- Check battery type and corresponding inverter type before making the configuration.

- Check battery firmware and corresponding inverter firmware whether align with above table or newer, otherwise communication cannot establish.

- All the listed battery modules manufactured after April 2020, are launched with above mentioned firmware, or newer.

*Any defective to battery module, include deep discharge case, due to a wrong/missing follow of the indications within this configuration manual,

will be disclaim from battery warranty scope.

2. Application Scenario

3 . Communication Cable PINOUT

- Make sure it`s using a cross PIN communication cable follow above table, to connect between battery and inverter.

4. Connection setup

- Read through the Product Manual of the battery and inverter to process the installation.

- Double check the power cable wiring connection and firmware version of battery and inverter.

- Double check the pinout of the communication cable on both battery and inverter side.

- Connect from battery RS485 port to inverter BMS communication port.

- Make sure choosing ‘Lithium Battery’(‘LI’, in program 5), on inverter LCD.

- After setup the battery type, select ‘LI 4’ in program 36, follow the LCD indication.

5. Parameter setting
Please follow below parameters to setup the inverter on the LCD panel.

a. Program 5 – select ‘LI’.

b. Program 36 – select ‘LI 4’.

c. Program 12 – set to 25% - 50%, cannot be lower than Program 21.

Program 13 – set to 60% - 100%, base on varying application scenario.

d. Program 21 – set to 20% - 30%, cannot be lower than 20%.

- Due to the inverter design logic, Depth of Discharge(DoD) of battery can only reach 80% or lower for a maintenance free purpose. If
further discharge the battery deeper than this, due to self-consumption on system level, battery module has risk of entering into
sleep mode. In this case, due to the inverter can ONLY be waked up by battery module, will further lead to a manual maintenance
and potential recharge of battery by external 48Vdc charger.
- About the rest Program related to battery charge/discharge voltage/current not listed above, are either invaild when using a lithium
battery, or follow the BMS suggested value to perform.
