It is reported from ‘Ata bin Abi Rabah ر ضی الہ ضنہthat Hazrat Has’saan (Ibn
Thaabit) ر ضی الہ ضنہonce visited Ummul Momineen A’isha Siddiqa ر ضی الہ ضا. So,
Ummul Momineen ر ضی الہ ضاhad a large cushion (i.e. a seat of honour)
set for him (to sit on).
(Hazrat) Abdur Rahman bin Abu Bakr ( ر ضی الہ ضیھاi.e. the son of Siddique e
Akbar )ر ضی الہ ضنہthen arrived. (On seeing this blessed scenario) He
(politely) enquired, You are having him sit on a seat of honour?
So, Ummul Momineen ( ر ضی الہ ضاi.e. A’isha Siddiqa The Daughter of
Hazrat Siddique e Akbar) said,
26
COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATIONS
The personality who is narrating this narration is Hazrat ‘Ata bin Abi
Rabah ر ضی الہ ضنہ. He is a renowned Tabi’ee. His name was Abu Muhammad
‘Ata bin Aslam and he was well-known by the epithet Abu Rubah. He
was born during the Uthmani Era in 27 Hijri. He was blessed with
meeting and taking blessings from numerous grand personalities, a
few amongst whom are Sayyiduna Ibn e Ab’bas, Sayyiduna Ibn Umr,
Sayyiduna Ibn Zubair, Sayyiduna Mu’awiyah, Sayyiduna Usama bin
ض
Zaid, Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah and Sayyiduna Zaid bin Arqam ر ضی الہ م
etc.
He had many students. Amongst them, a few are, Imam Ya’qub bin
‘Ata, Imam Abu Ishaq Sabi’ee, Imam Mujahid, Imam Zuhri, Imam
Ayub Sikhtiyaani, Imam A’mash and Imam Awza’i etc. He narrated
Hadith from Hazrat A’isha Siddiqa ر ضی الہ ضنہand Hazrat Abu Hurairah ر ضی الہ ضنہ
etc. Imam Azam Abu Hanifa ر ضی الہ ضنہalso took his blessings.
Imam Abu Hanifa ر ضی الہ ضنہsaid about him, I have not seen any person
like him. He journeyed from this world into the hereafter in the year
115 Hijri in Makkah Shareef.
Rasool ﷺ. In this narration, it is as clear as day that the Beloved Wife
of The Beloved Rasool ﷺand the Beloved Daughter of Sayyiduna
Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ, honoured Hazrat Sayyiduna Has’saan ibn
Thaabit ر ضی الہ ضنہand she did not do this only because he is a Sahabi, but
she did this because he used to recite the Na’at of Nabi Kareem ﷺ
and while doing so, he would refute the enemies of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
27
Now, why did Hazrat Sayyiduna Abdur Rahmaan bin Abu Bakr ر ضی الہ ضنہ
ask her about her reason for honouring Sayyiduna Has’saan ibn
Thaabit ر ضی الہ ضنہand placing a seat of honour for him?
He obviously knew the reason for this, but he did so, so that the
status and the excellence of Hazrat Has’saan ibn Thaabit ر ضی الہ ضنہmay
also be confirmed by the blessed words of Sayyidatuna A’isha Siddiqa
ر ضی الہ ضنہand so that until Qiyaamat the Muslims will know that to refute
the enemies of Allah and His Rasool ﷺis not extremism, but it is an
act of honour and blessings.
In fact, Sayyidatuna A’isha Siddiqa ر ضی الہ ضاand Hazrat Abdur Rahmaan
bin Abu Bakr ر ضی الہ ضنہwere giving a grand lesson to the Muslim world.
They were teaching us a lesson of true love and they were teaching
us the manner and the way of the ‘Grand House of Abu Bakr’.
They were teaching us that we should love and honour those who
speak out against deviants and those who speak out against the
enemies of Almighty Allah and His Beloved Rasool ﷺ.
To further support that which Sayyidatuna A’isha ر ضی الہ ضاdid in honour
of Hazrat Has’saan ibn Thaabitر ضی الہ ضنہ, we should look at a Hadith which
is present in the Shama’il e Tirmizi.
because she was aware of how Nabi Kareem ﷺtreated him and how
pleased Nabi Kareem ﷺwould be when Hazrat Sayyiduna Has’saan
Ibn Thaabit ر ضی الہ ضنہwould recite Na’at and at the same time respond on
behalf of Nabi Kareem ﷺand refute the Kuffar e Makkah.
28
The Grand Imam of this era, Huzoor Sayyidi Muhad’dith e Kabeer,
Hazrat Allama Shah Mufti Zia ul Mustafa Qaadiri Amjadi Qibla says
about the Hadith in the Shama’il, It has been mentioned in other
narrations (as well) that Hazrat Has’saan ibn Thaabit ر ضی الہ ضنہused to
recite lengthy Na’ats in Praise of Rasool e Akram ﷺin poetic form
and this has been mentioned in other Ahadith and in the Shama’il e
Tirmizi as well.
It must also be noted that while reciting the Na’at of The Beloved
Rasool ﷺ, Hazrat Has’saan ibn Thaabit ر ضی الہ ضنہwould also refute the
enemies of Almighty Allah and His Beloved Rasool ﷺon behalf of the
Beloved Rasool ﷺ, and Rasool e Akram Noor e Mujas’sam ﷺwould
say, Verily Almighty Allah Aids Has’saan With The Support of
Jibra’eel یی ہ مFor As Long As He Is Praising Rasoolullah ﷺAnd
Responding On Behalf of Allah’s Rasool ﷺ.
It must thus be noted that Sayyidatuna A’isha Siddiqa ر ضی الہ ضنہwas
treating Hazrat Sayyiduna Has’saan ibn Thaabit ر ضی الہ ضنہwith such
respect, because it gave comfort to the Sacred Heart of Nabi Kareem
ﷺwhen Hazrat Has’saan ibn Thaabit ر ضی الہ ضنہrefuted the enemies of
29
As food for thought, after looking at the initial narration and then the
supporting narration which is in the Shama’il, it is evident that to
beautify the Masjid and to lay a stage for the recital of Na’at Shareef
is permissible.

It also proves that it is the way of the Noble Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم
ج
ا ن نينi to refute the enemies of Rasoolullah ﷺwhile reciting Na’at
For such people we say, go back to this Hadith and observe the
manner of Sayyidatuna A’isha Siddiqa ر ضی الہ ضنہ. Let us remind such people
that our Imam Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہhas already given us the
formula for such situations.
He says,
Those who oppose this, are opposing the manner which was
prevalent during the Sacred Gatherings which took place in Masjid un
Nabawi Shareef, in the Grand Presence of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ.
Opposing this, is the way which leads to Sulhe Kul’liyat (i.e. to
becoming agents of unholy unity) and this takes such people into the
dungeons of destruction.
30
Sayyidatuna A’isha Siddiqa ر ضی الہ ضنہis in fact saying to us that, learn from
me how to honour those who refuted the enemies of Nabi Kareem
ﷺ, and increase the Na’at of Nabi Kareem ﷺand while doing so, do
not shy away from refuting the deviants and do not care about them.
Rather, you should burn their hearts and souls and let them burn in
their enmity while you praise Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
This is why Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam e Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہsaid,
This means that the Sacred Heart of Nabi Kareem ﷺis comforted
and He ﷺis pleased when the heretics are refuted. So, we further
understand that the message which, ‘The Grand House of Siddique e
Akbar’ gave to the Ummah is that, your refutation of the enemies of
Almighty Allah and His Beloved Rasool ﷺwill grant you the
31
Pleasure of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, and when He ﷺis pleased with you,
then Almighty Allah is indeed pleased with you.
It is this which is in fact Maslak e Aala Hazrat and it is this which all
the pious predecessors taught us throughout their lives. If this very
same message is conveyed in the words of the Has’saan ul Hind
Sayyiduna Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہ, then one would say,
Both The Worlds Are Yearning, For The Pleasure of Almighty Allah
The Pleasure of Almighty Allah, Is In What Pleases Muhammad ﷺ
One other point which is derived from this narration and from the
manner of Sayyidatuna A’isha Siddiqa ر ضی الہ نا, is that it is permissible
and the way of the pious predecessors to make special seating
arrangements for the sincere and true Ulama and for the Masha’ikh
and for those who are true reciters of the Na’at of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
This is also a refutation of those who complain and object when the
Masha’ikh and the Ulama e Haq are honoured with special seating
arrangements during the gatherings of the Ahle Sunnat.

COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATIONS
The actual text of the Hadith Shareef which Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہ
quoted in Fataawa Razviyyah Shareef, has been reported in Kanz ul
Ummal with the following words,
ﻋﻦ ﻋﻤﺮ أﻣﺮﻧﺎ رﺳﻮل اﷲ ﺻ اﷲ ﻋﻠﻴه وﺳﻠﻢ ﻳﻮﻣﺎ أن ﻧﺘﺼﺪق وواﻓﻖ ذﻟﻚ ﻣﺎﻻ

This Hadith Shareef says that which Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Azeem ul
Barkat ر ضی الہ ضنہmentioned in the translation of the Hadith Shareef in
Fataawa Razviyyah Shareef. I have quoted the actual text above for
the sake of attaining its blessings.
If we read this Hadith Shareef carefully and ponder over the message
of Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ, it will further strengthen
the Aqida of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jama’at. In this narration, Hazrat
Umar e Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہis mentioning how one day he thought about
37
surpassing Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہin virtues, so he decided to
bring half of his wealth to the Grand Court of Nabi Kareem ﷺand he
left half of his wealth for his Noble Family. Now, a very important
part of this narration, are the following words of Sayyiduna Umar e
Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہ:
So Rasoolullah ﷺ said, What Did You Leave Behind For Your
Family?
My reason for saying that, this is a very important part of this Hadith,
is because it proves that the Beloved Rasool ﷺwas aware of the
condition of the heart of Hazrat Sayyiduna Umar e Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہ, and
He ﷺknew well what Hazrat Umar e Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہwas thinking and
He ﷺalso knew that Hazrat Umar e Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہwas thinking about
this with a pure intention. This is why Nabi Kareem ﷺasked him
about what he left behind for hi family. In other words, why did the
Beloved Rasool ﷺspecifically ask this question to Hazrat Umar ر ضی الہ ضنہ
on that particular day? And why did He ﷺnot just ask, What did you
bring?
Why did He ﷺask, What Did You Leave Behind For Your Family? He
ﷺasked this, because He ﷺknew that today My Beloved Umar
38
From this, it is clear that Hazrat Umar ر ضی الہ ضنہonly thought in his heart
about surpassing Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہon that particular
day, and he did this so that he may be blessed further by the Beloved
Rasool ﷺ. However, when Nabi Kareem ﷺasked Hazrat Umar ر ضی الہ ضنہ
the question, and then later asked the same question to Hazrat Abu
Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ, then Huzoor ﷺwas in fact telling Hazrat Umar e

Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہand all the Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن نين, that it is indeed
blessed and virtuous to compete with one another for virtue and to
attain nearness in the Court of Allah and His Rasool ﷺ, but
understand, that no matter how much all of you do, you cannot
reach the level of love which My Siddique has, for you left half of
your wealth for your Noble Family and brought half of it for Allah’s
Deen and My Siddique brought everything upon My Call and left
Allah and His Rasool ﷺ, for his Noble Family. In other words, when
Huzoor e Akram ﷺasked this question to both of them, He ﷺdid
this, so that until Qiyaamat the Muslims may understand the
grandness and the excellence and the superiority of Hazrat Abu Bakr
Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہin every manner.
In other words, if the Beloved Nabi ﷺdid not ask either of them
about what they had left behind for their families, none would have
known the answer of Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہand none would have
known how great the sacrifices of both these Beloved Companions of
the Beloved Nabi ﷺwere on that Blessed Day. It was this, which
brought Hazrat Sayyiduna Umar ر ضی الہ ضنہto his final conclusion, in which
he said,
39
This, statement of Sayyiduna Umar e Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہconveys a very
powerful message to the world. In other words, Hazrat e Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہ
is saying that he realised on that day that he will never be able to
supersede Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہin virtues and excellence,
and this proves the Aqida of the Ahle Sunnat, that no matter how
great even a Wali may be, he cannot reach the status of a Sahabi.
In these words of Umar e Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہis also a devastating blow to
the Deobandis who say that (Allah Forbid), As for the issue of deeds
(actions), then in this the Ummati occasionally appears to be equal
and sometimes even surpass the Prophets.
In other words, this statement of Hazrat Umar e Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہis
announcing that, when Hazrat Umar and all the Noble Sahaba e

Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن ضينcannot be equal in virtues and in deeds to Hazrat
Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ, then how can anyone ever think about being
equal to or surpassing a Nabi in any way. This statement of Sayyiduna
Umar ر ضی الہ ضنہis further announcing that those who make such
statements are evil deviants and they are not on the path of the

Beloved Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن ضين.
This Hadith Shareef also proves that the Beloved Rasool ﷺhas been
blessed with knowledge of the unseen and He ﷺis aware of the
condition of the hearts of the people, and that nothing is hidden from
Nabi Kareem ﷺ, even if it is only something which one thinks about
in his or her heart. Murshid e Kareem Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah
ر ضی الہ ننہbeautifully says,
40
This entire discussion tells us how devoted Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہwas
and how he was always willing to sacrifice everything upon the Call of
The Beloved Rasool ﷺ. Ustadh e Zaman Allama Hasan ر ضی الہ ضنہportrays
this devotion in a splendid manner. He says,
Many Times, In The True Path, He Sacrificed His Home In Love & Devotion
Hasan! So Many Sacrifices, Gave Birth To The Mansion of Siddique e Akbar

COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATIONS
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam e Ahle Sunnat Ash Shah Imam Ahmed Raza
Khan ر ضی الہ ننہhas presented here a beautiful couplet from the Mathnawi
Shareef of Imam Jalaalud’deen Rumi ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
The Mathnawi Shareef of Sayyiduna Imam Jalaalud’deen Rumi ر ضی الہ ضنہis
one of the most beautiful and spiritually enlightening books in Pure
Sufi Poetry, with each couplet conveying the message of True Love
for Almighty Allah and His Beloved Rasool ﷺ.
Hazrat Sayyiduna Imam Jalaalud’deen Rumi ر ضی الہ ضنہis a renowned Sufi
and a celebrated Sufi Poet. He is indeed from amongst the Awliya
Allah and spent his entire life absorbed in the Love of Almighty Allah
and His Beloved Rasool ﷺ.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat showed immense love and
reverence to Hazrat Imam Jalaalud’deen Rumi ر ضی الہ ضنہ. He always
addressed him with words of honour and with grand titles.
In one of his Fataawa he refers to Imam Jalaalud’deen Rumi ر ضی الہ ضنہwith
the following words, A Grand Personality, A Grand Pillar of The
Ulama and Pious Ones, The Elite One Amongst The Mystics, And The
Awliya, Maulavi, Ma’nawi Sayyidi Jalaalul Millati Wad-Deen Rumi.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہis explaining the beauty of
the message and the beauty of the poetry of Imam Jalaalud’deen
Rumi ر ضی الہ ضنہ. In other words, his eloquence was such that he presented
an entire narration in a single couplet.
So, in this couplet of Sayyiduna Imam Jalaalud’deen Rumi ر ضی الہ ضنہwe are
able to observe the love and the respect which Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu
Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہdisplayed in the Grand Court of Sayyiduna
Rasoolullah ﷺ. We are also able to understand the humility which
Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہexhibited, whilst in the Holy
Presence of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
This couplet of Imam Jalaalud’deen Suyuti ر ضی الہ ضنہis conveying many
important messages to the seekers of true love. It is telling us that,
1. Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہis the one who was given the
good fortune of having our Master, Sayyiduna Bilal e Habshi ر ضی الہ ضنہ
freed from his evil slave masters.
44
2. The Grand Respect and Honour which Sayyiduna Abu Bakr
Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہdisplayed, while he presented himself in the Grand
Court of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
3. The sincerity and humility of Hazrat Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ
ننہ, for when he went into the Grand Court of Nabi Kareem ﷺafter
having Sayyiduna Bilal ر ضی الہ ضنہfreed from Umayya, he did not say, I have
come after freeing Bilal ر ضی الہ ضنہ, but he said, We are both slaves of Your
Court.
4. After having freed Sayyiduna Bilal ر ضی الہ ضنہ, Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی
الہ نن ہmade his intentions very clear. He clearly stated that he had
Hazrat Bilal ر ضی الہ ضنہfreed for the sake of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ.

This was indeed the manner of the Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن ضينand
Grand Sahaba e Kiraam like Hazrat Umar e Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہalso imitated
this manner of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہand this is why once
while standing on the Mimbar (Pulpit), Hazrat Umar e Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہ
declared,
45

Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنalso presents another couplet of Hazrat
Jalaalud’deen Rumi ر ضی الہ ضنہand says,
  رااں د ہ د اا دررد
46
A detailed discussion regarding one referring to himself as the ‘Abd’
(i.e. the slave and servant) of Nabi Kareem ﷺcan be perused in the
Fataawa Africa of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
In other words, Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہas per his habit and as per
the manner of Hazrat Sayyiduna Has’saan ibn Thaabit ر ضی الہ ضنہ, is refuting
the deviants (badmazhabs), and in doing so, he is saying that let’s
now see what these evil deviants have to say about this couplet of
Imam Jalaalud’deen Rumi ر ضی الہ ضنہ, and let’s see what they will do after
seeing what Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar is saying about himself and
Sayyiduna Bilal ر ضی الہ ضاin the Court of The Grand King, Sayyiduna
Rasoolullah ﷺ.
In other words, Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that these deviants
will still try to find some excuse so that they can forbid the Muslims
from referring to themselves as the slaves of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, but
they will never be successful, no matter how much they leap and no
matter how much they burn in their fury and envy, for this manner
has been verified by the ‘Best Amongst The Best’.
This is why Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہ says when
addressing the deviants in one of his Kalaams:
47

COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATIONS
Regarding Hazrat Sayyiduna Ibn Ab’bas ر ضی الہ ضنہ, Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush
Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہsays, Hazrat Ibn Ab’bas ر ضی الہ ضیھاis a Sahabi of Huzoor ﷺ
and he is the fortunate one who was blessed with immense
blessings from the Court of Huzoor ﷺ. He was the son of Ab’bas Ibn
Abdul Mut’talib who was the paternal uncle of Sarkaar e Do Aalam
ﷺ. He was also a Great Faqih (Expert Jurist) and a Grand
In other words, this statement of Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn Ab’bas ر ضی الہ ضیھا
is telling us about the authenticity of the poetry of Hazrat Sayyiduna
Has’saan ibn Thaabit ر ضی الہ ضنہand this is also clear proof, that to cite and
recite the poetry and the words of reliable and authentic scholars of
Deen as evidence, in order to explain the grandness of the pious and
to extract the messages of guidance from them, is permissible and
the manner of the Sahaba e Kiraam, such as the Great Faqih and
Mufas’sir, Hazrat Sayyiduna Abdullah Ibn Ab'bas ر ضی الہ ضیھا.
It is very clear here that he directed those who asked him the
question, towards the couplets written by Sayyiduna Has’saan Ibn
Thaabit ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
52

This once again proves that the Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن ضينregarded
what he presented as authentic, for he was blessed with presenting
his couplets in the Grand Court of Nabi Kareem ﷺand this is the
most powerful seal and stamp of his reliability and the authenticity of
his blessed poems.
Now, if one studies the couplets of Hazrat Has’saan Ibn Thaabit ر ضی الہ ضنہ
one would notice that Hazrat Has’saan ibn Thaabit ر ضی الہ ضنہwas
explaining the following things about Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ:
1. The Grand Excellence of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہand about
how much he strived for the Pleasure of Almighty Allah and His
Beloved Rasool ﷺ.
2. Whenever you face affliction in the way of Allah and His Beloved
Rasool ﷺ, remember the sacrifices of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی
الہ نن ہ, for he was the trustworthy person who fought through afflictions
and accomplished all that he wished for, in the love of Almighty Allah
and His Beloved Rasool ﷺ.
3. He affirms that after the Beloved Nabi ( ﷺand all the Ambia and

Mursaleen ) یم وۃۃ وم, the greatest amongst the entire creation is Hazrat
Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
53
This is why Hazrat Sufi Jameel e Qaadiri ر ضی الہ ضنہ beautifully says about
the Hijrat,

Sadrul Afaadil further presents the following Ruling and Law: (He
says), This verse proves the Sahabiyat of Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr
Siddique ( ر ضی الہ ضنہi.e. that he is indeed a Sahabi). Hasan bin Fadhl said,
The one who rejects the Sahabiyat of Hazrat Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ, is
a rejecter of a Qur’anic Dictum, and has thus become a Kaafir
(unbeliever).
Sadrul Afaadil further says that (by saying this) Sayyid e Aalam ﷺ
While discussing the verse of the Holy Qur’an and the translation of
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہ, I must point out the beautiful choice of
words used by the Great Imam. He says,
غ

