Survey Response

Traffic Management Survey

Your city traffic department is conducting a survey to bring in revolutionary changes in
traffic management. The department has sent out an opinion survey to see what
residents feel about the given options
Traffic Management Survey:
Option A: The department should issue more tickets with heavy penalties
Option B: Department should organize traffic awareness programs on a regular basis
It gives me immense pleasure knowing that the city traffic department is inviting the
residents’ inputs in matters that will improve the overall traffic law enforcement. I am glad to
opine in such affairs as I am sure everyone here will be.

According to me, the department should organize traffic awareness programs on a regular
basis. Investing time and efforts in this activity will increase the repo with fellow citizens. Also
residents will benefit a lot from reception of information on a regular basis. For example,
between 20-25th February, 2023 the Malcolm Street was under repair work and we were not
aware, so there was a lot of time wasted for anyone who took that route, if we had been told
of such activity, we could have taken an alternative route and saved time
With such engagement, the chances are exorbitantly high of the residents following the
imposed rules without force.

Also, are all aware, the current mark of tickets is already heavy on pockets and I suspect it will
only derange the relationship of the dwellers with the enforcing agency.
I have immense faith in the department and I believe any decision taken will improve our
lives here.

Writing task: Survey Response

Task: management has sent out an opinion survey to see what students think about the
digitization of books Your university has decided to replace paperback books with digital books.
The
University Survey:
Option A: The university should buy more paperback books.
Option B: Digitalization is a good idea.

It feels privileged to have a say in the mode of transportation for our annual meet at Vancouver by
“AI Solar Tiles”. In my opinion, train surely weighs over bus and undisputedly for genuine reasons.

Train undisputedly stands out as my preference that will be convenient for all as the traveling
party will encompass a lot of different age group, female co-workers etc. Rails are pathways for
trains, they are straight as compared to roads. It offers a lot on our plates, for instance, there are
toilets, pantry cars, meals offered etc. As I recount, once I had an interstate travel, post my flight I
opted for a train back, being exhausted it was boon for me as I could freshen up and could have
meal on time.

Buses are far riskier as the streets are undoubtedly much more vulnerable, also the turbulence
may disturb a lot of sensitive participants. There are a lot of stops owing to crossroads or traffic
signals or even pickups. We have a very limited or almost no shared space to stretch our legs as is
required during long trips.

I am sure everyone will partake in the survey and the final decision will be benefiting everyone.
I humbly thank our president, Mr. Sean for inviting our view on how to improvise the campus at
‘St. Mary’s College, Alberta’. Having been as small college, adding a new computer center will add
to campus versatility as well as enhance utility for students.

To illuminate further, computers are today’s things, almost every question lands a computer of
sorts, wouldn’t you agree sir? Most students are not native and have to hustle to find resources to
complete projects that require research. I once had to attach a lot of prints for a photography
project and it was a hectic task for me to find a place with good systems and printers under one
roof. Having one in the campus will ease our tasks and increase our time management and
productivity alike.

Being an educational institute, a commercial unit inside the campus will contradict the ideology. It
will attract a lot of pollution and outsiders. As its appropriately said “A campus is said safe when it
only accommodates its stakeholders well”. Besides, we already have a library and a cafeteria, so
the proposed alternative is redundant. Additionally, students of our age will not find much use for
a grocery store.

I believe that the final verdict will benefit everyone.

There is homework for today, search the SSs.

Can be anything, what you have to say is: What, where, when, how

Opening, closing and contents are important

Topic:
Many things I regret but there is this one thing I regret the most is buying a preowned car.
Although its more than a decade, the horrors are still fresh. It was Tata. However, the experience
was not as amicable as I expected it to be. First things first, the reason I actually wanted to switch
cars was the car I already owned was very huge for city rides and I wanted to switch to something
smaller. Sadly, the very day I bought; it broke down even before I could make it to home. To add
to my misery, it suffered complete engine failure and the repair cost was even more than the car
itself in the first place. Finally, as a good riddance I sold it right after the repair. It was a horrible
one year of ownership.

New kind of food:

Goa, tried local cuisine
Avid traveler, habitual to trying local food
The dish is called surmai vindalho
Speciality is vindalho, made from local spices
One of the most recommendable dishes I have tried.

