C. Presentation

Our topic for today is all about

"form," but before we proceed
with our discussion, let’s read our
objectives.
Objectives
At the end of the lesson, the
learners are able to:
a) Identifies with body
movements the beginnings,
endings, and repeats of a
recorded music example.
b) Chooses the exact geometric
shapes that correspond to
musical form.

Thank you. I hope we can achieve

our objectives.

D. Discussion

Now, let’s define what is form?

Musical form is defined as the

overall arrangement of sections
in a piece of music.

Much like your dance, music is

often organized into sections.
The overall organization of these
sections is called form. The form
of a song shows its structure and
can often help the listener relate
to and understand what the
composer intended to say.

Like in our activity lately, the

song has beginnings, endings,
and repeats.

Do you have any questions about

our lesson? None teacher.
Alright,please stand up,
everyone.

Let’s listen to the song "Tong,

tong, tong, Pakitong-kitong"
again, and this time we do the
body movements for each line.
Student: They do the things that the
Beginning: March
teacher has instructed them to do.
Repeat: Clap
Ending: Sway

Okay, class, thank you. You may

now take your seats. And give
yourself a good job clap.

E. Generalization

Let’s have a recap.

What is form again? Yes, Kate? Kate: Musical form is defined as

the overall arrangement of
sections in a piece of music.

Very good!

You all did understand our

lesson, and for that, let us give (The student was clapping)
ourselves a "barangay clap."

F. Application

For us to fully comprehend our

discussion, let's have a quick
exercise. Are you all excited?
Yes, ma'am. We are excited!

Then, I will divide you into two

groups. The group A and the
group B Please count from 1 to 2,
starting with the students in front.
Ready, start.
1…2.. 1..2…..

Currently, we have determine

your groups already. I want group
A to change seats in the left side
while group B will be sitting on
the right side. Okay, move.

Settle down and hear me out. I

have here a song and it has a
label A or B and A&B per line.
Group A will be singing line A
and line B will be for group B, so
you will alternate. Now, if the
other group is singing, the other
will be saluting using their right
hand while marching and when
it's their turn to sing, they will only
march. Vice versa. Do you None, ma'am.
understand, class? Any
clarifications?

Let's start! "Martsa Gagmay nga Sundalo"

(Tune: Here We Sit Like Birds in the
Wilderness)
Martsa, martsa (A & B)
Gagmay nga sundalo(A)
Gagmay nga sundalo (B)
Gagmay nga sundalo (A)

Martsa, martsa (A & B)
Gagmay nga sundalo (A & B)

Sundalo sa Ginoo (A & B)

Sundalo sa Ginoo (A)

Sundalo sa Ginoo (B)

Martsa, martsa (A & B)

Gagmay nga sundalo (A & B)
Sundalo sa Ginoo (A & B)

Then, this will be the end of our

class. Hopefully you have learned
something and you enjoyed the
discussion more than I enjoyed it. I'll
see you next week.
