AGIL KENYA For Web - tcm141-76354

AGIL is a post emergence herbicide that controls annual and perennial grass weeds in snow peas. [1] It is rapidly absorbed by weed leaves and translocated to the meristems, where it inhibits fatty acid synthesis through the ACCase pathway. [2] This vital process is disrupted, destroying key cell functions and resulting in chlorosis and collapse of the entire weed. [3] AGIL provides farmers effective and flexible control of hard-to-kill grasses, allowing crops to develop freely with no residue or restrictions on following crops.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Crops: snow peas.

Application rates according to type of weed and stage of weed development

Type of weed Stage of weed Rate (Lt/Ha)

3rd leaf to early tillering 0.5-1.0
Annual grass weeds
Mid tillering to shooting 1.0-1.2

Agropyron repens (15-20 cm) 1.0-2.0

Perennial grass weeds
Cynodon dactylon (15-20 cm) 1.0-2.0

Sorghum halepense At 30-40 cm in height 0.7-1.5

Application Timing
AGIL 100 EC can be applied at any time during the growing season independently of crop
development but after emergence of the grasses. Early stages of the grass weeds are more
susceptible to AGIL 100 EC than the late tillering or shooting stages. For best results,
AGIL 100 EC should be applied when the weeds are actively growing.

Always read the label carefully before use