  االلّٰه ررے ساا
Whilst The Two of Them Were The Only Two Souls In the Cave;
When He Would Say To His Most Beloved Companion, Do Not Be
Distressed! Verily, Allah Is With Us.
55
Here, the word which Sayyidi Aala Hazrat used is ‘Jaan’ which means
‘Soul’ or ‘person’ etc. and his choice of the word ‘Soul’ was to also
show that the Nabi ﷺis indeed the ‘Soul’, and Hazrat Abu Bakr
Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہis the Manifestation of ‘The Soul’.
He Is The Soul, How Can The Soul Be Seen (By An Ordinary Being)?
So Around The Cave, Why Are His Enemies Aimlessly Wandering
The Second Narration: Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Azeem ul Barkat ر ضی الہ ضنہ
presents a second narration from Ibn Abdul Birr, wherein he says in
Al Isti’aab that that there is a narration wherein it is reported that,
Rasoolullah ﷺsaid to Has’saan (Ibn Thaabit), Did you say anything
about Abu Bakr (i.e. any couplet)? Hazrat Has’saan said, ‘Yes’, and
he recited these couplets to Huzoor ﷺ.
56
Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہand so he immediately recited the beautiful
couplets in praise of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہand The Beloved
Rasool ﷺwas pleased and commended him by saying, O Has’saan!
You Have Done Well!
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہthen says that Hazrat Sayyiduna Has’saan Ibn
Thaabit ر ضی الہ ضنہalso recited a fifth couplet which is:
Now, even from this couplet, it is clear that Hazrat Has’saan Ibn
Thaabit ر ضی الہ ضنہannounced that, which was the Aqida of all the Noble

Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن ضينand he declared that, which is the belief
of all the Muslims, even till this day. In other words, he declared that
only if you truly regard Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہas the most unique
Companion and the Most Beloved Companion of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, do
you truly love Rasoolullah ﷺ, for none was regarded by Nabi ﷺas
being like Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
57
This, in itself is proof, that to compose and recite Manqabats etc. in
praise of the Sahaba e Kiraam ر ضی الہ ضنہand the Awliya e Izaam, has been
the manner of the Muslims, and Praise be to Allah, this Kalaam of
Hazrat Has’saan Ibn Thaabit ر ضی الہ ضنہis the foundation of such
compositions, which are written and recited in the love and in tribute
to the Pious Servants of Allah.
Thus, those who oppose the remembrance of the pious, should know
that Sayyiduna Has’saan Ibn Thaabit ر ضی الہ ضنہtaught us this blessed way,
and the Beloved Nabi ﷺcommended him for doing so. In fact, the
Beloved Nabi ﷺHimself asked him if had said anything (i.e.
composed anything) about Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ. So, not only did the
Nabi ﷺcommend this, but He ﷺalso encouraged it.

THE SIXTH REFLECTION
A MAGNIFICENT NARRATION
ABOUT SIDDIQUE E AKBAR'S INTERCESSION
I (Imam Ahmed Raza )ر ضی الہ ضنہsay, that this was also reported from
Hazrat Anas bin Maalik ر ضی الہ ضنہ, just as Imam ‘Adi narrated it in Kaamil,
with his own chain (of transmission, which read as follows):
59
He said, It was reported to us from Abu Kareem Shahr-zoori. It was
reported to us by Isma’eel bin Mas’adah bin Jurjaani. It was reported
to us by Abul Qaasim Hamzah bin Yusuf Sahmi Jurjaani and Abu Amr
Abdur Rahmaan bin Muhammad Al Farsi, and Abu Ahmad Abdullah
bin ‘Adi Jurjaani narrated to us a Hadith (and) Husain bin Abdul
Ghaf’far Al ‘Azdi narrated to us a Hadith (and) Sa’eed bin Katheer bin
‘Ufayr reported to all of us a Hadith, that Fadhl bin Mukhtar reported
from Ab’baan (and) He reported from Anasر ضی الہ ضنہ. He said that
Rasoolullah ﷺsaid to (Hazrat) Abu Bakr ر ضی الہ ضنہ,

COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATIONS
Hazrat Sayyiduna Anas bin Maalik ر ضی الہ ضنہthe primary narrator of this
Hadith Shareef is a Beloved Sahabi of the Beloved Rasool ﷺ. Huzoor
Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہsays about Hazrat Sayyiduna Anas Ibn
Maalik ر ضی الہ ضنہthat,
Anas Ibn Maalik ر ضی الہ ضنہis a distinguished and great Sahabi. He was a
Special Khaadim of Huzoor ( ﷺi.e. He was one of those fortunate
enough to have served Nabi Kareem ﷺas a duly appointed
Khaadim).
He personally said, for ten years I remained in the service of Huzoor
ﷺ, (but such was the blessing of Huzoor )ﷺthat He ﷺdid not
Through this Dua of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, he was blessed with so many
children that he says, In my lifetime I buried ninety-eight of my own
children. The blessings of the Dua of Sarkaar ﷺwas such, that his
orchard would bear fruit twice (instead of once). He had in his garden
a rose which emitted the fragrance of musk.
61
We are able to once again observe from this narration how much the
Beloved Rasool ﷺloved Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ. Some very
important points can also be understood from this Hadith Shareef.
62
3. The female camel which Nabi Kareem ﷺjourneyed on during the
Hijrat was also through the kindness of Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr
Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ. In saying this, Nabi Kareem ﷺwas in fact honouring
Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہfor being the apparent means to His ﷺ
successful journey during the Hijrat.
4. The Beloved Daughter of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ,
Sayyidatuna Ummul Momineen A’isha Siddiqa ر ضی الہ ضاis the Beloved
Wife of Nabi Kareem ﷺ. So, Nabi Kareem ﷺis once again showing
how sincere and devoted Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہwas, that he
even gave the hand of his beloved daughter in the Mubaarak Hand of
Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
5. The Beloved Nabi ﷺis speaking about how Hazrat Abu Bakr
Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہwas at all times willing to sacrifice his wealth and his
life in His ﷺLove.
There are numerous instances when Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ
gave all his wealth for the Pleasure of Almighty Allah and His Beloved
Rasool ﷺ, and on numerous instances, he risked his own life, for the
Life and the Honour of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
This was a time when any other person would have died due to the
potency of the venom of that particular snake, but Hazrat Abu Bakr
Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہsurvived because Nabi Kareem ﷺplaced His ﷺSacred
Saliva on the Blessed Toe of Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ. The reality is that
during that blessed moment, Hazrat Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہhad
already given his life in the Love of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ.
63
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Azeem ul Barkat ر ضی الہ ضن ہ beautifully explains this by
saying,
Manifesting the blessings of his Murshid Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ننہ,
6. The Beloved Rasool ﷺsaid to Hazrat Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہthat, It
Is As If I Am Looking At You Standing At The Gate of Jannat
(Paradise), Interceding For My Ummat.
When The Beloved Nabi ﷺsays that, ‘it is as if’, then it means that
He ﷺis not just saying this but He ﷺis already seeing Hazrat Abu
Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہstanding at the Gate of Paradise interceding for
His ﷺUmmah.
So, this is a clear message for the deviants especially the Raafdhis
who slander Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ, and on the Day of
Qiyaamat, when he stands at the Gate of Jannat, only those who
truly love Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہwill enter, and only they will be given
admission into Holy Paradise.
64
This is the Grand Status of the Companion of The Cave, who was
willing to sacrifice his life and everything else in the love of his
Master, Sayyid e Aalam ﷺand this is why Nabi Kareem ﷺpraised
him in the above mentioned narration in such a beautiful manner, for
none other can truly praise him for what he did for the sake of Deen
e Islam and in the Service of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
65
THE SEVENTH REFLECTION
SIDDIQUE E AKBAR’S HAND,
IS IN THE BELOVED NABI’S SACRED HAND ﷺ
Our Imam and the Imam of the entire Ahle Sunnat, Sayyidi Aala
Hazrat Ash Shah Imam Ahmed Raza Khan Qaadiri Barakaati ر ضی الہ ضنہso
beautifully says in Fataawa Razviyyah Shareef about our Master and
the Master of our Masters, The Most Beloved of The Most Beloved
Rasool ﷺ, Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ:
At The Age of Sixteen, He (Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique )ر ضی الہ ضنہHeld
The Sacred Feet of Huzoor Pur Noor Sayyid e ‘Aalam ( ﷺi.e. He
Attached Himself To Nabi Kareem )ﷺ, And Held Firmly To Them,
For The Rest of His Life. Even Now, He Is Resting Beside The Holy
Presence (And) On The Day of Qiyaamat, He Will Rise With His Hand
In The Sacred Hand of Huzoor ( ﷺAnd) Like A Shadow, He Will Enter
Into The Heights of Paradise, Together With Him ﷺ. When Huzoor e
Aqdas Announced His ﷺProphethood, He Immediately Brought
Imaan (Believed) Without The Slightest Hesitation.
Thus, Hazrat Sayyiduna Imam Abul Hasan Ash’ari ر ضی الہ ضنہsays,
Always Remained Seeking The
Pleasure of Sarkaar e Aqdas ﷺ. [Fataawa Razviyyah Shareef,

COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATIONS
Here, Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہis giving a short but amazingly perfect
account of the life of Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ. It
seems as if Sayyidi e Aala Hazrat Azeem ul Barkat ر ضی الہ ضنہis gathering an
entire ocean into a goblet. He is making some very important points
in this short but informative statement, which flows and glows with
the love for Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
In saying this, Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Azeem ul Barkat ر ضی الہ ضنہis paying
tribute to the loyalty and the devotion of Hazrat Sayyiduna Siddique
e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ. While doing this, Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہis also
teaching us a very important lesson. He is telling us that this is the
unmatched and supreme love which Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہhad for
Nabi Kareem ﷺ, for Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہtruly understood the
meaning of attaining success in this world and in the hereafter.
67
In other words, Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Azeem ul Barkat ر ضی الہ ضنہis telling us,
that if we wish to understand the means to success and salvation in
this world and in the hereafter, then we should follow the Blessed
Footsteps of that Blessed Personality, who attached his life and his
soul to the Sacred Feet of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, without erring in this
devotion for even a single moment. He knew well that he would get
whatever he wished for, through Nabi Kareem ﷺ, and this is the
message which Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Azeem ul Barkat is conveying to
the Muslim Ummah in his above mentioned statement of Fataawa
Razviyyah Shareef.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Azeem ul Barkat ر ضی الہ ضنہis in fact telling us, that
Hazrat Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہwas so absorbed in the Love
of Nabi Kareem ﷺfrom a young age, that he sacrificed everything
for Aaqa e Do Aalam ﷺand he knew that better than anyone else,
that remaining attached to the Sacred Feet of Nabi Kareem ﷺwould
grant him a special place here and in the hereafter.
In other words, Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہwas humbling
himself at the Sacred Feet of Nabi Kareem ﷺand announcing, that if
you wish to reach the heights of true success, then hold firmly to the
Sacred Feet of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, for this is The Grand Gateway to The
Court of Almighty Allah, and This is The Grant Gateway to true
success and salvation. Thus, Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہsays,
Ba-Khuda, Khuda Ka Yahi Hai Dar Nahiñ Awr Ko-ee Mafar Maqar
Jo Wahaañ Se Ho Yahiñ Aa Ke Ho Jo Yahaañ Nahiñ To Wahaañ Nahiñ
68
Apart from all the other blessings which Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہwill
receive on the Day of Qiyaamat, for his kindness and generosity,
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہis also speaking about that unique and
beautiful reward which he has been blessed with and which is
incomparable. What is this special reward and blessing? It is that
even till this day, he is resting beside Rasool e Akram Noor e
Mujassam ﷺ, and he will be blessed with rising on the Day of
Qiyaamat with his hand in the Sacred Hand of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, and
he will enter into Jannat with Nabi Kareem ﷺlike a shadow.
The Beloved Rasool ﷺWill Be The First To Rise From His ﷺBlessed
Rauda e Anwar. He ﷺWill Rise With The Hand of Hazrat Abu Bakr
Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ. In His ﷺRight Hand And The Hand of Hazrat Umar
eFarooq ر ضی الہ ضنہ. In His ﷺLeft Hand, Followed By All The Muslims
Buried In The Holy Cemeteries of Makkah Mukarramah And
Madinatul Munaw’wara. The Beloved Rasool ﷺWill Take All of
Them With Him And Walk Towards The ‘Plains of Resurrection’.
In the last portion of the text which I have presented from Sayyidi
Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہ, the Great Imam presents the statement of Hazrat
Sayyiduna Imam Abul Hasan Ash’ari ر ضی الہ ضنہin which he says, Hazrat Abu
Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہAlways Remained Seeking The Pleasure of
Sarkaar e Aqdas ﷺ.
69
This statement of Sayyiduna Abul Hasan Ash’ari ر ضی الہ ضنہsupports the
description of Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہand the
purpose of his life which Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہbeautifully
presented.
This is why Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہfollows up the description with
the Blessed Statement of Hazrat Abul Hasan Ash’ari ر ضی الہ ضنہ, which
affirms that whatever Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہdid in
his entire life, was to seek the pleasure of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
He did this, for he knew better than all others, that in the Pleasure of
Nabi Kareem ﷺis The Pleasure of Almighty Allah, and thus he spent
his entire life attached to the Sacred Feet of Nabi Kareem ﷺand he
remained seeking the Pleasure of Sayyiduna wa Maulana Muhammad
Mustafa ﷺ.
This is also what Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہtaught all his life. It was this
message of Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ننہwhich he
expounded, when he so eloquently said,
Both The Worlds Are Yearning, For The Pleasure of Almighty Allah
The Pleasure of Almighty Allah, Is In What Pleases Muhammad ﷺ
70
THE EIGHTH REFLECTION
COME TO ABU BAKR SIDDIQUE WHEN YOU
DO NOT FIND ME, SAID THE BELOVED NABI ﷺ
The First Narration: (Hazrat) Anas ر ضی الہ ضنہstates, The Bani Al Mustaliq
sent me in the Court of Huzoor Sayyidul Mursaleen ( ﷺi.e. The
Leader of The Rasools) so that I may enquire from Huzoor ﷺabout
whom we should send our Zakaat Funds to, after Huzoor ( ﷺdeparts
from this physical world). He ﷺsaid, To Abu Bakr.
71
She said, What happens if I come and I do not find Huzoor ( ﷺi.e.
what if You have journeyed from this world)? The Beloved
Rasool ﷺsaid, If You Do Not Find Me, Then Come To Abu Bakr.
72
COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATIONS
In this narration, Sayyiduna Anas ر ضی الہ ضنہis saying that they sent him to
Nabi Kareem ﷺto ask about whom they should pay their Zakaat
Funds to after Nabi Kareem ﷺdeparted from this physical world,
and the Beloved Rasool ﷺsaid that it should be paid to Hazrat Abu
Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
When it was asked about what should be done after Hazrat Abu Bakr
ر ضی الہ ضنہ, He ﷺcommanded that it be paid to Hazrat Umar ر ضی الہ ضنہand He
ﷺstated that after him, it should be given to Hazrat Uthman ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہhas brought this narration as one of the
many narrations which he presented to prove that Hazrat Abu Bakr
Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہis indeed the First Khalifa of the Muslims and that
Hazrat Umar ر ضی الہ ضنہcame after him and then Hazrat Uthman ر ضی الہ ضنہand
then Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
From this, we are once again able to understand the exalted position
which Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہhas been afforded in the Grand
Court of The Beloved Rasool ﷺ.
By Nabi Kareem first saying, ‘Abu Bakr’, it does not only show that he
is the First Khalifa of the Muslims after Nabi Kareem ﷺ, but it also
once again shows the Ilm e Ghaib of Nabi Kareem ﷺ. The Beloved
73
Rasool ﷺdid not say, give it to whoever you find, but He clearly said,
To Abu Bakr. This means that the Beloved Nabi Kareem ﷺalready
knew that indeed after Him ﷺ, when the people come to sort out
their affairs, they will come to Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ, for he
will be on the Grand Position of the Khalifa of The Beloved Rasool ﷺ.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہthen strengthens this true
position by presenting another Hadith Shareef which has been
reported by Imam Bukhari and Imam Muslim ر ضی الہ ضیھا, which is on the
authority of Hazrat Jubair bin Mut’imر ضی الہ ضنہ.
Hazrat Jubair bin Mut’im ر ضی الہ ضنہis a Beloved Sahabi of The Beloved
Rasool ﷺ. His Blessed Name is Jubair and his appellation is Abu
Muhammad. Amongst his famous students are Naafi’ bin Jubair,
Muhammad bin Jubair, Sulaiman bin Sard bin Musay’yib and Ibrahim
bin Abdur Rahmaan bin Awf etc. There are approximately sixty-five
Ahadith in the Books of Hadith which are narrated by him. He learnt
Ilm ul Ansaab (i.e. The Science of Genealogy) from Hazrat Sayyiduna
Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہand he was an expert in this science.
[Tahzeeb ut Tahzeeb]
From this Hadith, Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہbrings
proof that Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہis the First Khalifa
of the Muslims.
74
From this discussion, The Blessed Sequence of the Khulafa of The
Beloved Rasool ﷺis once again affirmed. It must also be noted that,
by the Beloved Rasool ﷺasking those who asked about this
situation, to go to Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہand so on and so
forth, it means that the Beloved Rasool ﷺwas also telling the
Sahaba e Kiraam and the entire Ummah, that these will be the ones
who will stand firm in the matters of Deen and through them, all your
affairs will be resolved and the enemies will not be able to get a
foothold against you, for as long as they are your leaders, and thus,
the darkness of Kufr will further be alleviated and brightness will
prevail through this blessed Chain of Light.

from Mansoor bin Mu’tamir. He reported from Ibrahim. He reported
from Hazrat Alqama ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
Hazrat Alqama ر ضی الہ ضنہsays, Ameer ul Momineen (Maula Ali) Kar’ram
Allahu Wajha-hu received information that some people were saying
that he is more superior to Hazrat Siddique and Hazrat Farooq ر ضی الہ ضیھا.
After hearing this, he ascended the Mimbar (Pulpit). After Praising
and Glorifying Allah, he said,
He (Maula Ali) then said, Indeed after Nabi ﷺ, the most superior in
the Ummah is Abu Bakr, thereafter Umar and Allah Knows Best who
is most superior after them.
Alqama ر ضی الہ ضنہsays, Sayyiduna Imam Hasan Mujtaba ر ضی الہ ضنہwas also
present in that gathering. He (Hazrat Imam Hasan) said, By Allah! If
he were to take the name of a third person, he would have taken

the name of Uthman ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن نين. [Fataawa Razviyyah Shareef, Vol.28,
Pages 480-481, With Reference To Izaalatul Khafa ‘An Khilaafatil
Khulafa]
77
COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATIONS
The Primary Narrator of this Hadith is Hazrat Sayyiduna Alqama ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
He was a Taabi’ee and was blessed with attaining blessings from
numerous Sahaba e Kiraam, amongst whom are, Hazrat Umar, Hazrat

Uthman, Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud etc. ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن ضين.
We are able to observe in this narration that Hazrat Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہ
did not tolerate any disrespect against Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ
or any of the other Khulafa of Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ.
It is very clear from this narration that when he heard about those
who were saying that he is more superior to Hazrat Abu Bakr
Siddique and Hazrat Umar e Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہ, he convened an assembly
and stood on the Mimbar, and while standing on the Mimbar (Pulpit),
he declared his judgement, which was binding then and which is
binding now.
This statement of Sayyiduna Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہshould be a lesson to those who
make claims like those who made such claims in that era. Such
people should know that they have no value in the Court of Maula Ali
ر ضی الہ ضنہand on the Day of Qiyaamat they will deprived of the pleasure
The displeasure of Sayyiduna Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہis clear in this decree which he
announced from his Mimbar. It can be seen that not only did Maula
78
Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہpublicly announce his decree, but he also publicly announced
his view and his stance on the issue of the Khilafat by saying, Indeed,
After Nabi ﷺ, The Most Superior In The Ummah Is Abu Bakr,
Thereafter is Umar And Allah Knows Best Who Is Most Superior
After Them.
Thereafter, the words of Hazrat Alqama ر ضی الہ ضنہfurther proves that this
stance of Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ننہregarding Hazrat Abu Bakr ر ضی الہ ضنہand Hazrat
Umar ر ضی الہ ضنہand the Sequence of The Khilaafat, was supported by the
Noble House of Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہas well. This is why Hazrat Alqama ر ضی الہ ضنہ
further says that Hazrat Sayyiduna Imam Hasan ر ضی الہ ضنہwas also present
there when Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہdeclared this decree and he said that if
Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہwere to mention a third person, then he would have
surely mentioned Hazrat Uthman ر ضی الہ ضنہ. Now, this further proves that
this Blessed Sequence was also well-known by the Beloved Sons of
Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہand it is this which led to the affirmation by Sayyiduna
Imam Hasan Mujtaba ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
It is thus the Aqida of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jama’at that we should

follow the consensus of the Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن ضينand we
should accept all the Khulafa of Nabi Kareem ﷺas per the Grand
Status which has been afforded to each. We should never speak or
even think ill about any one of the Khulafa or any Sahabi of Nabi
Kareem ﷺ, for these Grand Khulafa spent their lives in the
Honourable Service of Nabi Kareem ﷺand as The Nightingales of
The Blessed Court, they spent their days and nights in the Love of
Nabi Kareem ﷺ. Sufi Jameel e Qaadiri beautifully says,

COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATIONS
The First Narration: The first is about a brief yet amazing discussion
which took place in the Holy Court of Sayyid e Saj’jaad Hazrat
Sayyiduna Imam Zainul Aabideen ر ضی الہ ضنہ. It must be noted that
Sayyiduna Imam Zainul Aabideen’s Blessed Name is in fact Ali bin
Husain ر ضی الہ ضنہ. Hazrat Sayyiduna Imam Zainul Aabideen ر ضی الہ ضنہis the
Beloved Son of Sayyiduna Imam Husain ر ضی الہ ضنہ, so that makes him the
Noble Grandson of Sayyidatuna Faatima Zahra ر ضی الہ ضاand Maula Ali ر ضی الہ
ننہ. He is the personality who survived the Battle of Karbala by the
Imam Zainul Aabideen ر ضی الہ ضنہis that personality about whom Imam
Zuhri ر ضی الہ ضنہsays, (In my era) I have not seen any Quraish more
excellent than Imam Zainul Aabideenر ضی الہ ضنہ. Hazrat Sayyiduna Ibn
Ab’bas ر ضی الہ ضیھاused to look at Imam Zainul Aabideen ر ضی الہ ضنہand refer to
him as ‘The Beloved of The Beloved’.
His Beloved Grandson, Hazrat Sayyiduna Imam Ja’far As Saadiqر ضی الہ ضنہ
says that, When my Noble Grandfather, Hazrat Imam Zainul
Aabideen ر ضی الہ ضنہwould recite the Holy Quran, then the beauty of his
recitation attracted the people towards him, and all those listening
to him would become so overwhelmed (profoundly absorbed) with
the fear of Allah, that each would not know the condition of the
other.
82
It is this Noble Personality, who is being mentioned in this Narration,
and it is he who was asked about the Grand Position of Sayyiduna
Abu Bakr and Sayyiduna Umar ر ضی الہ ضیھاin The Grand Court of Sayyiduna
Rasoolullah ﷺ, and he responded by saying,
The Distinguished Student of Imam Azam Abu Hanifa ر ضی الہ ضنہ, Hazrat
Sayyiduna Imam Qaazi Abu Yusuf ر ضی الہ ضنہsays, I asked Imam Abu

So Beautifully, That Never Before Have I Heard Anyone Explain It In
This Manner.

Zahra ر ضی الہ ضاand they claim love for the Ahle Bayt of Nabi Kareem ﷺ,
yet they shamelessly slander the Sahaba e Kiraam of Nabi Kareem ﷺ
and they make Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہone of the main targets
of their disrespectful and evil attacks.
This Narration should serve as an eye opener for those who claim to
be ‘Sunni’ and still try to defend those who slander the Sahaba e

true lovers and the true devotees of the Ahle Bayt e Athaar.
Hazrat Sufi Jameel e Qaadiri ر ضی الہ ضنہconveys this message in a very clear
and direct tone. He says,
For His Noble Family, Futile Is His Claim of Love & Affection
To Siddique e Akbar’s Khilaafat, If He Shows Any Opposition

COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATIONS
Here as well, we have two more Narrations which Sayyidi Aala Hazrat
Imam Ahle e Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہquoted regarding the superiority which has
been bestowed upon Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہand Hazrat Umar
e Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہfollowed by Hazrat Sayyiduna Umar e Farooq ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
This narration supports the numerous other narrations in which
Hazrat Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہproclaims the grandness of Hazrat Sayyiduna
Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
In these narrations, we have the blessed statement of Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہ
which is being reported by his Noble Son Hazrat Muhammad Ibn
Hanafiyahر ضی الہ ضنہ.
The second Narration from Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہfurther emphasises that,
this was always the view and the stance of Hazrat Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہwhen it
came to the Afzaliy’yat of Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
In other words, we should observe the love which the Grand Khulafa
had for one another, and we should observe with the eyes of love,
how they always praised and paid tribute to one another. The

statements of the Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن ضينshould always echo in
our hearts and in our ears. We should always remember that after

Nabi Kareem ﷺand all the Ambia e Kiraam يم مHazrat Sayyiduna
Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہis granted the most exalted position in the
Deen of Allah and His Beloved Rasool ﷺ, and no matter what anyone
says or does, they can never take away this honour which has been
afforded to him.
We must thus love him and all the Khulafa and all the Sahaba e

Kiraam ر ض ضوان ا تناى يم ا جن نينas we have been commanded to, and we should do
so without transgressing any limits.
88
Each of us must understand that, each of them have been blessed
with a Special Distinction, and all of them have been blessed with
Special Degrees of Honesty, Integrity and Dignity and a position
which is Saintly. This is why Hazrat Sufi Jameel ur Rahmaan Qaadiri یی ہ

THE TWELFTH REFLECTION
SIDDIQUE E AKBAR'S POSITION, IN THE
EYES OF THE MASTERS OF OUR NATION
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہquotes the following narration to further
prove the superiority of Hazrat Abu Bakr ر ضی الہ ضنہ:
Imam Abul Hasan Daraqutni reports from Jundub ‘Asadi that some
people from Kufa and Jazeera visited Imam Muhammad bin Abdullah

Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہfurther explains:

His Blessed Appellation is 'Nafs e Zakiyyah' (A Very Pious Personality).
His Noble Father Hazrat Abdullah Mahaz is the first person who was

COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATIONS
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Azeem ul Barkat ر ضی الہ ضنہhas given a beautiful
introduction to Hazrat Muhammad bin Abdullah Mahaz bin Hasan
Muthan’na bin Hasan Mujtaba bin Ali e Murtadhaر ضی الہ ننہ.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہis giving this concise, yet powerful
introduction to this great Imam, so that we may understand that
such a great Imam, who is the paternal grandson of Hazrat Sayyiduna
Imam Hasan ر ضی الہ ضنہand the maternal grandson of Hazrat Imam Aali
Maqaam, Sayyiduna Imam e Husain ر ضی الہ ضنہand the Noble Son of Hazrat
Sayyiduna Imam Abdullah Mahaz ر ضی الہ ضنہis the one who is narrating this
Blessed Narration.
The great Imam made it very clear that according to him Hazrat Abu
Bakr and Hazrat Umar ر ضی الہ ضیھاhave been blessed with the Grandest
Position (after Nabi Kareem )ﷺ.
This again, is a narration from ‘The House of The Most Noble Ones’,
and this is once again a refutation of the Raafdhis, who spend all of
their energy attacking Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہand
numerous other Companions of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
Jama’at. Those who slander even a single Companion of Nabi Kareem
ﷺare deviants and have gone astray, and such people and such
92
sects are indeed distant from The Mercy of Almighty Allah and they
are deprived from the Intercession of His Most Beloved Nabi ﷺ.

THE THIRTEENTH REFLECTION
THE CONSENSUS OF THE MEN OF EMINENCE
ON THE MATTERS OF PRE-EMINENCE
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam e Ahle Sunnat Ash Shah Imam Ahmed Raza

the Fuqaha and all those on the path of righteousness, as follows:
And There Is Consensus Upon This, That After The Ambia, The

COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATION
In this discussion, Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Azeem ul Barkat ر ضی الہ ضنہis
presenting evidence on the Grandness of Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar
ر ضی الہ ضنہfrom the work of another distinguished and renowned
Hazrat Sayyiduna Meer Sayyid Abdul Waahid Bilgirami ر ضی الہ ضنہis a great
Wali and was renowned as one of the greatest Sufis of his era. He
was a true Darvesh and was a powerful Spiritual Master to those
whose hearts were in need of spiritual enlightenment. He was known
amongst the expert Scholars as ‘Sanad ul Muhaq’qiqeen’. He
departed from this world on the 3rd of Ramadaan ul Mubaarak and
his Blessed Mazaar Shareef is in Bilgiram Shareef.
There is indeed no sense in this, and there are no grounds for holding
such appalling views and thoughts. This is why Hazrat Sayyid Meer
Abdul Waahid Bilgirami, A Pure Sayyid, made it very clear that this in
no way proves any flaw or weakness.

COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATION
This is another splendid narration from Hazrat Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ننہand in
this narration Sayyiduna Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہis once again, personally
paying tribute to Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہand
describing some of the unique traits and blessings which Hazrat
Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ننہreceived.
Hazrat Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہsays that these are those blessed traits and
qualities, by which Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہsurpassed him as
well. He also speaks about Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہpublicly
declaring his Islam. This public declaration proves the bravery and the
courage of Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ, that he did not
care about what the Kuffar e Makkah said or did, all he cared about
was the Deen of Almighty Allah, which he had received through the
Sacred Hands of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
Hazrat Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہthen said that Hazrat Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ
made Hijrat before him. In other words, he is telling us that
Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺchose Hazrat Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ننہto make
Hijrat with him, while Sayyiduna Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہwas Commanded to rest in
the Mubaarak Bed of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
Even though Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہwas blessed with this Blessed Privilege
and Honour, he still says that Hazrat Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہwas the
fortunate one to make Hijrat before him.
In other words, he is saying that Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہwas
chosen by Almighty Allah and His Beloved Rasool ﷺto accompany
Nabi Kareem ﷺduring the migration from Makkah Mu’azzamah to
Madina Munawwarah.
101
Hazrat Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہis then mentioning another special Blessing which was
afforded to Hazrat Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ. In other words,
he is saying that Hazrat Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہwas the fortunate one
who became the Companion of The Cave of Nabi Kareem ﷺand a
verse of the Qur’an was revealed which mentions the Beloved Nabi
ﷺand His ﷺCompanion, and it further mentions the conversation
So again, Hazrat Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہis mentioning The Pre-Eminence of
Hazrat Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ, as he too regarded that
Companionship in the Cave to be a unique one.
He is also appreciating by this statement, that Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ننہ
attached himself like a shadow to Nabi Kareem ﷺall his life and
even during the Hijrat and while in the Cave with Nabi Kareem ﷺas
well.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Azeem ul Barkat ر ضی الہ ضنہconveys this message
eloquently in the following couplets of his world renowned Salaam,
Mustafa Jaan e Rahmat Pe Laakhoñ Salaam:
102
Ya’ani Us Afzal ul Khalq Ba’ad Ar-Rusul
Thaani-Yathnain e Hijrat Pe Laakhoñ Salaam
Finally, Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہmentions that he was very young when he
formally accepted Islam and kept his Islam concealed, as being a child
he would be shunned by the elders of his home, but this did not
mean that he was less devout, even at this young and tender age.
However, Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہsays that this honour of publicly declaring
his Islam was another special Blessing which was bestowed upon
Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
103
THE FIFTEENTH REFLECTION
THE REWARD OF SIDDIQUE E AKBAR'S SINCERITY
WILL BE GIVEN TO HIM, BY ALLAH ALMIGHTY
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہpresents this beautiful
narration in Fataawa Razviyyah Shareef:

الہ ننہ. He narrates from Nabi ( ﷺthat The Beloved Rasool ﷺsaid), I
have returned the favour of every person, except for that of Abu
Bakr, for upon Me is that favour of his, which Almighty Allah will
reward on the Day of Qiyaamat, for the wealth of none was as
beneficial to Me, as was the wealth of Abu Bakr, and If I were to
make anyone my Friend (Most Beloved) Then I Would Most
Certainly Make Abu Bakr My Friend. And Know! Your Master (Nabi
Muhammad )ﷺIs The Friend (Most Beloved) of Almighty Allah.

