D. Lesson Proper
 Content and Skill-Building
(The teacher reads the
first description/definition of verbs.)

From our previous lesson we

already discussed the words that could
describe the Verbs

Verbs are words that show an action (sing),

(Just like the activities that Nobita and

Doraemon do in the forest)

occurrence (develop), or state of being (exist).

Almost every sentence requires a verb. The
basic form of a verb is known as its infinitive.
The forms call, love, break, and go are all
infinitives.
(The teacher calls one of the students to read
the next slide) (Aya, reads the next slide)

(Aya, can you please read the next slide)

Almost all verbs have two other important

forms called participles. Participles are forms
that are used to create several
verbs tenses (forms that are used to show
when an action happened or being happen)

(Great Job, Aya!)

(We have two types of participles that

could be use in a sentence that show an
action word)

(The teacher calls one of the students to (Jam, reads the next slide)
read the next definition)
(Jam, can you please read one of the
types of participles?)

The present participle always ends in -ing:

calling, loving, breaking, going

Example:
Ann is eating right now
I heard someone singing (Students raised their hands)

(Before we move out to the next slide, can you Possible answer:
give one example of present participle in a (I am cooking)
sentence)
(Yes, Albert?)
(Very Good, Albert!)

(When we talk about the forms of the verbs

which is present participle. It means, the action
is happening or doing of a person. It could
describe the first-person point of view, second
person and third person point of view)

(The teacher calls one of the students to read (Lea reads the next slide)
the next slide)
(Lea, Can you please read the next slide?)
(Very Good, Lea!)

The past participle usually ends in -ed, but

many past participles have irregular
endings: called, loved, broken, gone.

(In Past Participle it is an action words that

already happened or did. It could also used by
constructing a sentence of the first-person
point of view, second person and third person
point of view)

Example:
He was finished with the project.
I have lived an interesting life.
The cookies were baked fresh this morning

(Always remember class the differences

between the two important forms of the verbs.
Present Participle it is used to construct a
sentence with an action word that always ends
in-ing. While, the Past Participle is an action
word that already happened from the past and
its always end in-ed)
