 Abstract

Online Home Services contain all digital market places that offer timely access to a broad range of home
facilities. The worldwide requirement for these types of facilities is rising owing to the ease of accessibility
and convenience provided by these facilities. Similarly, these platforms link consumers with service
providers and manage payment and billing transactions, which makes the payment process easier for
customers. The rising number of advertising and marketing campaigns is a trend that will contribute to
market growth.

Additionally, the service helps connecting users with a large number of third-party information providers.
Home Services are gaining popularity as a result of their time-saving capabilities that help customers in
accessing the needed services quickly and in a cost-effective way. The online on-demand home services
allow customers to experience different services within the comfort of their homes with the help of only one
click, further saving both time and money. The global online on-demand home services market can be
segmented into type, services, and geography. In terms of type, the market can be segmented into cellular
and non-cellular. In terms of services, the market can be segmented into food, retail, media & entertainment,
healthcare, carpentry, beauty, and home welfare.

Therefore, we as a team decided that this service is important for our country, especially in the Kurdistan
Region of Iraq. By this user can easily avail the needed home services with none difficulty and delay.

1 Introduction

HSP stands for Home Services Provider, it’s a website platform, it has many features (User Registration,
Browsing, Services, Discounts, Delivery, Online Payment, Find Job, Feedback, Customer Support,
About Us), each of which has its own properties, which allows the user to benefit from organizing the home
in less time and less cost. The website also includes all the adaptations of the community environment, very
easily integrated with the customs and language of the community, which makes the use of this website free
from all problems.

Companies can benefit from the app because they can improve their markets, so this e-commerce website
has been able to communicate with companies.

Provide competent employees to perform all services, provide fast delivery to all cities in Kurdistan
Religion, and make an online shopping environment to provide all customer needs for their houses.

Anyone can participate in this services because people financial has considered, so the discount list on the
website acts an important role for this purpose. This website will become part of people lives because it
reduces shortcomings.

2.1 User Registration

Users can do the registration process for creating business account and acceptance will be simple easy
on this app. Users can sign up via phone numbers, emails or social media accounts.

2.2 Browsing
Users should be able to quickly search through multiple products and services to quickly find what
they need to hire. Browsing via navigator or categorical breakdown filters like cost, service types,
distance.

The system is incredibly useful for people who want to opt home services like repairing, cleaning,
plumbing, electronic services, because now a day’s everyone wants to reduce time wasting save and
more time, people want to solve their problems with the lowest time wasting as fast as possible, this
system have all services that people need it for their houses.

2.4 Discounts
The system also has discounting for special services and products, this discounting has a limited time
that we offer to our customers, users. So the users can urge the services before the offer is expired

2.5 Delivery
The system has the delivery to all around the country with the lowest cost and time wasting the system
will work with the delivery companies to deliver our services to our customers

2.6 Online Payment

Members, users are comfortable to paying via online rather manually. When customers are ready to
sign up for an event. They want to do it quickly and easy. Users will be able to buy services and

 products via online payment. This system integrates multiple-payment options for customers to fell
free and buy their needs.

2.7 Find Job

The system also increases job opportunities for peoples. We work as a channel between businesses
and users. Peoples can advertise for themselves or for their business in our application.

2.8 Feedback
Users can see or check other customer feedbacks of a service or product to make sure or to make up
their decisions about the product or service that they want to purchase. Also they can put review
comment about the services and products.

3 Technologies and Tools

Our website is built using a combination of different technologies. In this section, we list down these
technologies and tools, also we explained them that you have a clear idea of the ingredients we use to create
the perfect on Home Service Provider (HSP) for community.

3.1 Technologies
1) Adobe XD

Adobe XD is a powerful design tool used to create prototypes and wireframes for mobile app interfaces and
websites. It has a set of features that allow designers to create prototypes, wireframes, and mockups for their
clients.

The tool offers features such as vector drawing tools and an

interactive code editor for faster development. Adobe XD has
many benefits, such as its ability to easily create high-quality
graphics and animations, as well as its tight integration with
other Adobe products.

