Interviewiee : Mr. Condrad Pamintuan

1. What comes to your mind when you hear the word "technology"?
 A device or piece of software that significantly affects society.

2. What social alterations has technology brought about?

 Our social life is significantly impacted by technology. For instance, in the
past, we had to write letters to our loved ones who lived far away from us and
then patiently wait for their responses. Now all we need to do is utilize our
laptops or smartphones, connect them to the internet, and start a hassle-free,
instantaneous conversation with them.

3. Which advantages does technology provide?

 One of the advantages that technology offers us is that it can perform tasks
without the need for human power. This is simply one advantage of
technology, as we can see. We must acknowledge that there are numerous
advantages to technology today. The industry is significantly impacted by
technology. Thanks to technology, the innovations are spreading like an
avalanche.

4. What is the most notable technological development?

 There are a lot of things that come to mind when I think of the best technical
innovation, but to keep it simple, this is the best one that humanity have
created. The internet, artificial intelligence, computers, smartphones, and
other gadgets are also present. These factors have a significant impact on
how we live in the modern era and significantly ease our daily struggles.
5. What do you anticipate the next significant technological advancement to
be?
 Artificial intelligence is what it is. These days' machines and computers are
more advanced and intelligent. Even humans can't match its intelligence. It
can complete your assignments, papers, and even produce a painting for you.
The AI will become considerably smarter over time, which can occasionally
be terrifying.

6. What developments in technology have made the world worse?

 When we consider how far technology has come, we constantly notice how
much easier it has made our lives, but there are always drawbacks. Consider
the development of the mobile internet. Unlimited Internet access made
matters worse, right? in several ways! Consider the length of time that
individuals spend staring at screens. We now have access to more
information, but we haven't improved our level of education as a result.
Neither did you gain a better knowledge of physics nor did you learn any
Japanese. Instead, you depend more on the information on your phone.
Nowadays, you can simply Google whatever you don't know. There is no
justification for your inability to reply to an email. People are less likely to
remember information now. More traffic accidents, a surge in eye strain and
visual impairment, higher brain activity, and other issues are all results of
greater mobile use. Not to add, the proliferation of mobile Internet has
expanded the channels via which cybercriminals can access our private data
and encrypted accounts. People are glued to their phones the entire time.

7. Since the advent of technology, has society grown more sloppy or lazy?
 I say "yes" to that. Students are a fantastic illustration. They always browse
the internet while doing any kind of homework or take-home activity. They
copy and paste everything without reading it. They were lazy as a result;
there was no learning involved.
