that you like. You see a nice blue sweater, but you’d prefer it in black.
Sales clerk: Black sweaters are out of stock, and only the pants are in the customer’s size.
Role play 2 Customer: You like a sweater and a pair of shoes. Ask the sales clerk if they have the sweater in another
color of your choice and if they have the shoes in your size. Try on the items and decide whether to
buy.
Sales clerk: Help the customer.
Role play 3 Customer: You see a jacket that you like. Decide whether to buy.
Sales clerk: Try to sell the jacket to your customer. Talk about its material and ask if the customer
would like to try it on.
