1.0 Develop drone delivery Overall project

1.1 Initiating
1.1.1 Develop Scope and Plan Prepare the Statement of Work, Project Cost Estimate, Schedule and other
Baseline Documents
1.1.2 Engage stakeholders Engage with all stakeholders; develop a Stakeholder Register to
determine level of communication with each stakeholder. Determine
scope of project with stakeholders.
1.1.3 Agree project terms Develop formal legal terms of cooperation between Wilmont’s and
Drone Tech. Agree dates for project review meetings.
1.1.4 Finance Initial budget set by the project sponsor; to be reviewed, if needs be,
as the project progresses.
1.1.5 Personnel Personnel assigned to the project to be notified and their roles and
responsibilities defined.

1.2 Planning
1.2.1 Design Specialised delivery packaging and release system to be designed.
1.2.2 Training Training requirements for Walmont’s personnel to be established and
a suitable programme designed.
1.2.3 Scheduling Project timeline to be set. It is constrained by the possibility of poor
weather if it over runs.
1.2.4 IT and Security Both companies’ IT teams to plan for secure exchange of customer
information.
1.2.5 Review Items 1.2.1 to 1.2.4 to be monitored and reviewed on completion
before the delivery phase.
1.2.6 Risk Management Likelihood and severity of risks to the project to be determined;
subject to continuous review at all stages of the project.

1.3 Procurement
1.3.1 Aircraft procurement Four new drones to be procured.
1.3.2 Packaging Materials for the new delivery packaging and release clamps to be
procured
1.4 Project Deliverables
1.4.1 IT systems Wilmont’s and Drone Tech’s IT systems to be securely integrated in
order to take customer orders
1.4.2 Training Training carried out for Wilmont’s personnel; feedback to be gathered
from trainees as to the effectiveness of training.
1.4.3 Packaging Packaging system to be manufactured and tested.
1.4.3 Drone preparation Drones to be painted and packaging release system fitted and tested.
1.4.4 Customer notification Selected customers in the test area to be invited (by Walmont’s) to
use the new drone delivery system when it’s available.
1.4.5 Quality All aspects of the project to be monitored for compliance with project
specifications and opportunities for improvement.
1.4.6 Customer Deliveries Delivery flights to commence no later than 30 November. Customer
feedback to be gathered for continuous improvement efforts.

1.5 Project close


1.5.1 Review project Review customer satisfaction, practicality of operating drone
deliveries and adherence to budget and schedule with a view to
deciding whether to expand deliveries or stop when the project is
complete.
1.5.2 Drone re-role Depending on the outcome of 1.5.1 (above), either keep the drones in
Walmont’s livery or repaint them as Drone Tech aircraft.
1.5.3 Documentation All project documentation to be archived for quality audit and future
reference purposes.
