1
What is Artificial Intelligence?
Artificial Intelligence also known as AI has been around since the 1950s. At that

time, it was a machine made to perform a task that would've previously required human

intelligence. Artificial intelligence allows machines to model, or even improve upon, the

capabilities of the human mind. And from the development of self-driving cars to the

creation of smart assistants like Siri and Alexa. Artificial Intelligence is used to

manipulate pictures, videos and audio, there are negative and positive effects and ways

to use Artificial Intelligence (AI), Using Artificial Intelligence (AI) software such as

CHATGPT can lead to No creativity. A big disadvantage of AI is that it cannot learn to

think outside the box. AI is capable of learning over time with pre-fed data and past

experiences.

2
Types of Artificial intelligence (AI).

There are several types of AI, including:

 Rule-based AI: These systems use a set of predefined rules to make decisions

or perform tasks.

 Machine Learning: This involves training a computer system to learn from data

and improve its performance over time.

 Deep Learning: This is a type of machine learning that uses neural networks,

which are inspired by the structure of the human brain, to learn from data.

 Natural Language Processing: This involves teaching computers to understand

and generate human language.

3
The difference between Strong AI Vs. Weak AI.

A strong AI, which is also known as artificial general intelligence. Strong AI is like a

human where it is design to do task it was not trained to do like a normal human being,

Strong AI will be useful in the future where some tasks will be impossible for human

beings to do.

A weak AI or narrow AI or specialized AI is used in our everyday life, a weak AI is limited

to it task because unlike a strong AI before a weak AI to perform a task it must be

trained to do so. Weak AI is often focused on performing a single task extremely well.

Weak AI examples include:

 Siri, Alexa and other smart assistants

 Self-driving cars

 Google search

 Conversational bots

 Email spam filters

 Netflix’s recommendations

4
How does Artificial Intelligences (AI) work.

Artificial Intelligences (AI) works by combining large data sets with intuitive

processing algorithms. Artificial Intelligences is not just one algorithm, Artificial

Intelligences can be used to manipulate data by learning behavior patterns within the

data set. By combining large amounts of data with fast, iterative processing and

intelligent algorithms, allowing the software to learn automatically from patterns or

features in the data. Software’s such as CHATGPT is an AI control software.

5
Advantages of Artificial Intelligences (AI).

There is a lot of Advantages of using Artificial Intelligences (AI). Some Advantages are:

 It is available 24/7 – A study was conducted were it reveal that humans are

productive only about 3 to 4 hours in a day. Human also needs breaks and time

off to be able to have a personal life. Artificial Intelligences (AI) does not need any

breaks or any time off, they also can think faster than humans and perform

multiple tasks at once.

 Reduces human error - Artificial Intelligence can significantly reduce errors and

increase accuracy and precision. Every decision made by AI is gathered from

previous task it has done before and what it is programed to do.

 Faster decision making - AI can help organizations make faster and more

informed decisions in high-stakes environments, where decisions must be made

quickly and accurately to prevent costly errors or save lives.

6
Disadvantages of Artificial Intelligences (AI).

Just how AI has a lot of advantages there is also a lot disadvantages. Here are some of the

disadvantages of AI:

 No creativity – AI cannot think outside the box, because AI can only do task it is

programed to do or learned through data from a previous task.

 Unemployment – As AI is getting more and more advanced a lot of business will start

using AI which will lead to unemployment for a lot of people and because of that people

will not be able to make an income to support their families.

 No Improvement - Humans cannot develop artificial intelligence because it is a

technology based on pre-loaded facts and experience. AI is proficient at repeatedly

carrying out the same task, but if we want any adjustments or improvements, we must

manually alter the codes. AI cannot be accessed and utilized akin to human intelligence,

but it can store infinite data.

7
Legal concerns with Artificial Intelligences.
The creation of AI-generated images and text (like ChatGPT) may lead to legal issues

involving patent and copyright law, protection of one's rights of publicity and privacy, and

ethical issues that will need to be addressed by courts and legislators. AI processing

involves large amounts of data. The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit held

that AI cannot be listed as an inventor on a patent application. Although individual users

have not used their own faces for trademark purposes or allowed others to do so, by

granting rights to images via an AI app to a developer, a user could end up seeing their

face on the developer's website or marketing materials.

8
Ethical concerns with Artificial Intelligences.

 Unjustified actions – A lot of algorithmic decision-making and data mining

depends on correlations and inductive knowledge to identify within a dataset.

Sufficient volume of data is used as creditable to direct action without first

establishing causality.

 Autonomy - Value-laden decisions made by algorithms can also pose a threat to

autonomy. Personalization can be understood as the construction of choice

architectures which are not the same across a sample. AI can nudge the

behaviors of data subjects and human decision-makers by filtering information.

 Safety and resilience - Unethical algorithms can be thought of as malfunctioning

software artefacts that do not operate as intended. Machine learning in particular

raises unique challenges, because achieving the intended or correct behavior that

does not imply the absence of errors or harmful actions.

9
Applications that use Artificial Intelligences (AI).

An app's interface can be personalized with options based on past user behavior Such

as location, purchase history or usage patterns. Artificial Intelligence measure user

behavior and provide them with personalized product recommendations. Just like every

normal apps people use on a daily basis, what’s up business uses an AI called a chatbot

that’s is pre-programmed to engage with customers.

Some examples of apps that used Artificial Intelligences are:

 Google Assistance

 Siri

 Cortana

 Google Map

 Grammarly

10
Ways Artificial Intelligences (AI) can be improved

Although artificial Intelligences is getting advanced into modern society there is still a lot

factors of AI that can be improved.

Some of these factors are:

 Explain ability: AI systems can often be difficult to interpret and understand.

Improving the explain ability of AI systems can help increase trust and confidence

in their decisions and predictions.

 Human Oversight: While AI can learn from data, it still requires human oversight

to ensure that it is making ethical and responsible decisions. Human input can

help ensure that AI systems are making the right decisions and avoid unintended

consequences.

 Better Data: AI algorithms rely on data to learn and improve. Providing more and

better-quality data can improve the accuracy and effectiveness of AI systems.

 Increased Computing Power: AI requires significant computing power to

process large amounts of data and run complex algorithms. Improvements in

computing power can make it possible to train larger and more complex AI

models, resulting in more accurate predictions and better performance.

11
How does Artificial intelligences (AI) affect human

Soon AI will be taking over the world and many people jobs, and

because of that a lot of people will lose their job and have no income

to provide for their self and their family and would lead to poverty.

12
Conclusion

In conclusion, AI has become a rapidly growing and exciting field of computer science

that aims to create intelligent machines that can perform tasks that typically require

human intelligence. AI has the potential to revolutionize various industries and improve

our daily lives, However, there are still significant challenges that need to be addressed,

such as ethical concerns, interpretability and transparency.

The future of AI looks promising with ongoing research and development aiming to

improve the accuracy, efficiency, and effectiveness of AI systems. With advancements in

technology, increased collaboration, and better data, AI has the potential to transform

our world in ways we may not even imagine yet. As we continue to explore the potential

of AI, it is important to consider the ethical implications and ensure that AI systems are

developed and used in a responsible and beneficial way for society.
