Thieves were stealing only left shoes, not pairs, from shoe shops in Sweden and Denmark. The first robbery occurred in Malmo, Sweden. The thieves escaped with seven left shoes worth £900. Similar robberies then started occurring in Copenhagen, Denmark. The police solved the crime with help from security footage.
