A RESOLUTION RECOGNIZING BINGAY FARMERS ASSOCIATION


[BIFA] AS THE OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE (O&M) GROUP FOR
THE COMPLETED SUB-PROJECT OF CYCLE 1 CONSTRUCTION OF
ONE (1) UNIT MULTI-PURPOSE BUILDING, CYCLE 2 CONCRETING
OF 0.239 KM PUROK AVOCADO ACCESS ROAD , CYCLE 3
0.200KM. PUROK NANGKA, SITIO LIANG ACCESS ROAD AND
CYCLE 4 INSTALLATION OF TEMPORARRY FACILITIES WITH PPE
AND MEDICAL SUPPLIES IN RESPONSE TO COVID-19 CRISIS
FUNDED BY DSWD KALAHI CIDSS: NCDDP.

WHEREAS, The Municipality of BORBON is a recipient of KALAHI CIDSS


PROJECTS;

WHEREAS, the KALAHI-CIDSS project employs COMMUNITY DRIVEN


DEVELOPMENT (CDD) approach, giving community groups control over
planning decision and investment of resources for local development;

WHEREAS, in the KALAHI CIDSS project there is a need for Operation and
Maintenance (O&M) for the sustainability of the implemented Sub-Projects funded
by KALAHI-CIDSS;

WHEREAS, BINGAY FARMERS ASSOCIATION [BIFA] is an existing and


active Association in the barangay;

WHEREAS, a community volunteer approach BINGAY FARMERS


ASSOCIATION [BIFA] to become Operation and Maintenance (O&M) group
for the sustainability of the implemented Sub-Projects funded by KALAHI-CIDSS;

WHEREAS, the members of the association acknowledge the importance of


sustainability of the sub-project; thus they agreed and decided to accept the
responsibility in maintaining the sup-project;
WHEREAS, BINGAY FARMERS ASSOCIATION [BIFA] accepts and stand
as an Operation and Maintenance (O&M) Group;

Wherefore, on motion of HON. ALPIO Y. MONTEJO set duly


seconded by HON. JILOMER B. BLANQUERO,

BE IT RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY DONE, TO FORMALLY ACCEPT,


to recognize BINGAY FARMERS ASSOCIATION [BIFA] as the Operation and
Maintenance (O&M) Group for the sustainability of the implemented Sub-Projects
of CYCLE 1 CONSTRUCTION OF ONE (1) UNIT MULTI-PURPOSE
BUILDING, CYCLE 2 CONCRETING OF 0.239 KM PUROK
AVOCADO ACCESS ROAD , CYCLE 3 0.200KM. PUROK
NANGKA, SITIO LIANG ACCESS ROAD AND CYCLE 4
INSTALLATION OF TEMPORARRY FACILITIES WITH PPE AND

RESOLVED FURTHER, that copies of this resolution be forwarded to the


Barangay Sub-project Management Committee, and Area and Municipal
Coordinating Teams.
