COMMON POINTS TO FOLLOWED FOR ENGLISH PROJECT PORTFOLIO

CLASS- XI 2023-24

1. Students need to create Project Portfolio- SOFT Copy. However, each


student is required to show the content of the project to the teacher
and work on the feedback/ suggestions given by the teacher. Projects
are to be finalized only after receiving feedback from the concerned
teacher.

2. The SOFT COPY should contain: (As specified by the CBSE)


 Cover page, with title of project, school details/details of students.
a. Statement of purpose/objectives/goals (Statement of Purpose- to
include why the project has been undertaken (the driving question)/
the goal you wish to reach in a few lines/ max. one short paragraph
of 50 words)
 Certificate of completion under the guidance of the teacher.
 Action plan for the completion of assigned tasks.
b. Plan of Action in tabular form (Sample)
RESEARCH & IDEATION JUNE
SURVEY JUNE
COMPILATION OF DATA JULY
PROJECT COMPLETION AFTER RECEIVING AUGUST
FEEDBACK

 Materials such as scripts for the theatre/role play, questionnaires for


interview, written assignments, essays, survey-reports and other
material evidence of learning progress and academic
accomplishment.
 The 800-1000 words essay/Script/Report.
 Report/ Essay in 800-1000 words on the project mentioning how the
project was ideated and carried out. Don’t copy & paste your research
materials.
c. Student/group reflections. Reflections- individual- not more than 2 short
paragraphs.

 If possible, Photographs that capture the positive learning experiences
of the student(s).
 List of resources/bibliography

3. The PROJECT need not be voluminous- max. 20 pages. However, the


components mentioned above should feature in the file.

4. Certificate of Completion – Mention both-


 Principal’s Name & Designation
 Subject Teacher’s name & English Teacher
 Date
