19VI FAQs
Q1. If | scan a product barcode, will it include the
name and price in the file automatically?
Answer:
The scanner works like a keyborad, it does not
interpret what the barcode is, it just "types" out
a string of alphabet numeric characters that the
barcode represents. It's up to the database
software you're using to interpret what that string
of characters mean. Once you acquire the
barcodes, you have to correlated them to something
more meaningful by either purchasing a software
service which will interpret the barcode and relate
it to a product, or you can use your own inventory
system to assign the barcode s to specific products
After creating the relationship between your
barcode and the corresponded information, when
you enter the barcode into the software by scanning,
your software will look up the barcode and then
related the information of your product.
Q2. My phone can not find the scanner.
Answer:
Possibly the scanner was set to 2. 4G Wireless
Mode, please unplug the USB cable and set the
scanner to Bluetooth Mode. And please make sure
your phone has not connected to other Bluetooth
devices.
Q3.Scanner is connected, but the barcode can not
be sent to my PC/tablet/phone
Answer:
Possibly the scanner was set to storage Mode,
please scan the code to change to Instant Upload
Mode.
20Q4. Some barcodes can not be read, why?
Answer:
Damaged barcodes and blurry barcodes can not
be read, you have to input manually. If the barcode
is clear and complete, scan other barcode in the
same type to find out if the certain barcode type
is off by default. Some barcodes are off by default
for they're not commonly used, please contact us
if you don't know what type of barcode you're
referring to.
Q5. Why the barcode content is not correct?
Answer:
If garbled characters shows. please make sure the
host keyboard language is the same as the scanner
language. if characters missing happens, please
slow down the transmission speed.
If you have any other question or concern, or your
problem can not be solved referring to the
