Alloy 316ti: Stainless Steel

Alloy 316Ti is a titanium-stabilized version of 316 molybdenum-bearing austenitic stainless steel. It has higher corrosion resistance than 304 stainless steel and offers better creep and tensile strength at high temperatures. The titanium additions stabilize the steel and prevent chromium carbide precipitation that can cause sensitization and intergranular corrosion. Alloy 316Ti has equivalent corrosion resistance to 316L and is commonly used in chemical processes, high-temperature applications, and automotive and control line industries.
