Magazine Proposal

Title: The Wire

Positioning statement - Keeping you entertained all year round!

Genre - Sport - Rugby League

Frequency - Monthly

Pages - 56

Price - £3

Purpose - The purpose of a Warrington Wolves magazine is to get the fans more engaged
in the club, and especially to keep them entertained during the off season. The fans want to
see the best about the club so spreading good news and doing interviews with the most
popular members at the club will engage the audience and make them want to buy the
magazine.

Target audience - The target audience that I will be targeting will be Warrington fans aged
11+. The magazine will also target all genders who have an interest in Warrington Wolves
hoping to get more detail about the club and more understanding on individual players’
welfare and the way they got into the sport to help the younger generation to pick up the ball
and play.

Style - The magazine style that I have chosen is informative for people to pick up the
magazine and to get them engaged when they see the front cover. It is also there to give the
fans a background story of some players and to keep them interested when it is the long
off-season and for the club to make some more money.
