vision of the whole group an the interaction will be better. You will have good communication
with your students too. Also I learnt that involve them and make them feel secure on the

-What have you learnt? Write down how you would like to develop your teaching.

I really like the part of pronunciation, for me, is really important to pronounce well to keep or
maintain a clear conversation. I would like to implement that time in my lessons. Focus at least 1
minute in each student to improve their pronunciation skills

Task 2. When the mentor didn't come in… : Imagine you are that teacher from the video.

After teaching a lesson unobserved by your mentor, evaluate your possible own performance.
Please answer the following questions in as much detail as possible.

--Questions about my teaching What difference did being alone in the classroom (i.e., without a
mentor) make to my teaching?

When I am alone in the classroom with a group of students and no professional is watching me I
think I’m in my comfort zone, I think there is always a little pressure or nervous to give my class
but I will try to the lesson plan

-How did I feel while I was teaching?

Nervous to make something bad or something incomplete

--Did I do anything differently than usual?

Keep my attention on things that I know I need to improve

-What did I set out to teach?

Vocabulary

--What teaching materials did I use? How effective were they?

Visual aids like projector, flash cards. I like to use more visual aids like those because some
students find boring long texts and they don’t get engage

..What grouping arrangements did I use?

Find the way to have the vision of the whole group

-Was my lesson teacher-dominated?

Yes but I think it must have dominated by students too, that should have participation in the
lesson

- Did the students work well for me? Yes the did

-How did I respond to the needs of different students?

I was pending on each student necessity

-What kind of teacher-student interaction occurred?

When I asked something they respond fast and when I asked to do some activity they did it

-Did anything amusing or unusual occur? No

-Did I have any problems with the lesson? No I didn’t

Task 3: Context: think about a lesson you have taught (include the lesson planning if possible) .
Towards the end of your teaching practice evaluate your own possible performance in a regular
classroom according to the following criteria, remember the point is your critic assessment and
self-observation, do not worry if in that classroom things were not perfect 😊:
