Dynamics - Sec 6

This document contains 12 mechanics problems involving determining angular velocities and linear velocities of connected rotating or translating components given certain known values like angular velocities, linear velocities, or directions of motion. The problems involve concepts like gears, linkages, flywheels, and sliding blocks connected in various configurations. Key quantities to be determined include angular velocities, linear velocities, and directions of motion.

velocity of rod BC at the instant shown.

4. If the angular velocity of link AB is ωB = 3 rad/s. determine the velocity of the block at C and
the angular velocity of the connecting link CB at the instant ϴ = 45° and ϕ = 30°.

AB rotates clockwise with an angular velocity of ωAB = 10 rad/s, determine the angular
velocity of gear C.
