What is Coronavirus?
➢ Corona viruses can come in different forms.
➢ An example many people may recall was SARS.
➢ SARS was a very strong virus that spreads rapidly and was not
able to be managed by vaccination.
What to look out for…
Why do we need to raise Awareness?
➢ A new outbreak has occurred recently in China and
governments are concerned about a wider outbreak. Coughing,

How to Prevent the Spread
Do this at home and at work…..
Hand hygiene
➢ Wash your hands more often and for longer periods (20s
min).
➢ Use sanitizers gels in toilets and common areas to avoid
disease spread.
➢ Encourage children to follow all steps.

➢ Make sure to wash and cook food properly. Crowds
➢ Makes sure vegetables to be handled properly. Mouth
➢ Stick to cooked and hot foods, care with eggs and meat.

➢ Stay away and report people coughing and sneezing.
➢ If you are coughing, cover your mouth please.
➢ In high people concentration areas consider a mask.

➢ Make sure to Stay well hydrated.
➢ Avoid tea and coffee. What to do….
➢ Consume at least 2 Water liters a per Day.

Fever Reduction
➢ Light wear will reduce symptoms.
➢ Take medication to reduce fever. Hydrate
➢ Rest well and sleep.

If it worsens Consult a Doctor
➢ If symptoms increase consult a doctor.
Temperature
➢ If persists above 39C for several days visit a Fever Medicine
hospital. Inform us
➢ If you have more than 2 symptoms make sure you Seek help
book a Doctor’s appointment.

Inform
➢ If you are experiencing symptoms try not to
place yourself in situations around others.
➢ Inform ADES, maybe stay away from rig/work.
➢ Avoid travel if your unwell.
