Greetings!

The Association of Radiologic Technology Students will conduct a Breast Cancer and
Mammography Talk with the theme: “Breaking the Stigma towards Breast Cancer” on October 28,
2022, from 8:00 am to 12:00 noon at the USI Mini Theater. This activity is timely and relevant,
especially since October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. The organization aims to educate the
students, correct some misconceptions, and help early detection and prevention of breast cancer.

In line with this, we are inviting the Nursing Students’ Association to join us at the said event. May we
request at least 10 representatives from your program, preferably female, to attend the talk; rest assured
that we will provide the necessary excuse letters for the selected participants. We hope to have the
organization in this informative talk together with the other College of Health and Sciences organizations.
