Unit 3 – Occupations
Score: 3 points
Deadline: Sunday, November 6th

GUIDELINES:

1. Make a Report in 2 pages Word describing a family member’s job/occupation.

PAGE 1:

Front page including your academic Information (University, name, Student ID etc.)

PAGE 2:

✓ 1 Picture of you and the chosen relative posing together (no matter the background)

✓ 1 picture of him /her in his/ her occupation, to support your paragraph, and

2. One paragraph between 180 and 200 words using simple present tense (Affirmative & Negative
statements). Use the following questions to organize your ideas better:

a) What is your relative’s name and how old is he/she?


b) What does he / she do?
c) What’s his/her work schedule?
d) What does he/she do at work exactly? Describe his/her job. Remember to describe using the present
simple, third person form, according to Unit 3 grammar in English Discoveries.
e) What does he/she need to be good at that job?

3. It is not a question–answer activity. REMEMBER it is a REPORT.

4. Include the number of words you use in your paragraph.

5. You must write all the different verbs in simple present in blue (affirmative and negative)
