Machine Operating Procedures20180329
①no sundries on working table and bellow cover; ②water level of water chiller in green area; ③supply voltage within ±10% of rated
1 Check before starting
voltage; ④joints on control cabinet are firmly connected; ⑤no gas leakage
2 Power on ①turn on main power switch;②turn on host;③turn on peripheral devices
①confirm no obstacles before moving any axis; ②move the laser head far from workpiece and working table; ③click CNC, Y axis go origin
3 Go origin
first, then X axis go origin (Z axis will go origin automatically)
①plate flat, no water stains, grease, rust; ②move the cross beam to the rear of machine before placing plate to avoid collision; ③move the
4 Place plate
laser head manually above the plate
Start and
cutting ①select a needed nozzle; ②make sure the nozzle is clean and no scratch; ③put a white paper under the nozzle and observe the φ10mm red
Select nozzle, check red light status, align
process 5 light to see if there is dark dots; ④attach a piece of tape on nozzle, pulse to see whether light is right in the center, if not, then adjust the
light, calibrate
screws to make it centered; ⑤ensure the plate is not shaken, clean and rust-free before calibrate, calibration result at least is“good”
① check the graphic size and unit; ②set the layer settings according to cutting requirement, such as: lead position, lead line, nest; ③sort the
6 Import graphic, process setting, simulation
path and simulate
①cut 400mm straight line on 1mm stainless steel to test the focal length and speed, cut 50mm square on 5mm carbon steel to test if light is in
7 Confirm focal length, speed, layer settings the center of nozzle; ②set gas type and layer settings, like: gas pressure, cut speed, focal length, pierce settings ect; ③generally, use O2 when
cutting carbon steel, gas pressure between 2bar-8bar; ④use N2 when cutting stainless steel, gas pressure between 18bar-23bar
8 Positioning, frame, cutting ①select Ref according to plate size and graphic; ②move laser head to where you want to cut, press “Frame”; ③press “Start” to cut
①move up the laser head to a safe distance; ②move the laser head away from work piece; ③remove workpiece. Note: do be careful to avoid
9 Remove workpiece
laser head collision
10 Move laser head close to origin Move laser head close to machine origin by control handle
Shutdown 11 Drain the gas ①turn off the gas cylinder valve; ②press “Puff” to drain the gas in pipe
process
12 Turn off peripheral devices Turn off water chiller, laser source and exhaust fan
13 Close control system Close software and turn off computer host
14 Turn off main power Turn off the machine’s main switch
Exchange 15 Remove workpiece Move the laser head away from workpiece and remove work piece
plate cutting 16 Go origin manually Z axis go origin first, then X and Y axis
and tube
cutting 17 Software exchange and shutdown ① go origin first after exchange the software; ②cut according to step 4 to step 8; shutdown according to step 9 to step 14
