c) value the importance of knowing how to form the plural or noun.

lord as we pray

We had already finished discussing
about our topic yesterday. Again let
us recall what our topic yesterday? “Our topic yesterday, is all about noun”
What is noun?
C. DISCUSSION
Plural noun is the form of a noun used to
show there are more than one. Most nouns
simply add –s or –es to the end to become
plural.
How about the word “school” The plural form of the word “school” is
“Schools”
2. For nouns that ends in s, ss, ch and x.
Simple add –es.
Example:
Gas – Gases
Glass – Glasses
Box – Boxes
Dish – Dishes
How about the word “Church”? The plural form of the word “church” is
“churches”
3. For nouns that end in y preceded by a
consonant, change y to “I” and add – es.
Example:
Pony – Ponies
Baby – Babies
Story – Stories
Country – Countries
How about the word “sky”? The plural form of the word “sky” is “skies”.
