Multiplying - Grade 3

This lesson plan is for a 45-minute math class on multiplying two-digit numbers by a single-digit number. The lesson will begin with an introduction to the topic and a reminder of multiplication names and results. Students will then decompose numbers into components and work in pairs using coins and banknotes to solve word problems. They will also complete exercises in their textbooks and work independently to solve multiplication puzzles. The class will conclude with didactic games to reinforce the concepts and a summary discussing what was learned.
