SP0509 Circuit Breaker Testing SWP

This document provides guidelines for testing circuit breakers. It outlines staffing requirements and competencies needed, required documentation, key tools and equipment, and step-by-step test procedures. Staff must complete relevant training and hold proper authorizations. Tests are to be done with the circuit breaker de-energized and appropriate safety controls in place to prevent contact with live equipment. Identification details of the circuit breaker are recorded prior to performing measurements and tests to evaluate performance.