There was this once,

I was driving to Rajasthan s fam
I got a call and got distracted, one of ny car’s tyres hit a huge boulder
Immediately I knew I was in a soup as it went immediately flat
Luckily I had a spare but to my surprise, when I tried to remove the flat one
And out of nowhere there appeared the state highway patrol car
They took no time in assessing the situation and were on their toes before I could realise
With prof equ, they quickly removed and installed the spare. We were good to go.

Free parking, since we will be seeing a lot of guests it will add to the value of choice
4 acres of natural land to explore

Cause a lot of inconvenience. It is only a quarter of an acre, will not be sufficient for the number of

Also, since here we will be independently operating, we will have to manage the décor and other

I believe you will surely see reason and will support my choice.

Practice Task 1:

Your colleague Karen – Check SS.

Hi Karen,
I hope you are faring well.

According to me, picnics ought to be optional.

Practice Task 2:

Hi Anya,
Greetings for the day!

I hope you are not too preoccupied for a small talk, are you?
I think we should keep it to ourselves what we overheard yesterday
FTF, its none of our businesses to poke our noses into someone else’s affairs, as they say ignorance
is a bliss. Besides you know how Tina takes to sad news, she is already an overthinker, remember
how she reacted when we forgot to invite her for movie a couple of weeks ago? That being said, I
understand you mean well and want Tina to be aware but may be indirectly persuade her, take a
different course of action. David feels the same too.

Get back to me and maybe we can discuss this at length.

Practice Task 3:

Dear Brother
Hope you had a fantastic weekend.

From what I understand, the most recent disagreement between you and our sis Victoria is
regarding whether to invite James, right?
If I am being honest, none of us have ever heard from him in ages. He hasn’t as much as called you
on you wedding forget being physically here as family should. Now, I know you want to let
buygones be buygones and start afresh with everyone, rebond as family but I believe James can
never surpass your love for Victoria, she hates people who smoke and we all know James, he is a
compulsive chain smoker. Not to forget how she can barely stand the stench smoking leaves, she
can barely stay in the room.

Our sister being our primary family and treasure, I think listen to Victoria.

Practice Task 4:

Dear Pri,
Greetings for the day!

Your thoughtfulness and participation gladdens my heart.

However, on this particular subject, I would like to bring to your knowledge certain things.
You believe we do not know Ming and we should not be contributing but firstly, the asking amount
is not too high. Besides, making a senior citizen happy should content our hearts, I know how
noble of a heart you have. Do you recall the other day at the grocery store you added to the
difference an elderly woman was falling short? Think of it as same kind of help for Ming. On a
lighter note, don’t you forget even I will retire someday, how should such a behavior towards me
make you feel?

So, I advise stress less on a meagre $30 and enjoy more. Have a nice day.

Practice Task 5:

Practice Test 1: Do you think the government should provide free internet access to any citizen
who needs it?

Internet has been a very sensitive topic since its inception

Over the decades, we have seen how its usage has evolved
I think the government should not provide free internet
Firstly, its taxpayers precious and hard-earned money that should go to the problems that really
need attention
Internet is already quite affordable, if you look at the cost over the years it has dramatically gone
down?
Also, free internet is debatable, as there comes the question of bandwidth, latency etc.
I am aware why some people think if should be free but for benefit of some we cannot hamper the
upliftment of the majority
To add, there is a lot of internet abuse lately that can be seen amongst the elders and the
youngsters alike.
I believe the current chargeable access is not creating a rift against smooth functioning of our
society.
So, to divert the funds to much better causes I think we do not really free internet.

Practice Test 2: Do you think companies should limit the amount their CEOs and Senior Managers
make?

The responsibilities and the earnings of the CEOs and the Senior Managers in a company has
always been a subject of controversy.
So, yes according to me there must be a cap onto how much the CEOs or the Senior staff should
draw from the company.
Since many of the subordinates think that they are the ones that contribute with the least work
and benefit the most of the bearings of their hard work.
Some recent surveys have shown that the upper management comprise for more than 40% of the
companies’ annual salary distribution.
So, if there is an upper limit set, companies can save a lot of their funds and use them for
incentives for the workers that feel underpaid and in turn also increase their indulgence and
productivity. A certain win-win for all.

