LIST OF SHORTLISTED CANDIDATES FOR WRITING TEST AND INTERVIEW*
Please read the instructions carefully:
1. The Embassy had received 1656 applications, and out of these following applicants have been
shortlisted for writing test and interview based on screening of their Preliminary Application
Form.
2. The writing test will be conducted on 24 June (Saturday) at School of Languages 2, Jawaharlal
Nehru University, New Delhi from 10.00 am onwards. Reporting time for the same is 9.00 am.
3. On the day of the writing test, you are required to bring 2 (two) sets of applications along with
supporting documents as mentioned in the guidelines.
4. The interview* shall be conducted for successful candidates of writing test, and it will be in
online mode through Microsoft Teams app and the candidates will be informed about it,
through email by the Embassy in due course. You are therefore advised to make all the
necessary arrangements in advance to attend the interview as per schedule.
5. The details of the writing examination will be informed to the successful candidates by email
later. If any of the candidate do not receive email from the embassy within one week, please
contact us.
6. If you fail to attend the writing test, your application will not be considered for further process.
7. The screening process of candidates for the Japanese Government (MEXT) Scholarship is an
internal matter of the Embassy, therefore it is not bound to give any explanation to anyone in
anyway about rejection of their application.
8. The Embassy works from Monday to Friday (from 9.00 am to 5.30pm, with 1.00pm to 2.00pm
as lunch break) and if you (only shortlisted candidates) have any question, then please call us
during the working hours only.