To Al Jaami’ut Tirmizi]
104
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat Radi Allahu Anhu presents yet
another beautiful narration. He says,
105
COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATION
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہsays, Hazrat Abu Hurairah ر ضی الہ ضنہ
personally explains why he was called Abu Hurairah. He says, I would
graze goats as a shepherd and in my sleeve I used to keep a cat which
I used to play with, so the people began to call me Abu Hurairah
‘Father of the Kitten’ and this became my epithet. According to one
view, it is reported that Huzoor Sarwar e Aalam ﷺsaw him playing
with a kitten so Huzoor ﷺkept his epithet Abu Hurairah. So, there
can be a connection and conformation in both these narrations, in
this sense that Huzoor Sarwar e Aalam ﷺfirst gave him this name. In
other words, there were others present in the same tent with Huzoor
ﷺ, close to where he used to graze the animals, so when Sarkaar ﷺ
saw him with the kitten, Sarkaar ﷺreferred to him as Abu Hurairah,
106
and it cannot be denied that, on listening to Sarkaar ﷺthe Sahaba
who were present there also followed in the manner of Sarkaar ﷺ
and called him Abu Hurairah, ‘The Father of The Kitten’. Thus, it
seems that Huzoor ﷺfirst referred to him by this name and the
others also preferred it and hence he became famous by this name.
[Duroos ul Bukhari Lil Imam Akhtar Raza Al Qaadiri]
When one looks at this Hadith Shareef, one will find once again, that
Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺis blessing Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ
with a special honour and distinction.
Who is there that can really do any favour upon Nabi Kareem ﷺ,
when the Noble Father of Sayyidatuna Faatima Batool, Who is Allah’s
Most Beloved Rasool ﷺis Himself, The Greatest Favour of Almighty
Allah upon the Believers!
There is no doubt that Almighty Allah did a Great Favour, in fact, the
Greatest Favour upon us, that He sent the Beloved Rasool ﷺfor our
Guidance, and it is our Imaan and our Aqida that whatever we have is
through the Sadqa and the Blessings of Nabi ﷺ.
We have Islam because of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, we have the Holy Qur’an
because of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, and we have every bounty and every
favour because of the Beloved Rasool ﷺ, and thus the Greatest
Favour and The Greatest Blessing is Nabi Kareem ﷺ, and this is why
we celebrate and honour the Moulood of the Beloved Nabi ﷺ, for it
is the Most Blessed and Momentous Occasion, when Almighty Allah
Blessed the Universe with The Greatest Favour, in the Form of His
Habeeb Muhammadur Rasoolullah ﷺ.
He ﷺis the Greatest Favour and Blessing of Almighty Allah, and yet
He ﷺis acknowledging and Honouring Hazrat Sayyiduna Siddique e
Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہto such a degree that Nabi Kareem ﷺis saying that, only
Allah can reward the kindness and the favours which Hazrat Abu Bakr
Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہexhibited towards Him ﷺ.
108
Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہis being praised by Him ﷺwho says,
Nabi Kareem ﷺis saying that the wealth of none has benefitted Him
ﷺmore than Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہwhereas in the real
sense none can truly benefit Nabi Kareem ﷺand this is the humility
of Nabi Kareem ﷺand His ﷺlove and appreciation which He ﷺis
showing towards Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ. The reality is that, it is
through Him ﷺthat the entire universe is benefitting. It must be
noted here that whenever Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique spent his
wealth, he spent it for the sake of Allah’s Deen and upon the Call of
Nabi Kareem ﷺto give in the Way of Almighty Allah, but Nabi
109
Kareem ﷺis saying that Siddique e Akbar’s wealth benefitted Him
ﷺ, whereas the Beloved Nabi ﷺdid not ask Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ننہ
So, from this it can be ascertained that when we spend for the
Moulood of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, then we are not wasting, but we are
indeed spending for the Deen of Allah and for the Pleasure of Allah
and His Beloved Rasool ﷺ.
So, when the Badmazhabs (deviants) forbid this, they are forbidding
the Muslims from spending in the Way of Allah, for it is proven that
spending in the Love of Nabi Kareem ﷺis to spend in Allah’s Way,
and the beautiful example of this is that of Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ, for
when he had our Master Hazrat Sayyiduna Bilal ر ضی الہ ضنہfreed, he did so
in the Love of Rasoolullah ﷺand this was regarded as him having
Hazrat Sayyiduna Bilal ر ضی الہ ضنہfreed in the Way of Allah.
110
While explaining this Hadith Shareef in a beautiful poetic style,
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہeloquently gathers this
Hadith Shareef in a couplet of love, in which the great Imam of the
Ahle Sunnat says,
Here, the Beloved Nabi ﷺis declaring that He ﷺis the Closest and
the Most Beloved in The Divine Court of Almighty Allah. So, in this, it
is being implied that this is the excellence of Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ,
that the Beloved Nabi ﷺwould choose him as His ﷺKhalil and since
the Beloved Nabi ﷺis indeed the Most Beloved of Allah, Siddique e
Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہis indeed the Best in the entire creation after the Ambia
and Mursaleen, for he is the Beloved of the Most Beloved of Almighty
Allah ﷺ.
The response of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہis a truly beautiful
one. While weeping he said, Who Is The Master (Owner) of My Life
And My Wealth Except For You, Ya Rasool’Allah !ﷺ
In other words, Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہwas teaching us the
true meaning of Love, for he was implying that, Ya Rasool’
Allah !ﷺMy life and my wealth belong to You, so whatever I have
spent for Deen is all given to me by You.
112
As for the deviants who object when we say that whatever we have is
from Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ, they should revisit these Golden
Words of Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ, and we the Sunni Bareilvis
should be proud that we hold the same Aqida which was the Aqida of
Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
It was the Aqida of Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہthat Nabi Kareem ﷺis the
Owner of our lives and our wealth and of everything else, for He ﷺ
has been granted this Grandness by His ﷺCreator, Almighty Allah.
Upon His Blessed Name, My Heart, My Soul And All My Wealth Too,
If I Sincerely Sacrificed, O Najdis, Then Why Does It Bother You?

COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATION
In other words, neither can any Wali reach the status of a Nabi, nor
can they ever reach the status of Sahabi, for the Sahabi has reached
the highest level of Wilaayat amongst the people, and the greatest
amongst them is Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ. Hazrat Meer Sayyid ر ضی الہ ضنہis
saying that none who is really a Wali will even think or make the
claim of being equal to a Nabi or even close in Status to a Nabi, for
Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique who is the greatest after the
Ambia and the Mursaleen never claimed such, and could not reach

such, for that is unique to the Ambia e Kiraam يم م.
117
Na’oodhu-Billah! This is the state of these evil ones. Hence, Hazrat
Meer Sayyid Abdul Waahid Bilgirami ر ضی الہ ضنہis refuting the Qadianis and
all the deviants in this statement. Thereafter, he reminds us
regarding the Grand Sequence of the Khulafa of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, and
then says that those who reject Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہas a Khalifa, are from
amongst the Kharijis and those who reject the Pre-Eminence of
Hazrat Siddique e Akbar and Hazrat Umar e Farooq ر ضی الہ ضیھاare from
amongst Raafdhis.
In this, once again, is the refutation of the deviants, and this closing
statement of Hazrat Sayyid Meer Abdul Waahid Bilgirami ر ضی الہ ضنہproves
that even the opening words of his statement were in the refutation
of the deviants, and this is why he closed that statement with the
direct refutation of the Kharijis and the Raafdhis, while announcing
that the greatest status after the Ambia and Mursaleen belongs to
Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہamongst the people. Ustadh e Zaman thus
proclaims,

Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam e Ahle Sunnat Ash Shah Imam Ahmed Raza
Khan Qaadiri Barakaati ر ضی الہ ضنہquotes another beautiful statement from
Saba’ Sanaabil Shareef which is related to the previous discussion.
He then says,
119
O My Beloved! Even though the Impeccable Grandness of The
Shaykhain (Hazrat Abu Bakr And Hazrat Umar) should be regarded
as being much higher than the Khatanain (Hazrat Uthman and
Hazrat Ali), it should not be in a manner whereby the thought of the
Status of The Khatanain being deficient and defective, crosses your
mind. In fact, their Grand Excellence and that of all the Sahaba, is
far beyond the human mind and human thoughts. [Fataawa

COMPILER’S HUMBLE OVSERVATION
Subhaan’Allah! Hazrat Meer Sayyid ر ضی الہ ضنہis presenting here the
essence and the spirit of love. He is telling us that if you want to learn
how to be a devotee and a true disciple of a Shaykh e Kaamil, then
learn from the life of Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ. Learn how he sacrificed
everything for the love of Nabi Kareem ﷺwho is the Greatest
Shaykh and Murshid, in order to attain Special Nearness in the Court
of Almighty Allah and His Beloved Rasool ﷺ. This statement of
Hazrat Sayyid Meer ر ضی الہ ضنہtakes one towards the heights of a Grand
Spiritual Journey.
Almighty, and thus, he was honoured as being the most pious in the
Ummah, and this is why the pious of every era and every Mureed and
every Peer, will always regard him as their Grand Spiritual Master,
after Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
Hazrat Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہadmired and observed the Beloved
Rasool with such profound love and devotion, that none could see
that which Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہsaw, for he was totally
absorbed in the Beloved Rasool ﷺand this afforded him this grand
status.
Hazrat Meer Sayyid Abdul Waahid Bilgirami ر ضی الہ ننہis in fact taking us on
a very blessed spiritual journey in both these statements which have
been quoted by Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہfrom the Saba’ Sanaabil
Shareef.
In other words, if you love Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہthen you must love
Umar e Farooq, Uthman e Ghani and Ali e Murtadha. And if you love
Maula Ali ر ضی الہ ضنہthen you must love Siddique e Akbar, Umar e Farooq
and Maula Ali and every Sahabi of Nabi Kareem ﷺ. It is only then
that you will understand what true love is, and only then will you will
be saved from transgressing the limits while claiming love.
123
We are being taught not to allow Shaitaan to whisper evil thoughts
into our hearts. In other words, we should not allow shaitaan to fog
our minds and hearts. We must know that all the Sahaba and the
Pious Ones always honoured Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہbecause he has
been blessed with this Great Honour from the Court of Allah and His
Beloved Rasool ﷺ.
Ustadh e Zaman Allama Hasan ر ضی الہ ننہmanifests the rays of this
message in his tribute to Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہby saying,

