1. Home/Accommodation

 What kind of housing/accommodation do you live in?

For the past 20 years, I have been living in a house with my family. But now, when I
live far from my parents, I have an independent life in a bedsit with my friend.

 Who do you live with?

Recently, when I go to HN to study in my university, I live with my close friend. Our

relationship has lasted for 5 years, but we have been living together for 1 year.

19 edpidemic, I must to study online at home.

 What’s the difference between where you are living now and where you have lived
in the past?

Hmm, let me see. There’s quiet a few differences. The first thing is that my parents’
house is huge with separate rooms, therfore, I own a bedroom with my private space,
but it’s not true when I live in bedsit. Furthermore, there is no kitchen for me to cook my
favorite dishes in my bedsit.

 Do you plan to live there for a long time?

That was never my plan. As I said, there are many unconvinent things in my present
bedsit. So, I’m going to find a new one with larger space and kitchen so that I can prepare
many delicious meals.

I think it’s the kitchen. Because after a long hours at work, we often prepare dinner meal

asking their children. And I always enjoy that cozy atmosphere.

Not even slightly! The bus stations are always crowed with people who are really
inappropriate and always talking out loud. The floors are so dirty that I don’t even want
to step inside a station.

To be honest, I would have to go for a house. There’s usually more space, the water
supply is much more reliable. Especially, It often has a garden for me to grow my
favorite flowers

I have my own room with walls painted pink, which is kind of adorable color. It’s near
the garden and the air outside is fresh. So I usually open the window to enjoy the wind
and sunshine, which help cool down my room without an air conditioner. Since I spend a
lot of time staying at home, my room means the whole world to me. It’s like a friend who
is always there to share ups and downs with me. So yeah, I would always miss my room
whenever I’m away.

 What part of your home do you like the most?

- Definitely Facebook although it will probably be overthrown by Tiktok in the not-

too-distant future. This is because Facebook doesn’t resonate as well with young
users as Tiktok does.

33. Snacks

 What snacks did you eat when you were young?

- Junk food like crisps, chocolate, and biscuits.

 When do you usually eat snacks now?

- Around mid-morning and at about 3PM, because I feel hungry at that time and
need something to have more energy.

 Do you think it is healthy for you to eat snacks?

- Of course not. All kind of fast food is bad for health. Especially when eating at
night, it’s easy to uncontrol our weight.
Part 2

A time when you overcame difficulties in doing something and succeeded.

A positive change that you made in your life.
A difficult decision that you made and had a good result.
A disagreement you had with someone.
 For as long as I could remember, my parents had always wanted me to become a
doctor. They had always pushed me to excel in science and math and had planned
out my future since I was a child. But deep down, I knew that it wasn't my passion.
I had always been interested in digital business and the idea of being able to fight
for justice and make a difference in the world.
 But I never had the courage to tell my parents, I was afraid of disappointing them
and losing their support. As the university entrance exam was coming soon, I
knew that it was now or never.
I couldn't go through with a career that I didn't have any passion for, it would be a
waste of time and energy. I decided to pursue my dream of becoming a
businessman and I tried to persuade my parents. It was a difficult conversation,
and we had a fight, I explained to them my reasons and how much it meant to me.
But they couldn't understand it, they thought I was throwing away my future and
my potential. But I stood my ground, I knew that I couldn't let this opportunity
pass me by, I had to be true to myself.
 Eventually, after some time and talking, my parents saw how much this meant to
me and how I was determined to make it happen. They gave me their approval, it
was a bittersweet moment for me, it was a huge relief but also a reminder of how
hard it was to go against their wishes.
 Deciding to become a businessman was a positive change in my life. It allowed
me to pursue my passion and use my skills to make a difference in the world. I
was finally able to be true to myself and it brought a sense of fulfillment and
happiness that I never thought was possible.
 My parents, who at first were not happy, have now seen the positive impact in my
life and are proud of my decision. It was a hard step, but it was a positive change
in my life, now I am following my heart and studying what I love. I am excited for
the future and the opportunity to make a difference in the world through the law.

A time when you need to search for information.

 One time when I needed to search for information was when I was planning a trip
to Japan. I had never been there before, so I wanted to make sure I was well-
prepared and had all the necessary information. I turned to Google to help me find
out about the best places to visit, the culture and customs of Japan, and the things
to keep in mind while travelling there.
 I searched for information on popular tourist destinations, such as Tokyo and
Kyoto, and found out about the must-see attractions in each city. I also searched
for information on local customs and etiquette, such as how to bow properly and
the importance of taking off your shoes before entering someone's home.
 In addition, I used Google to find out about transportation options in Japan, such
as the train system and how to get around different cities. I also looked up
information on the best times to visit and the climate during different seasons.
 Overall, using Google to search for information while planning my trip to Japan
was incredibly helpful. It allowed me to learn about the country and its culture,
and to make informed decisions about my itinerary and travel plans.

Describe a websibe you regularly visit.

 I'd like to talk about Shopee, which is an online shopping platform that I regularly
visit to buy various products. Shopee is one of the most popular e-commerce
websites in my country, and it offers a wide range of products such as electronics,
fashion items, groceries, and many more.
 In the past, I used to go to stores to buy things for myself, but when Covid-19
epidemic broke out, I was restricted from going out, so I switched to Shopee.
 Now, I usually visit Shopee whenever I need to purchase something, and I find it
very convenient to use. The website has a user-friendly interface that allows me to
search for products easily and filter them based on my preferences. Shopee also
offers various discounts and promotions that make it more affordable to shop
online.
 What I like most about Shopee is its reliable delivery service. Once I place an
order, I can track its status and receive updates on its estimated delivery time. In
most cases, I receive my orders within a few days, which is much faster than
shopping at physical stores.
 Overall, Shopee has become an essential website for me whenever I need to buy
something. It saves me time and effort, and I can always find good deals on the
products I want to purchase.

Your favorite place in your house where you can relax.

An important thing you learned (not at school or college) (2)
Describe a routine you have in your life that you enjoy.
An object that you think is beautiful.

 As an avid gardener, there's nothing I love more than spending time in my little
garden oasis. I may not have a large plot of land to work with, but I've learned that
even a small garden can be a thing of beauty.
 (I first became interested in gardening when I was a child, helping my parents tend
to their vegetable garden. As I grew older, I began to develop a passion for plants
and decided to learn more about gardening. I started by reading books and
watching tutorials, and eventually, I gained enough knowledge and confidence to
start my own garden. Over time, I've continued to learn and experiment,
discovering new plants and techniques that have helped me create the beautiful
garden I have today.) (2)
 Every morning, I start my day with a cup of coffee and head outside to check on
my plants. I begin by watering them and checking the soil moisture to ensure
they're getting the right amount of water. I also check for any pests or signs of
disease, making sure to address any issues right away to prevent them from
spreading.
 One of my favorite things about my garden is the variety of plants I have growing
there. I've carefully chosen a mix of flowers, herbs, and vegetables, each with its
unique beauty and purpose. Some of my favorites include fragrant lavender, bright
sunflowers, and juicy tomatoes.
 In addition to tending to my plants, I also make sure to keep my garden tidy by
regularly weeding and trimming any dead or overgrown foliage. I take pride in
keeping my little plot of land looking neat and well-maintained.
 Despite the work involved, gardening is a hobby that brings me so much joy and
satisfaction. There's nothing quite like watching a tiny seedling grow into a
beautiful, thriving plant, and knowing that I had a hand in its creation. And at the
end of a long day, there's nothing more relaxing than sitting in my garden,
surrounded by the beauty of nature.

