The graph shows how education can be a great factor in having a stable life in the
future. As you can see, the people who have less than high school diploma earns at least
$500,000, while the people who has 8 years of doctoral earns at least $2,500,000. That means
that the higher your educational attainment, the higher is your opportunity to have a better job
and better life. Although it does not apply to all people, majority really needs education to
achieve their goals. That’s why as people who have the opportunity to study, we should be
responsible and make sure that our journey will not go to waste.

LEARNING ACTIVITY 1
Write a 150 words career goal essay. You may include the following in your discussion:
1. Long term and short term goal
2. Your passion
3. Things that you enjoy doing
4. Your strengths and weaknesses
Every person has dreams and every dream needs a career planning in order to achieve
it. Why do we need career planning? It is very important to be able to have a meaningful life
and career for a lifetime. Without it, we may loss our way to our dreams, we cannot assess and
develop ourselves, we cannot identify our strengths and weaknesses, and we cannot attain our
goals. Now, this is my career goals I want to share.
First thing is my short term goals that I planned before I went to college. Make sure to
learn something every day, do school works as early as possible, submit all activities early, get
high scores on quizzes and exams, and maintain my grades. For my long term goals, first of all I
want to finish my college degree, Have a stable and good paying job, build a house and buy a
car for my family. For now, I can say that I already did and still can do all my short term goals
and I am expecting to achieve also my long term goals. For my passion, I really like computing
and solving problems that's why I chose BS Accountancy course because I know I can apply and
enhance my skills in this field.
The things I enjoy doing are setting everyday goals and objectives, solving mathematical
problems, and reading accounting books. My strength is that I can do multi-tasking, I am not
easily giving up, and I can motivate myself to strive harder. On the other hand, I also have
weaknesses like being unproductive every time I feel sleepy, and easily distracted by thoughts.
Since I have already assessed myself, I already know what to improve so that it can be more
possible to achieve my goals in life.

•Dangerous - according to their physical appearance and behavior like drunk, unpleasant image, and the
way they look at people.

•Crazy - When a person does unusual things, messy dress, laughing alone, and bipolar.

meet new people.
3. When and where did you meet most of your friends for the first time?
I met my friends for the first time in school when I was in elementary and high school. I have
developed friendship with them because of our everyday interactions and that made us build stronger
friendships.
4. Have you met someone who you hated right away even though you didn’t know them?
Yes, there are people I hated just by hearing their voice and the way they talk even just for the
first time. Although I didn't really know them, there is a part of me that I really don't like that person and
makes me think that I will never be friends with her/him.
5. When are the most important times to make a good first impression?
I think the most important times to make good first impression are when meeting new people,
going to school, and entering a job. 6. First of all is your appearance, you should look presentable so
people would respect you, second is your aura, you should look nice and soft so they won't think twice
to approach you, and last one is your attitude, talk nicely and polite every time.
8. What kind of impression are you trying to make with your clothes?
Through my clothes, I can express how simple I am. Unlike other girls who reveal so much skin,
people would see me like simple girl who wear t-shirts and pants.
9. Do you try to make different first impression now than you did in high school?
Yes, unlike in high school that I am not that concerned about making my first impression, this

Resume is a document created and used by a person to present their background, skills,

Resumes can be used for a variety of reasons, but most often they are used to secure

LESSON 2 – PEOPLE AND PRACTICES
LEARNING ACTIVITY
Task: Taking into consideration Lesson 1 and 2 of Study Guide No. 2, compose an essay on how
do you think you and the government could improve on contributing meaningfully and
participating fully to ensure livability of communities.
We have a lot of issues facing today in our community and one of these is the change in
mode of learning due to the covid-19 pandemic. We cannot deny the fact that students do not
really learn from module learning and online class. Students and teachers both suffer from this
situation so government is trying to put back face to face classes. Conducting this face to face
learning is a high risk so we, as a citizen must participate and do our part to help our
government.
The face to face class has started in different schools but is limited in order to avoid the
high risk of spreading the virus. As students, we can contribute great help to our government
and community by following the policies implemented by our schools. We can also spread
awareness to our fellow citizens on how we can avoid being infected. We should not just follow
school protocols but also outside the school and everywhere. We are not yet totally covid-free
so we should still be careful and avoid physical contact with anyone.
We can do a lot to help our society such as engaging with community agendas, set goals
for community, support ordinances and resolutions implemented by local government, start
change with yourself, and be a responsible citizen.
