Dear Ma’am,

I am writing to inform you that I will not be able to come to work for the next few days as my
child has been admitted to the hospital. My child is having trouble in breathing due to croup
or hard barking cough and fever and needs my attention and care during this time.

I understand that my absence may cause some inconvenience, but I hope that you will
understand the gravity of the situation and the importance of me being there for my child. As
soon as my child's condition stabilizes, I will return to work as soon as possible.

In the meantime, I will do my best to stay up to date on any work-related matters and ensure
that any urgent issues are attended to. I have also notified my colleague, Corazon Diocadiz
who can help cover my responsibilities during my absence.

Thank you for your understanding during this time. I appreciate your support and look

Unfortunately, I woke up feeling very unwell and am experiencing fever, cough, and nausea.
I do not want to risk spreading any illness to my colleagues and pupils, so I will be staying at
home to rest and recover.

I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and understand the impact my absence
may have on the work that needs to be completed. However, I believe it is in the best
interest of everyone's health and safety that I remain at home until I am fully recovered.

I have already notified my team of my absence and will keep them updated on my condition.
If there are any urgent matters that require my attention, please let me know and I will do my
best to respond to them remotely.
