E.D. 104 MILAN TESAR wurde am 30. Marz 1938 in Prag geboren. 1964 beendete er seine musikalische Ausbildung ‘am Prager Konservatorium und begann mit der Lehrtatigkeit am Prager Volkskonservatorium. Die Jahre von 1969-71 verbrachte Milan Tesaf in Italien, wo er konzertierte und unterrich- tele. Seit 1973 lehrt er wieder am Volkskonservatorium in Prag. Seit dieser Zeit widmet er sich auch der Komponistentatigkeit. Seine Werke sind bei der Edition Lemoine in Paris, bei Edition Supraphon in Prag und bei der Edition Daminus in Walsrode verlegt. Seine Musik enthalt klassische Elemente, die von der tschechisch bhmischen Tradition be- einfluBt sind und ist auch inspiriert durch westliche Musik, wie 2.B. Blues und Jazz. Milan Tesaf was born in Prague on March 30th, 1938. In 1964 he finished his musical educa- tion at the Prague Conservatory und took up his work as a musical teacher at the Prague Volkskonservatorium. ‘The period from 1969-71 Tesaf spent in Italy teaching and performing. Since 1973 he has been teaching again in Prague and concentrating on his compositions parts of which have been published at Edition Lemoine, Paris; Edition Supraphon in Prague and at Edition Daminus in Walsrode, Germany.
