A Case of M.M. Knitwear Ltd” that was assigned to me to submit under the
internship program. It was a great pleasure for me to do the assigned job. I have
conducted my internship program in of M.M. Knitwear Limited Ambag, Konabari,
gazipur with your kind supervision. I believe that the knowledge and experience I
gathered during the internship period, will be helpful in my future professional life.
I made every endeavor to prepare this report accurate, vivid and comprehensive and
tried my level best to accumulate relevant and insightful information within the

Executive Summary
The Merchandising department is the most important part of the export oriented
business. It increases the opportunity for entrepreneurship development in
garment sector. Thus it helps the unemployed people as well as the government
to remove unemployment problem and also play an important role in the economic
development of the country.
I have worked there three months as requirement of the internship phase of BBA
program under the Faculty of Business of MIST. I have selected my topic
“Merchandising System of Knitting Composite Garment Factory: A case of M. M.
Knitwear Ltd.
This Report is originated as a partial requirement of BBA program. The overall
approach of the report is to focus on the communication strategy of
merchandising company and the way by which it attracts the foreign customers
to sale products abroad.
M.M. Knitwear Ltd. is a 100% export oriented garment factory. It depends on
independent merchandising department. M.M Knitwear Ltd. ensures the buyer
about product quality and price. It gives emphasize in merchandizing division to
increase the reputation of the company. If M.M Knitwear Ltd. can initiate long
term and short term plan for execute business the business would be benefited.
The M.M. Knitwear Ltd. believes that performance evaluation is a systematic
appraisal of an employee by him supervising officer who is conversant with the
employee’s job performance. HRD evaluates the employees performance based
on work factors such as job knowledge, performance of work disciplinary action,
attendance records etc. M.M. Knitwear Ltd. garment is managed by qualified and
skilled management.
The management team members are well organized and highly professional.
Management team of M.M. Knitwear Ltd. garment determined long term
decision. The company performs as per the direction of the top management.
M.M Knitwear Ltd. garment management team should concentrate on the areas
of internal control procedures in the key functional areas, product research and

development, production and productivity. M.M. Knitwear Ltd. garment is 100%
export oriented garment factory and it plays a vital role in contributing the
growth of RGM sector in Bangladesh. If M.M. Knitwear Ltd. garment can initiate
long term and short term plan for execute business, then their business will be
more effective and profitable in the long run.
