1. Description
1.1The business idea:
- Weddings can be some of the most special moments in a person’s life. From
the bride’s wedding gown to details of the reception, this special day is
something people remember forever. Whenever people get married, there’s no
doubt that the bride will want to purchase a wedding dress for the occasion.
- HEA's Bridal Shop is a standard and registered bridal shop business that will
be located in one of the busiest business market districts in Ho Chi Minh City.
- HEA's Bridal Shop will be involved in retailing and also renting wedding
gowns and wedding accessories, bridesmaid dresses, groom and groomsmen
tuxedos, and so on. We will also provide repairing and resizing wedding dress
services to our customers.
2. Customer analysis
In this section, we will have 3 main points to analyze. And the first part is a
description of customers.
2.1.1 Demographic
The target customer of the products in our shop is people of all ages, genders, and
occupations. They are mainly people with stable incomes. We focus mainly on
those who have a demand to rent or buy wedding dresses.
2.1.2 Geographic
Our bridal shops will be located in areas with a young population and are suitable
for people who are getting married or intend to get married.
Our store has another advantage in that it is not only close to the city center but
also close to the wedding centers. This is also something that soon-to-be-married
couples consider.
Although located right in the center of the city, the location of our shop will be
where there is a wide road and parking space.
2.1.3 Psychographic
The majority of customers are always interested in fashion trends first. They will
then notice the prices of products and other services. Besides, the quality of the
product is a matter of great concern to customers. The wedding ceremony is very
important, so customers will pay great attention to the form. In addition, the
convenience of service packages will also be favored by customers.
2.2 Location
HEA is located at 18H, Cong Hoa Street, Ward 4, Tan Binh District, Ho Chi Minh
City. This location is near 2 wedding centers ( Grand Palace and Din Ky Center ).
Moreover, it is close to crowded places such as Cong Hoa Vincom, Holiday INN
Hotel, and other food shops, so it will easily be noticed by potential customers.
Our customer resource is divided into 2 groups. The first is who is engaged and
about to get married. It accounts for 43% so we will mainly focus on this group.
The second group is those who are married, accounting for 30%.
2.1Mission, vision, & Core Values
2.1.1 Mission: Our mission is to establish a bridal shop business that will make
available a wide range of bridal wear and accessories at affordable prices
to the residents of Tan Binh District – Ho Chi Minh City and other cities
in Vietnam where we intend to open chains of bridal shops. We believe
in providing superior customer service and creating a shopping
experience that is relaxed and pleasurable.
1.2.2 Vision
- Our vision is to become the leading bridal shop – brand in the bridal shop
industry in Ho Chi Minh City and also to be among the top 10 bridal shop
brands in Vietnam within the first 10 years of opening our first bridal shop.
This might look too tall a dream but we are optimistic that this will surely
come to pass.
- To have vigorous sales in the first twelve months of operations.
- In 2025, we want to have sales more than double the first-year level and a
net income of at least 10% of sales.

styles in the low to mid-price range. HEA's Bridal Shop will develop a reputation
for dependable service, fair pricing, and reliability.

This is the summary of the SWOT analysis that was conducted for HEA's
Bridal Shop:
• Strength:
Our location, the business model we will be operating on, varieties of payment
options, a wide range of bridal wear and related accessories, and our excellent
customer service culture will count as a strong strength for HEA's Bridal Shop.
• Weakness:
A major weakness that may count against us is the fact that we are a new bridal
retail store outlet in Ho Chi Minh City and we don’t have the financial capacity
to compete with multi–million dollars bridal shop outlets and when it comes to
retailing at a rock bottom prices for all their bridal wears and other wedding
accessories. To solve this weakness, we will launch marketing and PR
campaigns. We also could call for more investments by calling investors to
invest in our shop.
• Opportunities:
The fact that we are going to be operating our bridal shop on one of the busiest
streets in Ho Chi Minh City provides us with unlimited opportunities to sell or
rent our bridal wear and related products to a large number of people.
• Threat:
Just like any other business, one of the major threats that we are likely going to
face is competition with other brands and unstable customers. Another threat
that may likely confront us is the arrival of a new bridal shop in the same
location where ours is located. We are going to find a source of products with
stable prices and create special highlights for the shop to attract more
customers.
