This three-day mathematics lesson plan focuses on teaching students how to divide decimal fractions. The lessons will use explanation, tasks with commentary, worksheets, and coding to review dividing whole numbers and then introduce multiplying the dividend and divisor by powers of ten to clear the decimals before dividing. Students will practice calculations from memory, written division, and applying the method to tasks individually and in pairs, using a textbook, exercises, and worksheet.