A programme that you enjoyed very much (on TV or Internet) (1)

A movie you watched recently and would like to watch again. (2)
A story or novel you have read that you found interesting (3)
A character from a film or TV show
Some weeks ago, I was in the middle of the finals, which was a nerve-racking time for
me, so I desperately needed sth to let my hair down. After hours of searching on the
Internet, I came across a (TV series/comic book series) called Doraemon, which got tons
of good reviews.
- Program/Film/Story: Actually, this is my first time watching this super famous
series, but I was completely memerized by it. You know, The Doraemon
films/books have acquired a reputation for their use of humorous storylines and
interresting characters. They were unlikely anything I had ever seen before. I
particularly enjoyed how Doraemon, who is the main character, used his magic
wand to help Nobita-his close friend-overcome difficulties. It was also fascinating
to see the relationship between friends including Nobita, Shizuka, Chaiko, Xeko
and Doraemon, like other children, they often have struggle, however, it’s easy to
forgive and go back to normal relationship. Sometimes, they protect and make fun
of each other. Besides, the anime character design and visual effects are also
excellent, making each scence a visual treat. Finally, I am obsessed with the way
that theme music in the films captures the mood perfectly. It likes ……

impressed by his magic wand that helps Nobita-his close friend-overcome some
difficulties and do some new things that he hasn’t done before. Some treasures
have come true such as driveless, 3D print machine. Howerver, I want I own a
magic door of him that I can go back to the past to correct some mistakes also se
myself and the world in the future.
Overall, the Doraemon films/stories are some of my favarite movies/stories of all time.
And I think it will continue being likelihood of million children in the world.

Historical period you would like to know more.

 As someone who grew up during the turn of the millennium, I find the period from
2000 to 2010 particularly intriguing. This decade was marked by several
significant events that have had a lasting impact on our world today.
 One of the most notable events of this period was the 9/11 terrorist attacks in
2001. This tragedy changed the world forever, leading to increased security
measures, military interventions, and a heightened sense of fear and uncertainty
across the globe.
 In addition to 9/11, the period from 2000 to 2010 was characterized by a number
of other major world events, including the Iraq War, Hurricane Katrina, and the
global financial crisis of 2008. These events had a profound impact on politics,
economics, and culture, and continue to shape our world today.
 Another notable development during this period was the rise of the internet and
social media. Websites like Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube emerged as major
players in the digital landscape, transforming the way we communicate, consume
media, and interact with one another.
 Overall, I am fascinated by the events and trends that shaped the period from 2000
to 2010, and would love to learn more about this pivotal time in our history.

A time when you taught a friend or relative something

A piece of good news that you heard about someone you know well
 I would like to talk about a time when I taught my cousin some math skills. My
cousin was struggling with her math class and was feeling very frustrated because
she had an important exam coming up. She reached out to me for help because she
knew that I was good at math.
 At first, I wasn't sure how I could help her because I hadn't done any math in a
while. But I decided to take the time to go over some of the concepts with her, and
we started by reviewing some of the basics. We went over algebra and geometry,
and I showed her some tricks that I used to remember certain formulas and
equations.
 We spent a lot of time working together, and I could see that she was getting more
confident and comfortable with the material. I was really proud of her for being so
dedicated and motivated to learn, and it was a really rewarding experience to see
her improve.
 When she took her exam, she ended up doing really well and even got one of the
top scores in her class. I was thrilled for her and felt so proud that I had been able
to help her. It was a great reminder of how important it is to take the time to help
others and share knowledge when we can.

A festival or national holiday in your country

Something that you did with one or more people.
A long walk you had.
 One festival in my country that I love to attend and usually involves a long walk is
the Mid-Autumn Festival, also known as the Moon Festival. This festival is
celebrated on the 15th day of the eighth lunar month, which usually falls in
September or October.
 During the Mid-Autumn Festival, families and friends gather to appreciate the
beauty of the full moon, eat mooncakes, and carry colorful lanterns. Many cities
and towns in my country hold lantern parades and other cultural activities to mark
the occasion.
 Last year, I joined a lantern parade in my hometown. The parade started at a park
near my house and went through the main streets of the city. There were many
groups of people carrying lanterns of different shapes and sizes, ranging from
traditional ones with red paper and gold trimmings to modern ones with LED
lights and cartoon characters.
 As we walked, we sang traditional songs and cheered with the crowd. Children
were particularly excited and ran around with their lanterns, some shaped like
animals or cartoon characters. I remember feeling a sense of community and
belonging, as if we were all united in celebrating our cultural heritage.
 The walk lasted for about two hours, but it felt shorter because of the festive
atmosphere and the camaraderie among the participants. By the end of the parade,
we arrived at a large square where a stage was set up for performances and
speeches. We watched some traditional dances and listened to the local officials'
messages of goodwill and harmony.
 Overall, the Mid-Autumn Festival is one of my favorite national holidays, and I
always look forward to the lantern parade and the long walk that comes with it. It's
a time to celebrate our culture, connect with our community, and appreciate the
beauty of the moon and the night sky.

