Fonts
How can font style be changed?

 Click on the drop-down menu on the front menu of the home tab.

 Pick a font which you want to apply to your document.

How can font size be changed?

 Choose "Font Size" from the font menu.


 Choose the size you want to use from the drop-down list.
 The text will be given the chosen size.

How can I search for text or other content within my content?

 Choose the Home tab menu, then select Find in the Editing menu.
 On the left side of the screen will appear a navigation and search bar.
 Type the word you want to appear in your document in this format.
 The option will locate the prior text or content that you wrote.

The best way to change text in a document?

Replace

 Click the Replace Button link under the Home tab menu.
 A dialogue window will show up.
 Write the replacement term in the appropriate position. locate what.
 Enter the term you want to be replaced with in the Replaced with field.
 Your term will be swapped out with the new one.

How should a cover page be added to my document?

 Click cover page under the pages option in the insert menu.
 The arrow list can be used to view additional cover pages.
 Choose the cover page choice that best fits your needs for your paper.
 The choice chosen will show as a cover page.

How may a blank page be added to a document?

Blank Page

 When you select Blank Page from the insert menu.


 A blank page will be added where your cursor was by selecting Blank Page
from the insert menu and then clicking the pages button.

How to add page breaks in a document?

 Choose Page Break from the inset menu's pages option.


 Your page will break from the location of your previous cursor.

How do you insert tables into a document?

 Choose the tables option from the insert menu.


 To view a drop-down list on various tables, click the arrow.
 Decide which table to include in your document.
 Your document will be updated with the chosen.

Illustrations
How do you insert images into your document?

 Click photos under the illustration option in the insert menu.
 For more possibilities, click the arrow.
 Choose the desired option, then select the image you wish to insert into your
document.
 Your document will now include the photo.

How may a shape be added to a document?

 Choose the shapes option from the insert menu. Shapes


 On the screen will display a drop-down menu.
 Choose the shape by clicking on it.
 Wherever you wish to add a form, position the cursor there.

How do you include SmartArt in a document?

 Choose SmartArt under the illustrations section of the insert menu.


Smart  A box containing the SmartArt will appear on the screen.
 You can either add the specifications you want in your SmartArt or choose the

 The SmartArt will be included based on your preferences.

 After you drag the arrow, the screenshot will be inserted immediately to the

How can you include Wikipedia content in your work?

 Choose the Wikipedia option under the Add-ins menu.

 To add a Wikipedia entry, select the accept and proceed option after reading
the agreement.

How to add online videos in your documents?

 Choose "Internet videos" from the insert tab's menu.


 There will be a box on the screen.
 Type the website address of the video you want to include in your document.
 Hit the "OK" button.
 You'll be able to add the video to your paper.

How to add a hyperlink to your document?

 Choose the Link button from the inert menu to add a hyperlink to a document.
 When you click Add Link, a dialogue box will prompt you for the link's
address.
 Press "ok" after writing the URL
 The document will also include the URL.

How to add bookmark to a document?

 Under the insert menu, select the bookmark button to add a bookmark.
 Once a box appears, choose it and then click OK.

 Go to insert in the header & footer menu click header.

 Select close footer or press esc to exit.

How to add a page number?

  Choose Page Number from the header & footer option on the insert tab.
 A drop-down menu will show up.
 Choose the choice by clicking on it.

 Your paper will include the page number.

How to add a textbox in a document?

  Set the cursor in the location of the text box.

document formatting menu in the design tab.
 The chosen title will be used for the entire document.

How to add a watermark?

 Choose Watermark from the Page Background menu under the Design tab.
 A drop-down menu will show up.
 Choose the preferred choice by clicking it, then hit OK.
 By clicking on the watermark, you may rename it and edit the text.

How to add a page color?

 Click the page color under the design tab of the menu for the page backdrop.
 Choose the color you wish to use on your page by clicking it.

How to add page borders?

 Click page borders in the design tab's page backdrop menu.


 There will be a box. To select a page border, click on it.
 press the "ok" button. Your current page or the location of the last time the
cursor was there will get a page border.

 Click margins under the layout tab of the page settings menu.
 A drop-down menu will show up.
 Choose the margins you want to apply to your document by clicking them.

 Choose either a landscape or a portrait by clicking.

 Click Insert Footnote on the footnote menu's Reference tab.

 From the research tab, select the search button and then navigate to the
references tab.
 On the right side, a box will appear.

 Click Insert Citations under the Citations & Bibliography group on the References
tab after placing a click at the end of the sentence or phrase you want to reference.

 Choose the citation you want to use from the list of references under "Insert

tab.
 Sort the sources you want to use in the list that appears by author, title,
citation tag name, or year in the sorting box.

 In the reference menu, from the caption's menu, click insert table of contents.
 You'll see a dialogue window.
 Be sure to include the specifications you desire in your table of figures.
 Choose "OK".

How to add cross reference?

Cross  Click cross reference under the reference menu in the caption's menu.
 A dialogue window will show up.

How to Search Thesaurus?

 Click the word you wish to search up in your document.

 Choose Thesaurus by clicking the Review tab.

 To replace your selected word with one of the terms from the list, point to it,
click the down arrow.

How to word count?

 Click Word count on the Review Tab to get a word count for your document.
 The data will show in a box that appears.

How to Translate?

 In your document, highlight the text you want to translate.

 Choose the Review tab, then choose Translate from language.

 To view the translation, select your language.


 Choose Insert. The highlighted text will be changed with the translated
version.

How to add comments?

Page  Click at the end of the text or choose the text you wish to remark on.

 Choose the bullets or numbers you want to use from the arrow menu.
 The specified bullets/numbers will be applied to your text.

How to change text alignment?

 To choose the alignment, click one of the following buttons in the paragraph
menu.
 Choose the alignment you want to use by clicking on it.
 Your document will be aligned as you like.

How to apply line spacing?

 To alter the line spacing, select this option from the paragraph menu.
 The chosen line-spacing will be used.

How to increase or decrease indent of a paragraph?

How to sort current selection in alphabetical or numerical order?

 To order your content, select the sort option from the paragraph menu.

 Choose the item you want to organise.

will appear.

 Choose the object you wish to change its shape on.


 Choose Shape Effect from the drawing menu on the home tab.

How to find text or other content in your content?

 Click home tab menu, in the editing menu click find.


 On the left side of the screen, a search bar will be shown for navigating.
 On your document, write the word you want to find.
 The selection will locate the words or information that you previously wrote.

How to replace a text in a document?

 You'll see a dialogue window.

 To rapidly add a screenshot of the screen to your desktop or take a screenshot,
