Soundscape Lesson Plan

This lesson plan introduces 9th and 10th grade music students to the concept of soundscapes through an online learning activity. Students will explore musical elements by composing a 1-2 minute soundscape in response to a visual stimulus of different planets. They will work collaboratively in small groups to select found sounds and rehearse their compositions. Finally, groups will perform their soundscapes for each other and discuss the performances. The lesson aims to develop students' skills in manipulating musical elements, composition, and performance through an engaging creative task.