Describe an achievement that you are proud of

Something you did that made you feel pround.
Describe an award that you achieved.
 I would like to talk about an achievement/award that I am very pround of, which is
being awarded an academic scholarship at my university.
 During my first year of studying at university, I set a personal goal for myself to
maintain a high academic performance, and I worked hard to achieve this goal by
attending all of my lectures, completing all of my assignments on time, and
studying consistently throughout the semester. As a result of my efforts, I was
thrilled to find out that I had been awarded an academic scholarship for my
outstanding academic performance. Especially, I had a chance to represent for all
students in my class to receive this award in the opening ceremory of semester
because I had the highest score in my class.
 Receiving this scholarship was a huge accomplishment for me, as it not only
provided me with financial support for my studies, but also serves as a recognition
of my hard work and dedication. It also motivated me to continue striving for
academic excellence throughout the rest of my time at university.
 Overall, I am extremely proud of this achievement, and it has taught me the value
of setting goals and working hard towards them.

An impressive English lesson you had and enjoyed.

 One English lesson that I found impressive and enjoyable was during my freshman
year of university. My professor wanted us to have the opportunity to practice our
speaking and listening skills with a native English speaker at Hồ Tây, a beautiful
lake in Hanoi.
 During the lesson, we walked around the lake, got to know the English natives and
talked about a variety of topics such as culture, food, and travel. The instructor
was very patient and encouraging, which made me feel comfortable to express
myself and practice my English without fear of making mistakes.
 What I enjoyed the most about this lesson was that it was not just focused on
grammar and vocabulary, but also on real-life communication skills. I learned a lot
of new words and expressions, but more importantly, I gained confidence in my
ability to speak English and communicate effectively with a native speaker.
 Overall, this English lesson was not only informative but also fun and memorable.
It was a unique and enjoyable way to improve my language skills and experience
the beautiful scenery of Hồ Tây.

Describe an important text message you received

 I remember receiving a text message from my sister which was very important to
me. She had been living abroad for a few years and we hadn't had the chance to
talk to each other properly for a long time. One day, I received a message from her
saying that she was going to come back to our home country for a visit and wanted
to catch up with me.
 This message was very important to me because I missed her a lot and had been
hoping to see her again for a long time. We had always been very close and not
being able to talk to her frequently made me feel quite disconnected from her. So,
when I received this message, I was overjoyed and immediately replied,
expressing my excitement to see her.
 The text message also reminded me of the importance of keeping in touch with
loved ones, no matter where they are. It's easy to get caught up in our own lives
and forget about the people we care about, but receiving this message from my
sister made me realize how much I value our relationship and how important it is
to stay connected.

An advertisement you don’t like.

 One advertisement that I don't like is the ones that play on YouTube videos. I find
them quite annoying and disruptive when I'm trying to watch a video.
 One particular advertisement that stands out to me is a mobile game ad that
appears frequently. The ad features bright and flashy graphics and exaggerated
sound effects that grab your attention, but it's also quite repetitive and long. It lasts
for around 30 seconds and plays every time I try to watch a video on YouTube.
 What I find most frustrating about this ad is that it doesn't accurately represent the
actual gameplay of the game. The ad showcases the game as a fun and entertaining
experience, but in reality, the game is quite dull and repetitive.
 Furthermore, I also find it annoying that the ad appears so frequently that it
becomes difficult to skip it after a few seconds. I understand that advertising is
necessary for companies to promote their products, but I think there should be a
balance between advertising and user experience.
 Overall, I believe that ads on YouTube should be relevant and not overly intrusive
or repetitive, and should provide accurate representations of the products they
promote.

A piece of technology that you feel difficult to use.