COMPILER’S HUMBLE OVSERVATION
Here, Huzoor Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Azeem ul Barkat ر ضی الہ ضنہpresents a
Hadith Shareef which is the Tafseer of Surah At-Tahreem (66), Verse
4, and after presenting the verse of the Holy Qur’an, he presents the
Hadith of the Beloved Rasool ﷺ, wherein the Beloved Rasool ﷺsaid,
These Pious Believers are Abu Bakr Siddique and Umar e Farooq.
There is no doubt that none knows the Holy Qur’an and none
understands the Holy Qur’an better than Sayyiduna Rasoolullah ﷺ
and thus none will ever present a commentary and an explanation of
the verses of the Holy Qur’an better than Huzoor e Akram Noor e
Mujas’sam ﷺ, upon whom The Holy Qur’an was revealed.
This is why Murshid e Kareem Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہ

says, The condition of the Sahaba e Kiraam ر ض ضوان الہ تنای یی ھم ا جن ضینwas such that
Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Mas’ud ر ضی الہ ضنہlearnt the Holy Qur’an from
Sarkaar ﷺ, and (also) Hazrat Ibn Ab’bas ر ضی الہ ضاlearnt the Holy Qur’an
from Huzoor ﷺ, and after them, their students learnt it.
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہthen concludes, From this it is
evident that explaining the Holy Qur’an and explaining the Hadith is
primarily the Exalted Station and the Exalted Status which is
afforded to Sarkaar ﷺ. [Duroos ul Bukhari Lil Imam Akhtar Raza Al
Qaadiri]
126
This Hadith Shareef has been reported by Hazrat Abdullah Ibn
Mas’ud ر ضی الہ ضنہand the above statements of Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush
Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہalready tells us about the knowledge of this Blessed
Companion of Nabi Kareem ﷺwho learnt the Holy Qur’an from
Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Ab’bas ر ضی الہ ضیھا.
By the Beloved Rasool ﷺsaying that, These Pious Believers are Abu
Bakr Siddique and Umar e Farooq, is proof that Hazrat Sayyiduna
Abu Bakr Siddique and Hazrat Sayyiduna Umar e Farooq ر ضی الہ نھاare the
helpers of the Believers, and this further explains the grand
excellence which has been bestowed upon both of them.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Azeem ul Barkat ر ضی الہ ضنہmentions in the same
discussion in Fataawa Razviyyah Shareef that, in the Qira’at (i.e.
manner of recitation) of Hazrat Ubay bin Ka’ab ر ضی الہ ضنہit was like this,
(In other words) The Pious Muslims Abu Bakr And Umar, And After
That, Even The Angels Are In Support. [Fataawa Razviyyah Shareef
Vol.30, Page 418]
127
Surah At-Tahreem (66), Verse 4, and the Tafseer by Nabi Kareem ﷺ
further proves the Aqida of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jama’at, that Hazrat
Jibreel e Ameen and The Pious Believers and The Angels are all
appointed to assist the Muslims and that to seek the Aid of the
Beloveds of Almighty Allah is totally permissible, and this is why
Almighty Allah mentioned them after His Name.
Thus, Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam e Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہalso says, Here,
With His Name, Almighty Allah is stating the names of His Beloved
Servants (that) Allah and Jibra’eel and Abu Bakr and Umar are
Helpers. [Fataawa Razviyyah Shareef Vol.30, Page 418]
Allah, for they assist us by the Will and the Permission of Almighty
Allah, and this is why, in the Tafseer of the verse,
128
The servants of Allah should ponder on this, and they should realise,
that everything is through the Grace of Allah. To regard seeking
assistance from the Ambia and Awliyah as Shirk, is a false belief, since
seeking the assistance of the chosen servants of Allah is the Help of
Allah.
If this Ayat (verse) means that which the Wahabis say, then what will
be said concerning the verses in the Qur’an?
Why has this been said, and why is it that in the Hadith there is
evidence with regards to seeking assistance from the pious servants
of Allah? [Khaza’in ul Irfan]
From this, it becomes very clear that the Beloved Rasool ﷺis also
saying that the Pious Servants of Almighty Allah are our helpers and
the most powerful of helpers amongst the pious are Hazrat Abu Bakr
and Hazrat Umar ر ضی الہ ضیھا. It is also clearly mentioned in the Tafseer of
Surah Faateha, Verse 4, by Sadrul Afaadil ر ضی الہ ضنہthat the Pious
Personalities are our helpers.
129
The Hadith which is the Tafseer of Surah At-Tahreem (66), Verse 4, is
clear refutation of the deviant and corrupt beliefs of the Wahabis and
Deobandis, who forbid Muslims from seeking assitance from the
pious by misinterpreting the Tafseer of ‘And From You Only Do We
Seek Help’, as they use the verse wrongly, to mislead the masses.
While on the discussion of the pious being able to assist us and they
being appointed from the Court of Almighty Allah as the helpers of
the Believers, it must be noted that when the pious are our helpers
and when Jibra’eel يي ه مis our helper (i.e. one who assists us in times
of need), then indeed The Beloved Rasool ﷺwho is the Greatest in
Allah’s Creation even Aids Jibra’eel يي ه مand He ﷺAids Hazrat Abu
Bakr and Hazrat Umar ر ضی الہ ضیھاand everyone else, and thus to seek the
Aid of Nabi Kareem ﷺand to seek the Aid of His ﷺBeloveds is
proven from the Hadith of Nabi Kareem ﷺwhich is the Tafseer of
the verse which Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہpresented above.
We should thus never fall into the traps of the deviants and we
should hold firmly to the Blessed Word of our Nabi ﷺand the words
of the Beloveds of Nabi Kareem ﷺwhile remembering the message
of Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہ.

3. Abu Jahl, the wicked, malicious, accursed, scoundrel became
overjoyed when he heard this as he thought that this was impossible,
and no one would accept it, and he felt that he had finally found
something to use against Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
This may sound like his normal behaviour because he was always an
enemy of Nabi Kareem ﷺand thus the enemy of Islam, but
something that we should take note of in this, is that till this day, this
is the way of the malicious Kuffar and they usually do not oppose the
believers on intricate matters directly, but they approach them in the
guise of trying to just have a discussion and to only ask questions, but
their intentions are evil and their aim is to undermine the Deen of
Allah and His Beloved Rasool ﷺ, as was the intention and the evil
scheme of Abu Jahl, when he heard about the Isra and the Me’raj.
5. After hearing the claim of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, Abu Jahl went looking
for Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہand when he saw Hazrat
Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہhe walked towards him snapping his arms, like
people did in those days, while making noises with their armpits, in
134
order to mock someone. He did this because he felt he would be
successful that day and that he would win Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ
over. He felt that this was his chance to create a doubt in the mind of
Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ, for whom in that era would believe that a
person went in a short space of time all the way to Baitul Maqdis and
then returned in a short space of time on that very night.
The answer is clear. Abu Jahl the evil one, did this because he knew
well that after Nabi Kareem ﷺ, there is none who is more
honourable amongst the Muslims than Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہand he
also knew well that Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہis the most
beloved and the most near and dear person to Nabi Kareem ﷺ. This
is why he asked, Did you hear something new? Your Beloved Friend
is saying that, I went to Baitul Maqdis tonight and I returned on the
very same night.
Even the most evil and wicked person amongst the Kuffar, Abu Jahl
knew that there is none with a greater status amongst the Muslims
after Nabi Kareem ﷺ, except for Hazrat Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar
ر ضی الہ ضنہand this is why he went to him, for he knew that Hazrat Siddique
e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہwas the most influential personality after Nabi Kareem
ﷺ, and him going to Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہwas a strategy he had
He assumed that when Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہheard what
Nabi Kareem ﷺis saying, he would dismiss it and he would not
support this statement of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, but his strategy was
always a failed strategy, even before he went to Sayyiduna Siddique
135
Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہand even before he tried his best to implement it, for this
is the Beloved of the Most Beloved ﷺwhom he was intending to
deceive.
7. What Abu Jahl failed to foresee was that this was not just any
ordinary influential Arab, but this was the True Aashiq of Nabi
Kareem ﷺwho was about to be blessed with the honour of being
‘The Siddique’ and the one who truthfully and honestly testified and
attested to the Peerless Grandness of Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
When Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہreplied, he did not only attest
to Nabi Kareem ﷺhaving made this journey in a short portion of
night, but he attested to Nabi ﷺhaving Ilm e Ghaib and he attested
to Nabi Kareem ﷺbeing Allah’s Nabi and to Wahi being revealed
upon Nabi ﷺ. He testified to all of this and much more in a single
statement of love, devotion and loyalty to Allah’s Habeeb ﷺand he
did this by saying, ‘Wal’laahi’. He did this by taking an Oath in Allah’s
Name, for this was his faith and his conviction in Nabi Kareem ﷺ.
It is important to note here, that Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہdid
not say to Abu Jahl the accursed, give me a moment, let me first go
to Nabi Muhammad ﷺand ask him about this, but he immediately
said that if this is what my Beloved Nabi ﷺhas said, Then, Wal’laahi

Him ﷺ, I Even Attest To This Regarding Him ﷺThat, Heavenly
Revelations Descend Upon Him, Morning And Evening.
refute the evil enemies and cause their hearts to burn in their
enmity.
11. So, in that single statement of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ
is also proof that Nabi Kareem ﷺwent on the Isra and Me’raj
physically with body and soul, and not in a dream, or else there
would have been no need for Abu Jahl and the Kuffar to object to
this, and there would have been no need for Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہto
refute them. His taking an Oath in Allah’s Name and affirming the
Blessed Word of Nabi Kareem ﷺproves that this was a physical
journey like none other.
138
So, this statement of Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique is an Ocean
of Gems regarding the Me’raj of Nabi Kareem ﷺand it proves that
our Nabi Kareem ﷺwent and returned before anyone even realised
that He ﷺhad left His ﷺSacred Bed, for the Isra and the Me’raj of
Nabi ﷺis unique and its uniqueness is because it is, ‘The Miracle of
Miracles’ and the one who testified to it is indeed, ‘The Miracle of
The Beloved Rasool ’ﷺ.
This is why the Grand Muhad’dith of this era, The Ghazaali and The
Grand Imam of this time, Huzoor Sayyidi Muhad’dith e Kabeer Qibla
says, My Nabi ﷺIs Unique In His ﷺPower of Miracle. Every
Miracle Is An Individual Miracle, But By Allah! The Me’raj Is Not Just
A Single Miracle, But It Is The Unique Collectiveness of Numerous
Miracles. This Is Such A Blessed Miracle That We Cannot Even
Decode How Many Other Miracles Are Gathered Within It.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہportrays the return from this Glorious
Journey in a couplet which glows as one of the Lustrous Pearls in the
Radiant Necklace of Gems, in his unmatched Qasida e Me’rajiyah:

