A Dark Night
A Dark Night
Andrew sat up and looked at them, something wasn’t right with those two, he thought
to himself.
The two men asked for a cup of coffee and some tea. While the two men were looking
down, Andrew studied them closely. The two men have caps, both pointing down to not
show their identity.
Black shirt brown trousers dark blue cap, the only thing that isn’t closely
coloured black are their shoes, white sneakers from Nike. When the two men saw
Andrew looking at them, they turned their heads at them but quickly ducked their
heads down again.
“That’s strange, I could’ve sworn I saw red eyes on one of them,” Andrew thought.
Andrew started thinking about how he got here. He was hiking and it started
raining. He kept going and the rain kept getting stronger and heavier.
Soon, the rain was so heavy it was like hail constantly running down his shirt, so
he had to take cover somewhere. He found a car and without thinking, he sat inside.
Just then, the car started moving. He looked at the driver’s seat but there was
nobody there. With the car already moving, he had no escape or he would risk
getting heavily rained on and suffering very painful falls.
Just then, he saw a bend on the road, he panicked as the car would crash, or so he
thought.
When the car was just about to hit the bend, a hand reached to the steering
wheel and turned the car. When there was a bend, the hand would take control.
When the car stopped, he quickly ran into a cafe where the car stopped. And here he
found himself, in the same cafe, thinking about his life and how he saw ghosts.
He got up, paid at the counter, and left the cafe. When he got to the other side of
the cafe, Andrew noticed that the two men came out, still having the caps down.
In fact, the two men seem to be coming towards Andrew. Andrew started running as
fast as he can and the men slowed down.
Soon, he entered what I call “The Bare Room”. There was almost nothing inside of
the room. Just a few chairs and one table.
It was very eerie and as excited as he was he couldn’t cover up the feeling that
there was somebody looking at him at all times.
After a few minutes of exploring, he heard water dripping from behind. He looked
up and froze on the spot. Two white-like paper eyes looked back at him.
It was a huge grey humanoid, it seemed as if he was made out of sticks. Hands
against the walls, the walls carrying it above the ground. Its head, almost fully
egg-shaped, with no facial features noticeable except for the big round eyes.
All of a sudden, it let out an ear-piercing scream from no visible place. It was
so loud, Andrew thought his eardrums would break.
If you put your ear up to the screen you could just hear it. He ran out of the
only exit which was the entrance to the room but was blocked by, you guessed, it
the two men from just now.
They had the same eyes and look like the humanoid on the roof, just with clothes
and hats and not made out of sticks. The last thing Andrew saw was the two men
letting out a sickening grin with their all-white glowing teeth.
Andrew woke up, he recognised the place because he had been here twice. It was
the town hospital. How did he get here? Why was he here? Who brought him here?
Andrew had many questions. But all his questions got answered after he saw the same
two guys he saw in the room that was smiling as he went down. The difference was,
they were panicking and not at all laughing at his demise. They were relieved when
they saw Andrew open his eyes.
Turns out, the two men also thought Andrew was suspicious so they followed him.
They were about to turn back when Andrew ran into the abandoned building, screamed,
and fainted so they checked on him.
When Andrew got discharged from the hospital, he went back home and examined what
the hospital has done to him. He saw that a long scar has appeared on his back, and
it dawned on him. Hospitals don’t operate surgery on the backs because the backbone
would be blocking.
A new story to tell the public!