A time someone give you a gift that you really want.
 On my the nineteenth birthday, I received a MacBook as a gift from my parents. I
was really excited to receive it as I had always wanted one, but I found it difficult
to use because I was not familiar with the Apple operating system. I had
previously only used Windows-based computers, so it was a bit of a learning curve
for me.
 I found it difficult to get used to the Mac keyboard shortcuts. On Windows, I was
used to using certain keyboard shortcuts to copy, paste, and save files. But on a
Mac, those shortcuts were different and it took me some time to memorize them.
 Despite the initial challenges, I was determined to make the most out of the gift
and learn how to use the MacBook. I spent a lot of time watching tutorials and
reading user guides online to familiarize myself with the system. Gradually, I
started to understand the unique features of the MacBook and how it was different
from other computers I had used in the past.
 In the end, I was really grateful for the gift and happy that I had put in the effort to
learn how to use it. It ended up being a really useful tool for me, particularly when
it came to creative tasks like photo editing and graphic design.

A home of someone you know well and that you often visit.
A person you know who loves to grow plants (eg. Vegetables, fruits, flower etc.)
 My grandfather was a man with a green thumb. He loved nothing more than
spending time in his house with a beautiful garden, tending to his plants and
watching them grow. As a child, I used to love visiting him and spending time
with him in his garden.
 He had all sorts of plants in his garden - from bright flowers to leafy vegetables.
He would spend hours watering them, trimming them, and talking to them as if
they were his children. He knew everything about them, from their names to their
ideal growing conditions.
 His garden was a place of peace and tranquility. The air was always fresh and
fragrant, and  I could just hear the breezes gently blowing through leaves and
birds chirping on the tops of some old banyan trees. I like to get immersed in
its tranquility as it was like therapy for the soul.I remember spending countless
afternoons sitting in the garden, listening to my grandfather's stories about his
plants and the adventures he had had with them.
 (Despite his age, my grandfather never lost his passion for gardening. Even when
he had trouble walking, he would shuffle out to the garden with his cane and spend
hours tending to his plants. His love for gardening was infectious, and soon, my
siblings and I started taking an interest in it too.)
 Years have passed since those lazy afternoons spent in my grandfather's garden,
but his love for plants has left a lasting impression on me. Whenever I see a
beautiful flower or a well-manicured garden, I think of him and smile. His garden
may have been just a small patch of land, but to me, it was a place of wonder and
magic - a place where my grandfather's love for plants came alive.

An object that you think is beautiful.

 One object that I find incredibly beautiful is the Vietnamese traditional dress,
known as the áo dài. The áo dài is a long, flowing dress that is often worn for
special occasions, such as weddings or Tet, the Vietnamese Lunar New Year.
 What I find so stunning about the áo dài is the way it effortlessly combines
elegance and simplicity. The dress is usually made from lightweight silk or cotton,
and it gently hugs the curves of the body without being too tight or revealing. The
sleeves are long and flowing, and the collar is high and upright, giving the dress an
air of sophistication and grace.
 In addition to its beauty, the áo dài is also a symbol of Vietnamese culture and
tradition. It has been worn by Vietnamese women for centuries, and it represents
the grace and femininity that are valued in Vietnamese society.
 Overall, I think the áo dài is a truly beautiful object, and it represents the rich
cultural heritage of Vietnam. Whenever I see someone wearing an áo dài, I am
struck by its beauty and elegance, and I am reminded of the timeless traditions that
have shaped Vietnamese culture for generations.
An interesting old person you met.
A person you know who is from a different culture.
 One interesting old person that I met who was from a different culture was an
elderly Japanese man that I met while traveling in Japan a few years ago.
 I had just arrived in Tokyo and was exploring the city when I visited small park
where the man was practicing tai chi. I watched for a while and was impressed by
his skill and gracefulness, so I struck up a conversation with him.
 Despite the language barrier, we managed to communicate through a mix of
gestures and broken Japanese and English. He told me that he had been practicing
tai chi for over 50 years and that it was a way of life for him.
 He also shared with me some insights into Japanese culture and tradition,
including the importance of mindfulness and the concept of finding beauty in
imperfection and transience.
 It was fascinating to hear his perspective and to learn about a culture that was so
different from my own. We ended up spending the afternoon together, and he even
invited me to join him for tea at a nearby teahouse.
 Meeting this interesting old man was one of the highlights of my trip to Japan, and
I will always remember the lessons and insights that he shared with me.