One more subject that has recently become known was it is the senior staff that is at the most risk
of being fired under the corporate term cost-cutting.
Although some people would disagree, setting a mark on the highest takeout salary will benefit all
equally.
So yes, for the greater good of all, we need to set a bar on the salaries of the top-brass.
Practice Test 3: Do you think junk food should be banned in universities.

Junk food has been a trouble since more than a couple of decades and for humans of all ages.
So, as far as university students are concerned, I strongly advice against the accessibility and
availability to the youngsters.
The word ‘junk’ itself means waste or discarded. It is aptly named as there are a lot of undesirables
in it.
As there is a lot of usage of different types of chemicals and preservatives used during its
preparation, it has a lot of health hazards.
Having our kids eating such food items from a very young age surely is a subject of concern.
A survey said more than 50% of American kids under the age 18 are obese and the major factor
leading to this disorder is the junk food.
The same survey also said the corporates are benefiting from the gullibility of the youngsters, as
they are easily fooled with taste and do not think twice of their health.
But as their parents and mentors its our duty to make sure that they have limited access to edible
items are proven to harm them if consumed regularly.

So, before it is too late, the universities should act and ban junk food and rather switch to
healthier options.

Practice Task 4:

Yes
They are adults
They must have a say
It will increase their knowledge
45% of the citizens comprise of young adults between 18-23
If not, they will not know who is what, what needs to be done in our area
Sense of responsibility
When they pay tax, they know whom are they giving their hard earned money and where it is
going to be used.
So, I think they it should be mandatory for everyone above 18 to vote.

Speaking:

Task 8: Describe an unusual situation

Example Task 1 (Check SS)

Situation where you must indulge yourself and imagine you are in the picture.
Example (Check SS)
Introduce yourself, where you are, why you are calling, describe the unusual object, the
surroundings, the possible risk factors, and possible actions that will solve the problem and
closing.

Hello 911, This is Dhaval. I am on Alberta State Highway and I would like to report a dangerous
situation. There is a red SUV right in front of me that has its rear right wheel way out of its
alignment and apparently the driver or the codriver are unaware of the situation. This is an un-
guarded highway banked by a huge lake on the right and huge cliffs on the right about 30 KMs off
Edmonton.

The wheel that is hanging in the balance might abruptly leave the car, this may result in the car
diving right into the lake or the other most likely option being it hitting the cliffs. It seems the
vehicle is driven by elderly people, hence the negligence. But if you can alert a patrol car nearby, it
will save a massive accident and the lives of people on board.

Being a responsible co-traveller, I am trying my level best to be of assistance.

Any help would be great.
Thanks

Practice Task 2:

Hello Katherine,
Are you up for a little chat? Because I so want to share something that is your subject of interest?
I am walking along a boulevard on the Great Berns Street and guess what did I just see!
A lady wearing a candy-ice cream themed high heel.
Can you believe the vividness?

Lemme give it a shot and describe it to you.

So, the heels are made up of red gummy bear candy, the beginning of the sole is a cupcake with a
beautiful little cherry atop white vanilla spread, the upper all the way to the collar is made of
fabric most probably canvass. Do you know

Too good to be true, right? I am sure you are desperate to have a glance of it yourself.
For now, cherish what you have from me.
Adios, see you soon.

Practice Task 3:

Hello, People for pets, Peels, Toronto.

I am at the central park on the easter end where there is a dog walk.
I am calling to report a very peculiar pet who seems to be on its own.
It has a two layered leafy brownish pink tail
Above its neck it has throny tentacles
It is a quadra pod but it only has four fingers
There is a blue collar with a name tag but I am not sure if I am comfortable going near it
Since you are the closest animal shelter in the vicinity, I believe the person who might have lost
the pet might have already approached you or will approach soon.
Please get here and do the needful.

Practice Task 4:

Hello Amazon Canada?

This is Dhaval, and I am calling to report an issue with my most recent order.
Locate the order with order id
It is a wooden daybed bordered with teak wood painted in olive green
The seating surfaced with a baby blue colored fabric; it gets delivered with a neckroll of the same
fabric.
I got the delivery earlier this morning, but to my surprise

I believe it would be fantastic if you get it replaced with a new one and get in touch with the
vendor and make sure this does not happen with me or with anyone else.
Good day. Thanks.