elderly person about Nabi )ﷺ. So, he (Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique)
said,
140
COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATION
This advice which Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہgave to Hazrat
Sayyiduna Abdur Rahmaan Ibn Auf ر ضی الہ ضنہwhen he had not as yet
accepted Islam, was indeed the inspiration which took him to the
Sacred Feet of Nabi Kareem ﷺwhere he was blessed with accepting
Islam at the Most Sacred Hands of The Greatest in Allah’s Creation,
Sayyiduna Muhammad e Arabi ﷺ.
Together with it, this statement of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ
is as per the Command of Almighty Allah in the Glorious Qur’an and it
is this which is the Aqida of the Ahle Sunnat Wal Jama’at, which is
that Almighty Allah sent Nabi Kareem ﷺtowards the entire creation
as a Rasool.
(And O Beloved) We Have Sent You Not, But With Such A Universal
Prophethood Which Encompasses The Entire Mankind. [Surah Saba
(34), Verse 28]
And We Have Sent You Not, But As Mercy Unto The Worlds
[Surah Al-Ambia (21), Verse107]
It is reported from Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Hurairah ر ضی الہ ضنہ that the
Beloved Rasool ﷺsaid,
Every Nabi Was Sent Specifically Towards His Nation And I Have
Been Sent Towards The Entire Creation (The Entire Universe).
142
All of these verses and Ahadith e Mubaarak clearly announce that
every Nabi came towards his particular nation, but Nabi Kareem ﷺ
came towards the entire creation. He ﷺis Allah’s Most Beloved, and
Almighty Allah sent him towards both the worlds, meaning towards
the entire creation, be they in the heavens or on the earth.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam Ahle Sunnat ر ضی الہ ضنہexpresses this in one of
his poetic stanzas, with the following words,
143
After the Beloved Rasool ﷺannounced His ﷺNubuw’wat, and
when he (Abdur Rahmaan) had gone once again (to Yemen), the
elderly monk said, I will give you glad-tidings about that which is
better for you than your business. Almighty Allah has sent His Chosen
Nabi from amongst your nation. He has revealed His Divine Book
upon Him. He forbids idol worshipping, and He invites (the people)
towards Islam. He Commands righteousness and personally acts
accordingly. He forbids falsehood, and he is the destroyer of it. He is
a Hashmi and O Abdur Rahmaan, you are His maternal uncle. Return
swiftly (to Makkah) and present yourself in His Court and bear
testimony to Him (As Allah’s Nabi )ﷺ, and convey these couplets on
my behalf in His Grand Court.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہsays, I am presenting here (just) two of those
couplets (which he wrote):
144
So, on returning (to Makkah Shareef) Abdur Rahman Ibn Auf ر ضی الہ ضنہ
asked Siddique e Akbar ( ر ضی الہ ضنہabout what he had heard from an
elderly person about Nabi )ﷺ. So, he (Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique)
said, (The One Whom You Are Talking About) Is Muhammad Ibn
Abdullah. Almighty Allah Has Sent Him Towards The Entire
Creation, As His Rasool ﷺ. So Present Yourself In His ﷺHoly Court.
145
Subhaan’Allah! This is an amazing narration which Sayyidi Aala
Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہhas presented in an explanatory style in Fataawa
Razviyyah Shareef, and it shows that when Hazrat Abdur Rahmaan
Ibn Auf ر ضی الہ ضنہcame to Makkah Shareef after meeting the elderly Monk
in Yemen and after listening to what he had to say, and after
receiving the glad-tidings from him, he did not go to anyone else. He
specifically went to Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ.
This further proves that Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہwas
always regarded as a noble personality and it also tells us that his
advice was valued and thus when he said to Hazrat Abdur Rahmaan
ibn Auf ر ضی الہ ضنہto go to Nabi ﷺ, he immediately did so as he was
satisfied with what Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہsaid about Nabi ﷺ. This
narration also tells us that when Hazrat Abdur Rahmaan ibn Auf ر ضی الہ ضنہ
presented himself in the Court of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, the Beloved Nabi
ﷺrecognised him and asked him about the message which he had
This was the Ilm e Ghaib of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, for Huzoor ﷺknew that
he had met the elderly monk and that the monk had given him the
couplets to present in the Court of Nabi Kareem ﷺ, and the closing
words of Nabi Kareem ﷺprove that He ﷺknew that the elderly

COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATION
This narration presented by Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہdiscusses the
moment when Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہtook his
father Abu Quhafa who was not a Muslim as yet, into the Court of
Nabi Kareem ﷺon the day of Fateh Makkah, so that he may accept
Islam at the Blessed Hands of Nabi Kareem ﷺand so that he may be
blessed with being a Sahabi.
Subhaan’Allah! This was the best gift that any son could have given
to his father. Hazrat Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہgave his father the Gift of
Imaan, The Gift of being a Sahabi and The Gift of Jannah, for when he
took his father by the hand and led him into the Court of Nabi
Kareem ﷺ, he was in fact taking his Beloved Father towards Allah’s
Habeeb ﷺand towards salvation.
149
It can be further understood from this narration that Rasoolullah ﷺ
was already aware by His ﷺIlm e Ghaib, that Abu Quhafa would be
coming hand in hand with Abu Bakr Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہbecause Nabi ﷺ
said, Why did you not leave this old man where he was, so that I
would have gone personally to him. In other words, Nabi Kareem ﷺ
knew where he was and from where he was being brought.
This was the kindness and compassion of Nabi Kareem ﷺand the
immense humility of Nabi Kareem ﷺ. Another reason that seems
apparent here is that Nabi ﷺsaid this because Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ننہ
brought him into the Court of Nabi Kareem ﷺholding his hand and
Nabi Kareem ﷺblessed him further for he was the father of His
Beloved Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہ. Such is the kindness and the generous
nature of our Aaqa ﷺ, that no matter how weak one may be, if he
goes with sincerity towards Nabi ﷺ, he will be blessed with the
Showers of Nabi Kareem’s ﷺMercy.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat ر ضی الہ ضنہbeautifully captures in words the rays of the
generosity of Nabi ﷺby saying,
150
Now, as for the answer which Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہgave
when Huzoor ﷺsaid that He ﷺwould have gone towards the
elderly Abu Quhafa, was a beautiful and heart warming one. He said
that he had brought him to Nabi Kareem ﷺso that he may attain the
blessings and the rewards for this from Allah Almighty.
From this it is clear that none can attain nearness in the Court of
Almighty Allah without the Beloved Rasool ﷺ. Ghaus ul Waqt Huzoor
Sayyidi Mufti e Azam e Hind Ash Shah Imam Mustafa Raza Khan
Qaadiri ر ضی الہ ضنہdestroys the deviants by announcing this true message,
when he said,
151
Wasl e Maula Chahate Ho To Wasila Dhoond Lo
Be Wasila Najdiyo! Har Giz Khuda Milta Nahiñ
If You Desire To Attain Closeness To The Almighty, Then Seek Out A Mediator
O Najdis! Without A Mediator, Closeness To Allah, You Will Never Find
They Leave The Blessings Of The Beloved, And Ask Directly From Allah
His Wish From Allah, Such A Malicious Person, Will Never Find
The closing words of Siddique Akbar ر ضی الہ ننہwere, I would have felt
greater happiness than I feel upon my father accepting Islam, if Abu
Taalib would have become a Muslim.
This statement is proof that Abu Taalib had not accepted Islam and in
even his final moments, he refused the invitation to accept Islam due
to the fear of being insulted by his people, whereas he had done
everything in his life to support Nabi Kareem ﷺ, but he did not
accept Islam. This shows that without Islam and Imaan, there is
nothing, no matter how much good one does.
Huzoor Sayyidi Taajush Shariah ر ضی الہ ضنہsays about Abu Taalib that, Abu
Taalib bore witness,
So, he refused to accept (the Deen and True Message). He knew it,
and he used to acknowledge it with his tongue and knew it in his
heart, but he refused to accept it, so he too is a Kaafir (unbeliever).
[Duroos ul Bukhari]
He further writes about the Mercy of Nabi Kareem ﷺon the Day of
Fateh Makkah, The bloodthirsty enemies of Islam were presented
(before Him )ﷺ, each with his head lowered, waiting, anticipating
what the judgement would be regarding them, each (of them) hoping
and wishing for pardon in some way.
Subhaan’Allah! This is the day when Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہbrought
his father hand in hand to accept Islam at the Sacred Hands of Nabi
Kareem ﷺ. It was the Day when the Mercy of Nabi Kareem ﷺwas
flowing more than a Shoreless Ocean. Such Mercy and such
Forgiveness, History has never seen, nor will it see, for this is the
Mercy of Him ﷺ, Who is Rahmatulil ‘Aalameen.
Sayyidi Aala Hazrat Imam e Ahle Sunnat Ash Sha Imam Ahmed Raza
Khan Qaadiri Barakaati ر ضی الہ ضنہsays,

THE TWENTY-SECOND REFLECTION
SIDDIQUE E ABKAR’S GENTLENESS WAS THE
MANIFESTATION OF MUSTAFA’S ﷺGENTLENESS
The People Said That Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہWas So Gentle (As The
Khalifa) That When The Muslim Children Would See Him, They
Would Rush Towards Him Saying, Father! Father! And He would
Run His Hands Over Their Heads.
155
COMPILER’S HUMBLE OBSERVATION
This alone tells us how gentle and how kind a personality he was. As
mentioned in the above statement, he would not shun the children
when they approached him, but he treated them with kindness and
love and he would run his hands over their heads with affection.
This gentle nature of Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہis that which
he was blessed with from his closeness of Nabi Kareem ﷺ. He knew
well the beauty and the blessings in gentleness and kindness and he
followed the command of Nabi ﷺeven in running his hand over the
heads of the children.

Since, I have mentioned the journey of Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr
Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہ, and this book is being officially launched on the 22nd of
Jumada Al Thaani, which is the day of the Wisaal of Sayyiduna
Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہand this day is known as Yaum e Siddique e
Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہI want to present the following brief discussion.
The world knows that Sayyiduna Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہspent his
entire life in the sincere service of Nabi Kareem ﷺand he remained
absorbed in the love of Nabi Kareem ﷺuntil the end of his worldly
life. He would often think about the hereafter and about the day
when he would be present in the Court of Almighty Allah.
Hazrat Sa’eed ibn Mansur ر ضی الہ ضنہhas reported in his Sunan on the
authority of Mu’awiyah bin Qur’rah ر ضی الہ ضنہthat Hazrat Abu Bakr
Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہoften made the following Dua, O Allah, allow the latter
of my life to be good and let me pass from this world while
performing good deeds. The best day of all my days will be the day
when I make Your Deedar (i.e. when I am blessed with Your Divine
Vision).
This is that Siddique e Akbar ر ضی الہ ضنہregarding whom Imam Ibn Asaakir
reported on the authority of Hazrat Anas ر ضی الہ ضنہthat the Beloved Nabi
ﷺsaid, It Is Compulsory Upon My Ummat To Be Thankful To Abu
So, we should always honour and pay tribute to all the Companions
of the Beloved Rasool ﷺ, especially Hazrat Sayyiduna Abu Bakr
Siddique ر ضی الہ ضنہwho sacrificed everything in the Love of Almighty Allah
and His Beloved Rasool ﷺand who all the Sahaba e Kiraam regarded
as their leader. Almighty Allah blessed him with the greatest honour