The first day you went to school

An unusual meal you had
Something you had to share with others

 (I can still remember like it was yesterday about my first day at school and that
was also the first day I met my soulmate.)
 When I was a child, the first day of school was such a big deal. I was excited and
nervous all at once. I can remember vividly that my mom packed me a sandwich
for lunch, but when I arrived at the school canteen, I was intrigued by the unusual
smell coming from a dish I had never seen before.
 Curiosity got the best of me, and I decided to try it out. It turned out to be a
delicious mix of rice, beans, and vegetables, all seasoned with a spicy sauce that
tickled my taste buds. I felt adventurous and proud of myself for trying something
new.
 As I sat down to enjoy my lunch, I noticed a new girl sitting by herself. I could tell
that she was shy and nervous, just like me. So, I mustered up the courage to ask if
she wanted to sit with me. She hesitated for a moment before accepting my
invitation.
 I offered her a bite of my meal, and to my surprise, she loved it. We started
chatting and discovered that we had a lot in common, including a passion for spicy
food. We bonded over the meal and ended up finishing it together.
 From that day on, we became close friends, and we always sat together during
lunchtime. We even started bringing our own spicy dishes to share with each
other. It was amazing how a simple meal could bring two people together and
form a lifelong friendship.

A photo you took that you are pround of

 I remember a photo that I took during my trip to the beach with my family. It
was a beautiful summer day, the sun was shining, and the sky was clear. We
were walking along the shore when I saw this breathtaking view of the ocean.
 I quickly grabbed my phone and captured the scene. In the photo, I can see the
my parents and my younger sister against the backdrop of a stunning yellow
and blue sky. My dad is holding my sister's hand and they are both walking
towards the water, while my mom is standing a few feet behind them, admiring
the view. The colors and composition were perfect. I was so proud of the photo
that I showed it to everyone in my family and they were all impressed.
 I decided to print the photo and frame it. It's now hanging on the wall in my
bedroom, and every time I look at it, it takes me back to that wonderful
moment at the beach. I am so proud of that photo and the memories it holds for
me.

A complaint that you made and you were satisfied with

A problem you had while shopping online or in a store
A time you made a decision to wait for something

 This topic’s reminiscent of one time that I had conflicts with an electronic store.
 Last year, I made the decision to buy a new laptop online. After conducting some
research, I found a highly-rated seller on a popular e-commerce platform and
placed my order.
 However, I had to wait for a significant amount of time for it to arrive. I was
getting anxious and frustrated because I needed the laptop for work, and the delay
was causing me inconvenience. So, I decided to contact the customer service team
and make a complaint.
 To my surprise, the customer service team was very understanding and helpful.
They listened to my concerns and apologized for the delay, assuring me that they
were doing their best to get the laptop delivered to me as soon as possible. They
also offered me a discount on my next purchase as a gesture of goodwill.
 Eventually, my laptop arrived, and I was delighted with its quality and
performance. I realized that my complaint had been handled efficiently, and the
customer service team had gone out of their way to ensure my satisfaction. From
then on, I became a loyal customer of that online store and have had many positive
experiences since.

A time receive money as a gift.

 One time I received money as a gift was during my graduation ceremony from
high school. My family and friends came to celebrate my achievement, and they
all brought different kinds of gifts. However, one of my uncles gave me a red
envelope with some cash inside. It was a traditional gift that is commonly given
during special occasions in my culture, such as weddings or graduations.
 I was very grateful for the gift, as it was a significant amount of money, and I
knew my uncle had worked hard to earn it. I thanked him and gave him a hug, and
we took some photos together to remember the special moment. Later that day, my
family and I went out for dinner to celebrate my graduation, and I treated them to
the meal with the money that I had received.
 Receiving money as a gift may not be the most personal gift, but it is a practical
one that can be very useful, especially during special occasions when expenses can
be high. I felt fortunate to have received such a generous gift and was happy to be
able to share it with my loved ones.