2) Node.js

Node is an open-source server-side JavaScript technology

that allows developers to build quickly scalable, high
performance web applications.

Node.js is the best way to build large-scale, real-time web applications. It uses an asynchronous, event-
driven, non-blocking I/O model and runs on a V8 engine. This makes Node.js code perform more quickly
(since there are no multitasking pauses) and use fewer
system resources (since it can handle multiple connections at
once).

3) PostgreSQL

PostgreSQL is a popular open-source relational database

management system. It is a powerful and reliable database
that has been in use for more than two decades.
PostgreSQL has been downloaded over 200 million times
from its website alone.

Since its inception, Postgresql has grown immensely –

both in terms of features and community support. It has
also become one of the most popular databases among
developers and enterprises alike with its popularity rivaling
that of MySQL, Oracle, or Microsoft’s SQL Server.

It currently holds about 30% market share as per DB-

engines.com. PostgreSQL is the most widely deployed
open source database. Its development has been sponsored
by organizations such as IBM, Hewlett-Packard, Red Hat
and others since 1991.

4) Visual Studio Code

Visual Studio Code is a free, lightweight but powerful

source code editor that runs on your desktop and on the
web and is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, and
Raspberry Pi OS. It comes with built-in support for JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js and has a rich
ecosystem of extensions for other programming languages (such as C++, C#, HTML, Java, Python, PHP,
and Go), runtimes (such as .NET and Unity), environments (such as Docker and Kubernetes), and clouds
(such as Amazon Web Services, Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform).

3.2 Tools
As a team we used some essential tools to develop this website. First, we divided tasks among us, then we
started to build the website. Usable tools such as:

1) HTML
It is a basic web programming language that is used to design and build the structure of the website. As
we know we used HTML5.

2) CSS
It is the language we use to style a Web page.
3) JavaScript
It used to specify the behaviour of web pages.
4) JQuery
It is a JavaScript library designed to make the process of web development and web design easier. A
front-end web development tool.
5) Bootstrap
It is a free and open-source CSS framework directed at responsive, mobile-first front-end web
development.

4 Profits

In terms of profitability, the website is designed to useful for every parties. For example, 5% to 10%
percent of each service subscription goes to the website and the rest goes to the second party. As mentioned
above, the website also includes discounts that make the user more interested in using the website.

For delivery services, the lowest price is to be achieved, which is in the interest of the customer. Depends on

5 Scope

To note, the high interest of consumers for on-demand home services has contributed to its growing market
value. Statistically, this market is expected to grow at a 49% CAGR and amount to $1,574.86 billion
between 2022-2024.

However, only the demand of customers cannot determine the potential success of such an app. You have to
devise and utilize particular strategies to boost their growth rate. Focusing at:

5.1 Target audience

Firstly, make sure that you know your target customer base. Do proper research to know important
demographic factors, like age, needs, location, and user expectations. Plan app model and idea accordingly.

5.2 User engagement

Make sure to only enable important reminders and alerts through the push notification feature. Repetitive
and unnecessary alerts can irritate and ultimately dampen a user’s interest in an app.

5.3 User experience
Focus on creating a smooth and user-friendly UX/UI design for your app. An attractive visual design (i.e.,
UI) and the ease of use of their functionalities (i.e., UX) would determine how the customers respond to the
app. Statistically, 70% of app users lose patience with an app if the page loading speed is slow and they
promptly abandon it.

5.4 App performance

Create an app that our team can add upgrades to frequently. The app should have a scalable infrastructure
and user-friendly features. Additionally, invest more in maintenance and bug fixes to ensure a high
productivity rate of our app.

5.5 Tech stack

Adding high-quality technology to the app would prove beneficial to ensure the overall advanced
functionality of your application. Carefully consider what your audience base demands and needs, and add
features accordingly.

7 Conclusion

Overall, service providers can connect to customers, and vice versa, securely with Home Service Provider
(HSP) apps. Before developing such apps, do proper research on the market trends, customer demands, and
your competitors.
Take the help of certified developers to integrate high-quality technology and for testing of the apps, as well.
Then, you can readily offer reliable services to the interested clientele.
