Should Transgender be allowed to compete in Miss Universe?

Miss Universe pageant is commonly for women, I believe transgender people should not be
allowed to participate. A person who identifies as transgender is one whose gender identification
differs from the sex they had or were perceived to have at birth. As a member of the LGBT
community, they changed their gender since it is what their hearts desired. Being transgender is not
a sin, and even if it were, that would not be enough reason for allowing transgender people to
compete in the Miss Universe pageant, which is only open to women who are genuine, confident,
and attractive.

I think if the Miss Universe Organization allows transgender to join Ms. Universe pageant, they
should allow transgender to join every pageant for women. They should respect it how we respect
the beauty and rights of women but instead of respecting it, we discriminate their competence
causing them to lose confidence or self-esteem that's why I think they should not allow joining it.
Furthermore, there are several reasons why other people wouldn't like to allow transgender to join
in Ms. Universe pageant. First, almost all people believed that this kind of pageant is for a
woman only because it is present for the symbolization for women and their ability to take courage
to show to the whole word that being woman is not quite easy thus women should not be discriminate.
Second, some other people think if transgender join Ms. Universe they will do some things that
would embarrassed the whole LGBT Community. Lastly, some part of LGBT Community is also not
allowing transgender to join because they think that transgender is only allow to join Ms. Gay pageant
that will show their true ability, capability and color.

I therefore conclude that transgender should not allow joining this pageant because this is not for them.
There are things that are not for everyone. We must accept that reality to have peace in our
mind especially in our heart. Transgender is not meant to join Miss Universe pageant because they
are meant to join Ms. Gay which allows them to show their true color and maybe one day, if their skills
and experience are enough to be one of the Miss Universe, we can allow them to prove to everyone
that even part of LGBT Community they can surpass every insults and problems we gave them.
They can prove that they have a strong personality that is needed to be one of Miss Universe. I think
everyone should accept and believe on their selves.