A sport you enjoyed when you were young.

A popular place for sports that you have been to

 One sport that I really enjoyed when I was young was playing badminton. I
remember my parents used to take me to a nearby sports center every weekend
to play with my siblings and some friends. We would spend hours playing and
practicing, and I always looked forward to those weekends.
(One popular place for sports that many people have been to is the sport center
in their hometown. These centers often have a variety of facilities for different
types of sports, such as basketball, tennis, swimming, and weightlifting. They
are usually open to the public and offer a range of programs and classes for
people of all ages and skill levels.
The sport center was also a popular spot for organized sports programs, such as
basketball and swimming lessons for kids, and adult fitness classes. Many local
sports teams would also practice and hold games at the center, so there was
always a lot of activity and energy around the place.)
 I loved playing badminton because it was a fast-paced game that required a lot
of speed and agility. It was also a great way to improve my hand-eye
coordination. I enjoyed the feeling of hitting the shuttlecock and watching it
soar over the net, and I loved trying to outsmart my opponents by hitting the
shuttlecock to unexpected places on the court.
 Another thing that I loved about playing badminton was the social aspect. It
was a great way to spend time with friends and family and bond over a shared
activity. We would often have friendly competitions and challenges, which
made it even more fun and exciting.
 Looking back, I realize how much playing badminton helped me develop
important skills such as teamwork, communication, and perseverance. Even
though I don't play as much as I used to, I still have fond memories of those
weekends spent playing badminton with my loved ones.

A time when you missed/forgot/late an appointment/meeting.

 One time, I missed an important meeting with my dentist. Back then, I had
been scheduled for a routine check-up, but I completely forgot about it and
ended up missing the appointment.
 At the time, I was juggling a lot of things at school, which included my
studying and some extracurricular activities also. As a result, I had been feeling
quite stressed and overwhelmed. I had been working long hours and was
struggling to balance my personal life with other responsibilities. So, when the
day of the appointment arrived, it completely slipped my mind.
 It wasn't until I received a reminder call from the dentist's office a few hours
later that I realized my mistake. I felt a wave of panic wash over me as I
realized that I had missed the appointment.
 When I called the office to apologize, I felt embarrassed and ashamed. I knew
that I had let myself down and that my carelessness had consequences. They
were understanding, but they couldn't reschedule me for a few days. This only
added to my stress, as I worried that any dental issues I had could worsen in the
meantime.
 It was the first and only time I had forgotten something of such importance,
and I learnt a valuable lesson from it - no matter how hard I may try to rely on
my memory alone, I need to take the extra step and note down important events
in my calendar.

A new development in the area where you live (e.g shopping mall, park, mall)
A time when you saw a lot of plastic waste (e.g in a park, on the beach, …)
A place you visited that has affected by air pollution.

 A new shopping mall had just opened in my neighborhood in Hanoi, and it was a
much- needed addition to the area. The mall was modern, spacious and it had a
wide variety of shops and restaurants. It was great to finally have a place like this
in our neighborhood, and it brought a lot of new job opportunities and businesses.
 However, as I was walking around the mall, I noticed something alarming. There
was a lot of trash, particularly plastic waste, scattered throughout the mall. The
mall management had not put proper measures in place to manage the waste and
it was affecting the environment. The plastic waste was not only unsightly but also
a health hazard to both the visitors and the surrounding community. The stench of
garbage in the area was overwhelming and it was hard to enjoy the shopping
experience. The smell of the trash had also polluted the surrounding
neighborhoods as well, it was hard to enjoy the fresh air and it was a major
concern for the residents.
 I noticed that the mall management had started to take some steps to reduce the
amount of litter. They had set up recycling bins and designated trash collection
points. They also had started an awareness campaign to educate the visitors about
the importance of keeping the area clean and not littering. Additionally, they had
also employed staff to ensure that the trash was properly disposed and to keep the
area clean.
 The mall had brought a lot of benefits to the local economy, but it was clear that
the environmental impact needed to be addressed. The mall management should
be more proactive in managing the waste and ensure that the mall is not only a
great place to shop but also a clean and safe environment for the community and
the surrounding neighborhoods.
