Who are Stakeholders?
Ciel Consulting is developing a new mobile phone app. The app will enable users pay their Taxes using
their mobile phones. This app will work on all mobile operating systems around the world and will
work on any 3G network. This project will involve major Telecommunication firms around the world as
well as the governments of the host countries. Millennium communications has agreed to sponsor the
project from research stage to eventual launch. You have been appointed as the Project Manager for
the project; your first task is to identify the stakeholder groups and the various stakeholders you think
might be involved in this project.
