Alsa E-Sep 2023 Technical Guidelines
1. Please install the Zoom software on your laptop / computer. You may download the
software here. The installation process will take a few minutes.
2. Second, to enter a Zoom meeting, click on “Join Meeting”. Next, key in the “Meeting
ID” and your name, then click “Join”. Your interface should look like:
3. Once you enter the Zoom meeting, you will be placed in the Waiting Room. Please wait
there until you are connected to the meeting by the host.
6. Please ensure your mics are muted throughout the session to prevent audio interference
when someone is speaking. However, all participants are encouraged to have your
cameras on throughout the session to ensure better engagement.
7. Should you have any questions during the Q&A session, ask ahead by typing “Dear
(Speaker’s name), I have a question. The emcee will have the speaker answer the
question or invite you to ask it yourself. Alternatively, you may type your question in the
chat box.
8. Please be reminded to not leave the meeting during the break. Instead, just switch off
your microphones and cameras while you stay in the call.
