Lesson Plan for Training and Development

Programme: BBA Semester: IV Paper Code: BBA 212 Academic Year: 2022-23

Date of commencement of classes: March 6, 2023


No. of hours allotted to complete the syllabus: 56 hrs.

Course Objectives:

 To make students understand the scope and importance of training and development
programmes in the organization. (Knowledge Based Learning)

 To help students analyse and develop the training programmes. (Knowledge and
Application Based Learning)

 To make students aware of different training and development methodologies. (Knowledge


and Application Based Learning)

 To make students understand the process of designing training & development programmes
and evaluating training effectiveness. (Application Based Learning)

Upon completion of this course, students will be able to

Course Outcomes:

CO1: Examine the concepts of training and development.

CO2: Analyse the trends in employees and organization development programmes.

CO3: Identify training needs of an individual by conducting training need analysis.

CO4: Evaluate and assess the cost and benefits of a training and development programme. To show insights
into evaluating a training programme.
