0 Conditional Structure

If + Simple present, + simple present

If - Clause , Main – Clause

Don’t use the comma when “The
If + Present Simple, + Future with will Result” goes first.

In Positive sentences

If clause: If + present simple in positive Main clause: will + base form

In negative sentences

If clause: If + present simple in negative (don’t / doesn’t) Main clause: will not (won’t)

Second conditional Structure

If + Past Simple, + Would/Could + base form

In negative sentences

or habit that was performed in the past but is no longer executed or has lost its validity
