VII. OBJECTIVES:
1. To give importance on understanding ethical and moral dilemmas in radiologic technology field.
2. To establish ways of handling ethical and moral predicaments in radiologic technology field.
3. To instill knowledge about clinical decision-making while maintaining a professional relationship.
VIII. RATIONALE
In radiologic technology, professionals are legally liable in every action they do in the field such
as daily performance of procedures and management of patients. Besides, radiologic technologists
face ethical and moral distresses in the work field. The webinar will assist students in evaluating
moral standards and diverse behaviors in the radiologic technology field that will help them handle
the ethical dilemmas in the field, as well as prepare them for their future profession as a radiologic
technologist.
IX. PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The first-year students of Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology in collaboration with the
Association of Radiologic Technology Students will be hosting a webinar. The webinar will focus on
dealing with the ethical and moral anguish in the radiologic technology field. The webinar is entitled,
“Vigilance of RAD-T: Radiologic Technologist Awareness on Ethical Dilemmas Today” on May 12, 2023
via Zoom Cloud Meetings and Facebook Live. It prepares students about the reality in the radiologic
technology field to be future and job ready. In addition, it serves as a partial fulfillment for the ethics
subject of the first-year students of Bachelor of Science in Radiologic Technology.
