Personal recount text exercise!

Name :Fariz Jihadi Hanifa

Please answer these following questions and analyse the social function and generic structure of the
following recount text.

By the end of the second semester last year, I went to Kupang with my sister. we booked a hotel
room in Aston Hotel for a two-night staycation.

After arriving at the hotel at 12 in the afternoon, the receptionist welcomed us. Then, one of them
helped us bringing

bags to the room we have booked a day before. When we entered the room, we loved the design of
the hotel room. After that, we took a rest for a moment.

When the sun was going down, we went down and took a walk around the beach which has
beautiful scenery around. There was a cozy cafe that was not far from our hotel. we went to the cafe
and sat on one of the sofas and ordered a medium glass of coffee. Then, we spent some time taking
some selfies with my iPhone camera. After we saw the sunset view, we went back to the hotel.

Staycation was my way to give myself a quality time among the busy routines.
